Perk system? Why does this say to me "we're focusing more on the combat !!!!!1" than anything else?
neutral
Edit: Books for next term will run me around six hundred dollars. That's not as bad as I'd thought they'd be, looking at the numbers.
But I had a shitty day today so now that pisses me off more. Damn school.

Yeah I played fallout NV when it came out so I am familiar with the perk system. It will be awesome to have for Skyrim. Perks don't have to be completely combatant natured. It might be like 'find more gold' 'find more weapons' 'optional dialogues with certain races, or your own' ect. So excited.

"Anyone know a super fantastic game that will suck me in for a few days at least? I need some big distractions for now, and I want something new so I won't get bored with it.
And I'm currently annoyed with Thief so I'm refusing to play it."

There is always Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed. If you haven't played them already. Um lets see what else? Lego Star Wars or Harry Potter, yes I know its a kids game but I spent many an hour collecting the Lego Nubs to unlock all the bonus characters and effects the game had.

"I need to finish AC: Brotherhood but some reason I don't feel the drive to play it like AC or AC2. Maybe I'll play ME, give it another go. And don't worry, I've played a few of the Lego games there's nothing wrong with them."

Why is it, on your day off from work it seems that everything conspires against you to keep you from just having a lazy day? I swear the past two day's I've had off it was always one thing or another that I had to do.

"Because, Tel, usually you'd have the time to do all the other stuff but because you're working you have to postpone it to your day off. Thus removing any relaxation that comes with a 'day off'."

The thing is today I really didn't have to do anything, but the fates decided to make my sister vomit her guts out at work so much that I was needed to go and get her on the way there she calls me and says that she's driving herself home instead.

"Okay, I think I need an intervention or something. I want to play DA2 through again. Just so I can woo Anders again(and to a lesser extent hear Fenris' laugh. It should be illegal, goddamnit.) Though at the same time I don't want to because I vowed I'd play as a mage, that hates other mages(for my own guilty pleasure) and go after Fenris(and you know... not end up breaking his heart and going after Anders. AGAIN.)
I... think I might be slightly obsessed and turning into one of those fans. The ones that make normal fans look bad. It makes me die a little on the inside." :/
(Pretty much, I'm saying 'Goddamn you Anders', for stealing my precious, precious sleep and hoping I'll be turning my laptop off the last time for the night. It's almost 2:30am, I do not need to be thinking about you.)
(And aren't you guys just happy to hear about my pathetic rant(because I have no other gamer friends who play Dragon Age, who would not... question how I am.))

The way I see it, if it isn't eating into the important things in your life, like eating and bathing...things like that, I don't see it as a problem. You're simply very passionate? xD
Or perhaps I already make "normal fans" look bad. I'd go through the game several times to hear Fenris laugh ninja
On another note, finally got Vesperia and am playing it. So far in I know I mostly suck at the battle system but I'm used to faster characters than Yuri, like Guy. But I think I'm getting the hang of Yuri's fighting style so even that complaint isn't a big one. Most of all I'm surprised I don't hate the main character. I really like Yuri. Despite the fact I'm a couple hours in and merely chasing after some kid I've never met (normally if I don't have a feel for the story after a while my interest fizzles) I'm so far liking what I'm playing.

I've forgotten many a time to eat something when ever I get a new game that just sucks me into it. I still remember to bath, after awhile even my own funk starts to bother me. lol

"Man, I want to get Vesperia, real bad. I used to rent and play it with my siblings, (and never got to finish because Karol was an a*****e and stood there for 10 seconds... doing nothing, instead of healing us. F.U. Karol!) And Yeah, Yuri isn't whiny or anything, so he's pretty cool, and I played him throughout the entire game(except when I played Raven every now and then). And as a surprise, I didn't hate any of the female characters(Unlike in Eternal Sonata, I'm looking at you Polka, Salsa... and the chick who has that really long, really annoying death scene.) Though, it's been forever since I've played but once you get into it it picks up a little and has... more of a goal, I guess? I remember my siblings and I exchanging theories over what was going to happen."
