Well, this weekend didn't turn out well. neutral
On Friday we met up at the awesome restaurant. That was nice enough, although, on my fiancé's best friend was talking to me, not his girlfriend. Then we got back to the house and got alcohol. When we got back a friend of the girl was there, so she just chatted with her all night. I ended up having so many drinks shoved in my face that I threw up. My poor fiance followed me in and cleaned up my mess and held me on the bathroom floor, then his friend helped walk to me to the bed. When the girl's friend left she finally sort of talked to me because she liked that I wanted to go to iHop, but then we all went to bed.
I felt horrible on Saturday, but I got to nap with my fiance, so that was nice.
Sunday I slept most of the day.
Monday we went back. No drinking thank-you-very-much. Watched Easy A {LOVED IT}, and played some games, but there was even more people this time, and the girl didn't talk to me once.
Then this morning my fiance came back after class and showed me that I had a ticket for "parking on the yellow curb" {WTF}. So then I had to wake up after only an hour or so of sleep and hang around town until work.
{Sigh} What a weekend. And I really wanted at least one friend. cry
And sorry for the little "journal" entry, but this is my safe haven online. XD
Although, I'm getting around to that tumblr of mine.

freelance lover I made homemade Chipotle today and it tasted AWESOME. Om nom nom. My dad made some a few weeks ago. It was AMAZING, so I know exactly what you mean!

It's going to be one of my first downloads once my computer is fixed and reformatted. I saw skype in action last night, and I thought it looked pretty good.

Militant Christian rmcdra Ugh. My car is driving me insane. I know right? That's so wild... Anyway seems like I got the new alternator and new battery installed properly but now I find out there might be a problem with the wiring cause Advanced Auto Parts tester kit is saying the battery is not getting any charge from the alternator crying

In hindsight, I think he got into the debate thinking he could prove me wrong and show me the light, but then he realized I actually had well researched and well thought out evidence to back up my beliefs, and jumped to petty threats xD

To stay with the conversation going here. There was this one Christian chat thread I joined in. Just introduced myself by saying hi. Because I have that I'm a Gnostic in my siggy he starts jumping on me about how I'm not a Christian because Gnostics aren't Christians. Not surprised tbh but what did surprise me was how quickly he seemed to get upset using the classic and now outdated arguments used to claim that sects regarded as gnostic were not Christian.
The ironic part, many "modern gnostics" or "neognostics" embrace these outdated arguments to define themselves and will argue how they aren't Christians since "of course" rolleyes they are Gnostics.

Today has just gotten off to a bad start, and this is the fourth day this week I haven't gotten enough sleep. I just want to go back to sleep so at least I won't be super tired and maybe in a better mood.

Hey everyone... I owe a check in. rolleyes
Sorry I haven't been around, I have gotten very popular in RL recently. Enough so that I am ready to return to my normal, reclusive, hermit-like existence.
Weddings, Funerals, child care, weather, damaged local power sub-stations, overtime... It seems all of the world is conspiring to keep me off-line.
I think the funniest though is the wedding part. My daughter is in it to, and all of us female types did our dress shopping through this week. I SO have to shed some tonnage! To think after so long I would be asked to be a 'brides-maid' (and "matron" just doesn't suit my personality either). It's been a full 12 years since I have actually been to a formal wedding (my husband and I just celebrated 10, but we eloped LOL), and I get to wear the BM dress and everything. I find it amusing.
Well, that's the short version, so anyway... I hope to be back soon. LOL
My best friend's G-ma passed away last week, and so I tried to devote my week to being there for her and her sisters, which included watching children, traveling to airports, and hanging out. I really kinda miss getting to hang out like that, but we live in different cities, and between kids' schedules, and husband's schedules, and the fact that both of our families' only have a one vehicle, our visit time seems to be destined as phone conversation... for now... I am hoping to have a second transport method for our household soon (the hunt is ready to break me right now though.)
