"We'll be seein' ya," Irvine chuckled, picking up the now-sleeping Alexei and motioning for Kali to follow. "Ya left yer granddaughter behind," he said, handing her over to Seifer once inside the house. They both grinned and went their seperate ways to give the two on the balcony a little privacy.

Irvine idly wandered around the house, trying to find something to do. He had left Kali in his room to sleep. Poor girl had been exhausted. And now Irvine was super-bored... He really wanted... to snipe something. A challenge...

Kamaria dashed into the house, looking around frantically. She almost wept when she saw the cowboy just standing around. "Irvine!" she called desperately, racing up to him.

"What's wrong?" Irvine asked, catching the girl and gently lowering her until they were both kneeling on the floor. "Kamaria?" he said gently, wiping away tears.

"Samara!" she cried, clinging to Irvine's duster. "We-we were out in the backyard... ma-making somemore..." Kamaria took a deep breath, trying to calm down. She wiped her eyes and focussed on the circles Irvine was rubbing on her back. "We were in the backyard. Me, Samara and Ryuuja. Then suddenly they start clutching their heads and then Samara vanished into thin air! And Ryuuja was muttering about a Nightmare Overlord and how he wouldn't go and right before he passed out, he muttered 'Kalikai'... That's the name of the new red Nightmare that keeps to himself... He had something to do with Samara disappearing! I know he did!!"

"All right... Calm down," Irvine said soothingly, continuing to rub Kamaria's back. "Ah'll go look fer them. You take Ryuuja up ta his room. Put him ta bed and go wait in my room."

"You'll bring Samara home safe?" Kamaria asked as Irvine stood them both up. She loved her oldest sister and didn't want anything to happen to her.

"Ah'll bring her home safe. Ah give ya my word, darlin'." Irvine grinned and let go of the Deejarne. "You go do what Ah told yah and Ah'll be back as soon as Ah can," he said, checking Exeter over quickly before slipping out of the house.

"You had better, Irvine Kinneas," Kamaria muttered, wiping her eyes. She walked back into the backyard and picked up the unconscious form of Ryuuja. She carried him back inside and up the stairs, knowing that his room should be up on the top floor. She heard someone call her name and quickly turned, sliding a foot back in retreat. Her sister vanishing before her eyes had made her a bit paranoid.

"Kamaria? What's wr--" Greed caught sight of his son's unconscious form. "What happened!?" he asked, running over.

"I-I don't know... He just fell unconscious earlier..." Kamaria bit her lip. "And Samara vanished... But Irvine went to go find her. He said to lay Ryuuja down..."

Greed nodded and pushed open a nearby door. "Just put him down in here..." he gestured to the small nest of blankets himself and Ryuuja had made on the bed.

"Thanks," Kamaria gently set Ryuuja down on the bed. Despite him being a guy, her and Samara had made friends with the energetic blue Nightmare. It was just wrong to see him just laying there. He never seemed to stop moving. "Um..." Kamaria turned to Greed. "Do you know where Irvine's room is?"

"Down at the end of the hall," Greed pointed. "He told you to wait?" he smiled as Kamaria nodded. "Then don't worry. Irvine's good at what he does. He'll bring your sister back."

"Thanks," Kamaria whispered as Greed shut his door. She walked over to the door to Irvine's room and, taking another deep breath, pushed it open. There was nothing out of the ordinary inside, except maybe the guns hanging on the walls. All of them looked amazing and Kamaria wouldn't be surprised if they all worked as well. Smiling to herself, Kamaria sat down on the soft bed to wait. But the stress of the day and her worries had sapped her strength and she soon fell asleep.
