.Lake. "Hmph!" Lake replied vehemently, almost sulking, it seemed. "If she's gonna wander off on her own and...and ditch people...after...trying to eat them, then-!"
He perked slightly...then, without warning, he had disappeared completely from Becca's side, almost as if he had teleported himself...right on top of the bags of chips Agro had provided. There was a brief, half-hearted effort to tear open the plastic without ripping it, but this barely lasted more than a millisecond, and in his impatience and apparent, gung-ho desperation, Lake had devoured both the chips AND the bag, coughing and hacking a few times before pouncing on the second bag as well. Clearly, he was planning on eating that as well, completely ignorant of anyone else who might want it, like Becca.

Agro raised an eyebrow, a strange sight to see happen on a wolf's face. This kid was calling HIM a a dog. He thought it might be a good time to tell him he got some rather to fetch these for him. Which sounded a lot like bullying but, well, rats would basically do whatever you tell them. No offense to his little furry friends but, they're dumb like that. If a big animal tells you to do something, you do it. Also they were probably worried that if they didn't get him the food he asked for, he would somehow get into the vent and eat them. Really though, Agro's opinion of Lake went to 'Alright, but a bit thick' to ' What barn was this kid born in?'.

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards Becca's attention had wandered back to Lake, and then suddenly... he wasn't there. She was staring at the wall where he had been just a second before. Slowly, she glanced back toward the food pile, and felt herself frowning again.
"You know... Three bags means we could each get one, right? But hey, if you wanna be greedy I guess I won't stop you."
Or rather, she wasn't sure she could, judging by the way he was wolfing that one bag down. Didn't he know that the slower you ate, the less you could feel full on? Guess not...
Pouting a little, she wandered over toward the two, and satisfied herself by setting a hand upon the wolf's head and offering a little scratch. "Do you have magic food finding powers?" she wondered aloud. The bags had come out of nowhere! "Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. Lake hesitated, poised with the bag of chips ready to either be ripped apart and eaten off the floor or, in fact, simply gulped down bag and all without a moment's notice. He had caught the rather odd expression on the wolf's face, and as Becca spoke, his eyes had slid slowly over to her, mouth still open and ready to devour the snack.
"U-uh..." He paused again, looking down at the bag, and then, very reluctantly, he held it out to Becca instead. "S...sure. I was just...opening it for you."
He forced a toothy grin. He needed food, and bad - his body was screaming at him from all the energy and reserves he had lost by transforming...not once, in fact, but twice...an amount that was roughly equal to his not having eaten or slept for roughly a week. But then again...two bags of chips would not do much. He knew that, right now, he could eat enough food to fill six full grown men and still not be sated.
So, surely, one bag of chips wouldn't make a difference.
"N...no problem," he forced out again, relatively creepy smile still in place as he gave the bag to Becca. There was no forth bag; he supposed Agro didn't expect the crazy panther lady to come back either, then. "U-uh...good job, talking pooch. G-godspeed."

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards Becca gave Lake a rather doubtful look at his reply. Opening it for her? Ha! A likely story. Still, she shuffled a little closer as he held it out, her nose lightly wrinkled as she glanced it over for slober or drool. Then, gingerly, her fingers plucked it from his hand, holding the bag up closer before herself, and staring mostly past it back toward Lake.
"Are you sure? You kinda look like you might need it more, maybe." But as she spoke, she grasped both sides, and slowly tugged the bag open, careful not to spill any.
"You don't sound very sure either... If you really want it, you can have it. I don't want anyone starving to death on my account!" Slowly, she extended the open bag back toward him. "Just don't choke to death." "Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. Lake scowled, although it almost looked closer to a pout, and turned his nose up at her. She thought she could guilt him into giving her HIS food, and then, once he complied, give it right back?
How inconsiderate.
"I don't want it," he said stubbornly, folding his arms...still with his nose in the air. "And I won't starve to death!" He'd tried. "Just quit bugging me!"

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards "...if you say so," Becca replied after a short silence of staring, her eyes taking in his form. After a moment, she decided to just go ahead. She'd offered, and even helped by opening it for him, since he didn't seem to know how. But, if he refused...
She reached in, plucking out a chip and began eating them one at a time, stepping back a little as if to avoid being jumped if he changed his mind. She glanced down toward the wolf again, then back at Lake, before finally turning to stare down the hallway.
"So after this... What're we doing? Your friend wandered off a while ago." "Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. "She's not my friend!" Lake repeated crabbily, folding his arms. "I don't know what the hell you people are doing, but I'm doing exactly what I've been doing all along, which is trying to find a way out of this dump!"
Wonder what happened to her. Did she just not want to come back? Or...did something happen?
He sighed and slumped against the wall, rubbing his temple. "Hey. Kid. Make sure you work on that teleporter thing, huh? There're a lot of people who want out of this place...you may be their only hope."

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards "Oh, well good luck with that," Becca replied casually, while munching away on her chip bag. But as Lake continued after his pause, she seemed to stiffen, her eyes widening a little as she gave him a quiet, blank stare.
"..."
Only hope? She didn't like the sound of that.
"Y.. y-yeah..."
She squirmed a little, then turned away, back suddenly to him as she lowered her head over the chip bag, focusing on nothing in particular. "Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. Lake huffed and flopped down on the floor with his back against the wall...he didn't feel like standing up any more. He was tired and hungry, and no one was doing anything useful, like looking for a way out. Or MOVING.
...Stupid panther girl. Wandering off on her own.
Urgh. Everything's blurry...
"You two really haven't run into anything that's tried to kill you yet?" he grunted, looking between them. "Well...except for the panther kid, that is." He supposed that, if they had run into someone like the Iron Giant or the scaly man, there was a good chance they wouldn't be standing around talking right now. "...How long have you been awake for?"

God these two. Becca was a cute enough kid and he supposed that Lake was funny in a weird way, but he'd like to have a conversation with someone who had their head screwed on a bit tighter. He feared he would never have this conversation. Though while he was thinking about other people around here, he remembered a panther girl who's been fairly absent. " I'm gonna go ah, check on our feline friend." He half mumbled, nose to ground to follow the scent. Once he had made his way to the room, he cleared his throat and asked how she was doing in there. " You alright in there? Is it okay to come in?" A small grey creature set another bad of snacks near the wolf and scurried back to a hole in the wall.
"I got food. Freash! Kinda." Truly they were living like kings.

ĸıɍą ☆ Ƥıēřċǝ_________________________☓☓☓Still frantically searching around the floor, Kira nearly jolted out of her skin as a voice spoke from the doorway. She let out a small yelp and lurched upwards, hand jerking to tug the sweatshirt further down while her other checked to make sure it was fully zipped up.
Finally, she nodded and turned toward the door, sitting upon the floor where she'd been searching. "Y-yes, it's okay," she called back, her voice a little shaky.
She looked flustered, half-panicked even, and as soon as she realized it was the wolf, she started looking around again. "Did.. the others leave?" she asked meekly, her cheeks flushed red at the company. ♥ ☓ ♥

" They're chatting back where I left em. The girl is a ditz and the guy is a dog and I can't quite handle them at the same time." He said, still outside, he picked up the snack bag and with flick of his head he tossed it to her. " I'm guessing your clothes are all torn up from the transforming? That'd make sense." He then bit at his right front leg for a second and sat down. The girl seemed a bit flustered, which, given the circumstances it was impressive she wasn't having some kind of breakdown. " Maybe we could find you a pair of scrubs or something. I get the feeling that this is some kind of abandoned...medical facility." His first thought was to say asylum, but that didn't seem wise. Especially to the half naked distraught panther girl.

.Lake. Lake scoffed. "Fine, don't answer me..." he muttered at Agro's retreating back. He wouldn't be opposed to the wolf fetching Kira back, just so long as she didn't try to eat anybody...but he was far too lazy to follow. That, and his chest was really starting to ache...after all, he still had a hole through it, under his coat. He expected it was healing, but that would take a day or two. It still hurt, anyway...and coupled with his hunger and fatigue, it was making him not want to move at all, ever.
"What about you?" he muttered to Becca, though he was mostly asking now to distract himself from his discomfort. "When did you wake up?"

ĸıɍą ☆ Ƥıēřċǝ_________________________☓☓☓It was strange talking to a wolf as a human. As a panther, it'd seemed more natural. Just two animals chatting. But now...
Kira kept silent at first, eyes still roaming along the padded, ripped flooring, ripped further from her search. She hadn't been able to find it. "Yeah, I guess they'd want to avoid me after I... tried attacking them..." She trailed off, sighing quietly as her head slumped, her fingers absently brushing across her eyes. She tried to make the movement appear casual, but had a feeling she'd failed.
She glanced up again as she heard the chips land beside her, her eyes widening a little in surprise before she cautiously reached out and picked it up. If he'd tossed it, he must be offering... and she was starving, especially after changing.
Tearing it open, she started eating as she considered his next words. "Y-yeah..." she agreed quietly, noting the pause but letting it pass. Cautiously, with obvious concern, she stood up with one hand in place to hold her sweatshirt down. "I'd rather find something sooner than later..." ♥ ☓ ♥
