Hey guys for the sake of the event, can you not do a trivia section this time around? There'll be lots of trivia throughout the event.

I can still write for the August issue. Tina, can you post the HM this month or am I posting it again?
Any ideas for another article to replace Just for Fun this month? Maybe an article about the event?

So, so far we have the following:
ToC
Event Piece (About Quidditch)
Birthdays
Ask the Elf
Recipe
Wizarding World Past Events (I think this one will be okay to do.)
MotM
Note from Editor
Around Hogwarts
AND possibly another book review (I have to talk to Stephanie.)
If she can that would make 10 and we need 12. So, since we aren't doing Just for Fun, due to the Event, maybe Lyra or Amber or anyone else that's willing, could do Horoscopes. That would leave one spot and we could make it an Meet a Mod. What do all of you think of this game plan?

I like that idea you just brought up, Tina. (At least, I think this is sort of what you meant.) We could split up Meet the Mods and have an article about one Mod each month for the next few months.
Also, I don't really have time to take over horoscopes; sorry.

What does everyone think about splitting up Meet the Mods so that we do one each month?

Hmm.. we can definitely do a Meet the Mods article for August, but I think we should go back to the Member of the Month when term begins.
I say this because 2/5 members of the Mod Squad were chosen as Member of the Month a few months ago.

That's true. I think the plan was to have both Member of the Month and Meet the Mods for August (and possibly the next few issues). I suppose we could just have one or the other, but then we'd still need another article for August.
We could:
- Get rid of the idea of Meet the Mods completely
- Put a Meet the Mods section in the next 3 articles, about the 3 mods who haven't yet been Member of the Month
- Create an interview with different questions (from the Member of the Month one) and interview all of the mods (one each month).

Okay so in order of everyone posting, here we go....
@Lyra:
I think we should keep Meet the Mods for whenever a month like this comes around and we don't have a lot of our usual writers. So, after this next issue, I think we should kind of put it back on the back burner. We may need it again for the September Issue, who knows. So, we could just write something to the effect of, "Keep your eyes peeled for the next installment of "Meet the Mods" in a coming Issue of The Hogwarts Monthly." That way we only use it when we have to because, I think it's a really good idea and I don't want to use them all at once.

@Amber:
Thanks! That would help a lot. The website that I was using then gave to the other Star is here in the thread, a couple pages back. You you could read that real quick that would help a lot.
@Lyra:
I'll write the Event Article. I like doing the Events.
Yes, I'll be doing the Wizarding World Past Events too.
With Amber doing the Horoscopes for this coming issue and Meet the Mods, we should have 12 on the dot if I can get ahold of Stephanie to do her usual book review.

Well the questions in "Meet the Mods" and the questions for "Member of the Month" would be different. I don't foresee a problem.
@Lyra:
I think we should stick with what we have got right now. That is, if we use different questions, as I said to Adonis.
@Everyone:
Which Mods should we "Interview" for the August Issue?
Also, I'm going to PM Icee and Stephanie right now to straighten out the details.
