Peppy Lemur Teka extended his good arm, "I intended on finding you, but I suppose this works too." Teka thought for a moment, then gave Sortai a serious look, "Hey...You wouldn't happen to still have that book I gave to you, do you?" (Sorry for the long delay between posts, but it's the Holidays. I'VE BEEN BUSY! scream ) (havn't we all peppy? Havn't we all? *starts to cry* It's so hard, you know?!*a magical flask of something alcholic appears in hand and chuggs deeply* You-you know Pep-py *puts arm arround shoulders and leans on peppy(hoorrible horrible grammer!!!)*I love you!) (don't you love it when you just feel like going on a drunken rage, or just going drunken?)

Varian watched as the massive mountain appeared from over the ridge. "Look..." he said pointing at a hole in the side. "There is the entrance."
Regius flew alongside Seth and looked out across the plains below them. "So, you followed Cthulhu for how long Seth?" he asked.
Vainquisher looked Turmion. Speak son of my predecessors. Something troubles you. He said inside the dragons mind.

Wht troubles me is the fact that the human I am bound to chooses to serve the rebels. Turmion said with a growl as his yellow eyes flashed towards Vanquisher. Seth was silent. "You knew me, Regius. I was obsessed with power. My mother showed me the light."

Sortai's head turned, and once more his hand flashed for the nonexistant sword at his side. And yet there now sat a blade... The sword Regius had given im. He drew it and pushed himself up with the aid of a tree. "Mmm hmm. So you're the one after my friend?" He said. A half smirk appeared on his face. "That's fine. Too bad you're outnumbered."

Leonardo laughed heartily, "Oh? While that may be true, I hardly think that its a problem. Seeing as Teka can't use a weapon, and you've been recently injured...I believe I can hold my own against the both of you." Leonardo fumbled with something in the pocket of his cloak. "Hm? What have you done now, Teka? I don't think I gave you permission to resist. Just remove that mask and let's get rid of this pest, shall we?" Teka glanced at Sortai, then back at Leonardo. He sighed, and stepped forward. He then undid the buckle on his glove, "If you insist, I'll give you what you wanted all along." Leonardo smiled, "Ah, so you intend on using it against me? I'm assuming you've been practicing?" Teka smiled, "No, but who's to say I need to?" Leonardo smiled, "I wish you'd just do as I say. It'd make things so much easier for the two of us." Teka removed the glove revealing his mutated hand. The skin was pitch black, and his fingers were replaced by claws almost eight inches in length. "Try me." He looked back at Sortai, "I'd rather you sit this one out. There's no need for you fight in your current condition."

Sortai felt a sense of duty, but he doubted he'd be much help. He still felt the great rip Cthulhu had placed in his chest, however healed, and decided it would be best. "While I'm not helpless, I agree." He stepped backwards a bit, eyes remaining on Teka's hand for only a few moments. He had after all seen crazier things. "I can assume you know what you're doing, so I think it would be safe to let you work this one solo."
As the silence of the skies was broken by the wingbeats of Lightning and Thunder, another more rushed beat is heard. Rising above the clouds atop a black dragon sat Arcturus. He smiled as they came before the two dragons. "Your presence is unwanted here. Leave before I take your lives."

Thunder banked right sharply at the same time Lightning banked left sharply. They flew around their attacker and continued on as if nothing had happened.

Meesha looked at the cave trying to find her brother's magik aura. "That's where he is?"
Lamkit jumped into Mesha's cloak and shivered, "I feel a great power from that cave."
ANdrec felt his sister geting closer, he also felt a presence of a deamon with her.

Regius shifted slightly as he saw the mountian. "Seth, we are going in there to get something." he said and turned to Seth, a horrible grin on his face. "Since i no longer have Tek with me, you'll have to do." He laughed adn drew his sword. "I come for you sister!! Nothing you cna do will stop me!"
Varian helped Meesha off the ox. "We have to move on foot from here..." he paused as he thought he heard someone yell. He looked up and his keen yeyes caught the sight of two dragons flying toward the mountian. He immediately recognised Vainquisher. "Regius is almost there. We have to move." he said as he started towards the looming mountian.
Etria smiled almost to pleasantly. "Andrec, go and meet our two guest at the cave entrance." She ordered, and turned to the vault door. "Soon..."

Teka frowned, "I only wished I knew what I was doing." He extended his arm, directing it at Leonardo. It quickly shifted into a large axe, at which Teka looked at dissatisfied. Leonardo raised a brow, "So the Zilophos gave you an ability similar to mine. I never would've expected it to fuse with you in such a way." Leonardo did the same as Teka and made his hand into an axe. "I wish I had known sooner; it would help Vekli so much more than trying to find a substitute guinea pig. So far, we've only had success with a couple people. It's not easy finding a suitable host for the Zilophos." Teka swung at Leonardo, clearly missing his mark. He tried again, only to have his weapon get stuck in the trunk of a tree. "b*****d! And just how many attempts have you made in your search?" Leonardo didn't make a move to harm Teka while he was immobilized. "Oh, we've been trying ever since you've left. We've been through just a few small towns, but that doesn't matter. Now that I've found you, we can continue right where we left off. "Like hell we will!" Teka removed his axe from the tree, and went straight for Leonardo's head. Leonardo blocked the blow with his axe, smiling, "You know, you'd probably be more skilled with this ability if you'd had stayed with us." Teka broke off, leaping back, "I wouldn't have this damn burden if it wasn't for your obsession with the suffering of others!" Leonardo frowned, "Now, Teka, 'obsession' is such a hurtful word. Let's call it a hobby.

Sortai listened intently to the conversation, all the while gripping his sword tighter. This man was passionately admitting to doing something horrible, using humans as guinea pigs for something called the 'Zilophos'. Sortai had also gathered that he had somehow caused Teka to assume this strange new shape. His teeth gritted as a pang of pain hit his chest. "Damnit..." He said as his eyes closed tight and his chest felt as if it had burst open. He fell over into the mud as his grip on the sword slackened. He became suddenly without movement.
Arcturus sensed the drop in Sortai's energy, and pinpointed his location. "Take care of them." He said and leapt down from the sky.

"Don't think I don't know what you mean." He growled as they began to descend. "I'll only do it if you bring back... Celeste." He said, his voice dropping when he said his late wife-to-be's name.
"Gerovf." Sunahr said as they flew. "Can you locate this Leonardo we seek?"
Idarkoth was silent as he and Ze'tes flew over the sea. He knew now the truth and once they returned to Jiyea would have to warn everyone. This meant all their efforts against Cthulhu were pointless...
"Be calm, Idarkoth, young one." Ze'tes said as she hugged the dragon tight while flying. "He won't get away with this." Idarkoth snorted. "I can only hope you're right..."

Teka looked back to see Sortai collapse, "Sortai!" Leonardo took advantage of this moment and kicked Teka in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. "Is this want you want, Teka? To wind up like your friend here?" Leonardo shook his head, "This world is changing into something that will not take kindly to the weak. And yet, here you stand; blessed with this power that you can't seem to figure out what to do with it." He returned his hand to normal, and then gave Teka a serious gaze, "I'll ask again, Teka... Will you return? To where you belong?" Teka pushed himself off the ground, spiting out the bit of blood that had flowed into his mouth, "You just don't get it, do you? This isn't a blessing...It's driving me to the point of insanity!" Leonardo let a sly grin cover his face once more, "Mere side effects. Our other subjects had the same problem. What is it, blood lust?" Uncontrollably, Teka's axe shifted into a long blade, but Teka preferred it to an axe. He swung again at Leonardo, who caught the weapon in his gauntlet. "Mere side effects?! I killed a man who had done nothing wrong! All because this damn thing you seem so happy about!" Teka pulled his weapon back, "Yeah, this world's changing alright. But it's because of people like you that it's nothing good." Leonardo sighed, "I can see that your friend there has gotten to you. I'll leave you for now, but when I come back around, I want to see the old you; like you were in Navali." He tossed a small bottle with a purple liquid inside. "This should suppress those urges you seem to despise." Teka caught the bottle, not taking his eyes off of Leonardo. "If you come back, I can't guarantee that you'll live." Leonardo simply shrugged and turned. He changed into his usual raven form, then took off.
