Mr.Meow I think that picture is referring to an Eldar warlock if I'm correct. It has a 4 toughness for some unknown reason.

I saw it yesterday Honda, I'll check around for it.

He is away from Christmas, I think I posted that some where. He will be on soon. Probably the next day or so.

Well, Pink Rock Pink don't worry about being forgotten or anything. You had already stated you had problems, and we all thought we'd just let it run it's course. If you ever find the time your always welcome back here.

By the way Stelth, and well everyone else, I was in fact away for Christmas about 2 weeks or so, sorry about that. I'm sure we all had our Christmas problems.

One more thing, Mr. Meow I believe Dart ment a Farseer, which have a 4 Toughness, which is bull. What they should do is go ahead and keep the Farseer's toughness 4, keep the Witch Hunters cruddy power armour a 3+, and just improve the space marines to wear they should be.

For example, since there is no real topic here I'll just throw it in.
Personally I noticed that everytime I get unlucky, get shot by a lasgun and fail an armour save, especially while in Tactical Dreadnough armour, the most ancient and revered of the imperium, I get "upset."
However, that can not be changed, no 1+ should be rewarded I admit, but getting shot up by guardsmen with plasma guns is not delight either. Dart had a fancy idea of re-rolls or something but heres one thing I seriously thing would make sense. (at more points however.)

Although Terminator Armour provides a 2+ save, 2 AP weapons such as Plasma Guns should not punch through it. AP1 weapons however still should, but AP 2 weapons should still leave you with your Armour save.
I don't know...

Indeed...I agree about the armour save thing...

Yes, thank you Mathis.
I'm just sick of Plasma Pistols downing my veterans of Centuries in battle. stare
Well, not that I'm also not all for Terminators increasing wounds. 1 wound? Come one, actually this is a quote I strongly believed in, and Dart actually found it almost exactly in the rulebook.

What Space Marine, especially a Terminator, do you think is honestly going to go down after one Lasgun shot somehow penetrates his armour? Exactly from the "BBB" itself, a Space Marine will not go down untill he is completely, and utterly destroyed. It takes alot to do that, therefore, it should take alot to really rumble a Marine. Of course I'm not saying that this shouldn't call for a larger sum of points per Marine/Terminator, but I just want the realism of these giants to step up.

Yes, the they really need to change some things around. I think that a terminator and space marines should get to take two armor saves. Their cost should be increased but to show their much better power armor, and toughness. So I take one hit form a lasgun I should get to roll to armor saves against it. As long as I pass one my marine is saved.

As much as I agree with you and as much as it pisses me off to see my terminators who have ruled planets and worshiped chaos for centuries, You gotta think about it...GW can't make our Marines invincible. As much as they should be we would dominte every race, which in fact does usually happen in BL...but whatever...

Heh, trust me Mathis, that is not invinicble...you haven't seen Dart and Mine's invincible marines. wink
Although improvments, they deffinately deserve. Maybe not to that extent (although with fair points that would works.) but you know what I mean. I wouldn't be angry if I only fielded 5 Grey Knights in a 1,500 point games, I seriously wouldn't, as long as it properly represented thier power.

(Yes, Mathis...although Grey Knights are more expensive then thier fellow marines, I did not mean to sound like I meant that Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines stay the same whilst Grey Knights increase greatly in stats...in 1,500 points, if Grey Knights were bringing 5 Space Marines would be bringing 6. (This goes for CSM too.)

Anyway, don't feel too "new" Dryfolius, I myself have only been playing 7 months or so, however I do believe I am playing alot more points than you. Money troubles too?
Eck, money...GamesWorkshop... sad
