"Well i don't have a tent or any large sheets of waterproof material. So i'm buggered for a tent." He said chuckeling aloud. "All i have is a military issue waterproof poncho."

"I guess we better hope it don't rian then otherwise we might get a tad wet." Elliotte chuckled. "We'll have to take it in shifts to keep watch I think, I'd rather have warning if one if those things are coming our way."

"Ok." He said nodding at Lea. "I'll take the second shift then."
Moving his bag so it was some sort of makeshift pillow he layed down and rested his head on it. As the early dusk light drew on and the overcast sky turned black, he slowly started nodding in and out of sleep. Hearing the distant screems and shrills of either man or beast kept him from fully falling asleep.

"OK" Elliotte said as she loved back slightly and lent againts the wall. "I'll take the third shift then." She smiled.
Elliotte closed her eyes in a bid to try and sleep, although she knew already that she would not. But after about half hour She found herself drifting in and out of sleep.

Lea sighed and grabbed somthing to keep her up, a small rubiks cube. She twisted it and turned it, looking up every few turns to look around and see if anything was coming. She had almost an entire side done when she heard somthing in the bushes. She looked up and saw them rustle. She stood up, grabbing her small hand gun-knowing it probably wouldn't stop whatever it was in the bushes, but was hoping that the gunfire would wake the others. She krept over to the bushes, took a deep breath and looked inside to find a squirell. She breathed a sigh of relief, glad to see a Normal animal and went back to her bags and rubiks cube.
(Eh heh heh, I wrote alot for somthing un-eventful.)

As Elliotte drifted in and out of sleep, she herd Lea sigh. Opening her eyes, she watched her walk back to her bag. "Everything OK Lea?" She asked still half asleep.

Catching the end of a conversation between Lea and one of the others there as he drifted once again out of sleep. Flickering his eyes open he looked up at the pitch black sky above and imagined he could see stars. That for once there wasn't a continuous cloud cover that let only enough light through to determin the difference between night and day. But barely.
As he lay there picturing the sky covered in stars in his mind he once again drifted off into sleep.

"OK" Elliotte said sleeply as she closed her eyes again. But not falling back to sleep, as she kept her eyes closed she slowly started to wake.
After a little while Elliotte was wide awake, which didnt suprise her as it happend that often, she opend her eyes and starded up at the sky. Well clouds as it had been for a long while, wishing she could see the stars

Lea started dozing off and glanced at her watch, only to see how long she'd been patroling. [i['Midnight.' she thought. She'd been patroling for about an hour and a half. She did some quick math and decided it might be best to start moving at around 6. 'I can go another hour, then I'll wake up Higeshi to do his shift.'

Elliotte still laid on the floor staring up, starts getting uncomfortable. She pulls herself up into a seated position and moves back up againts the wall leaning on it, then she turns to her bag, opens it and gets out a bottle of water and starts drinking.

After some time staring up at the darkness above them, Higeshi had managed to fall asleep. Dreaming quietly with his head propped against his bag.

Lea looked over and saw Elliotte awake "Can't sleep?" she asked softly, so as to not wake Higeshi.
