Anna leaned her ear against the door, trying to listen for anything. "Anna," Merlin sighed. "Don't you think it's about time to start dinner? I'll keep my ear on the boy."
"Not literally, right?"
"No, not this time anyways."

Hotaru was still, breathing inaudible. "So that's the trick.....bit flashy......but a weapon's a weapon...." He stood up, held his right arm out, letting the keychain dangle. "Well....here gos......" He muttered. he then started casting fire using the keychain as the target. "Please don't explode....I'm really tired of going flying...." He sighed as he let the spell go.
As he did so, the room lit up, a red orange glow could be seen from outside the windows, and under the door.

Merlin looked at the door and could see the orange glow from the cracks. He started banging on the door and shouting something about what he has doing and this wouldn't help him heal. It attracted the attention of Anna away from the kitchen.
"What's going on, Merlin? And didn't we leave that door unlocked?"

The glow faded slowly. Leaving Hotaru standing in the center. "Well....that was interesting......" he held his right arm out again. "So, spell check.....now to....." "Who'd have thought I'd get a keyblade that naps......." He sighed and started walking over to the door. "Zero Chance....." He muttered, causing the keyblade to materialize.
As he opened the door, he smirked. "See Merlin, I didn't do anything to harm anything." He stepped aside, letting him see the room. In the center, was his keyblade. White bandage cloth wrapped around the hilt, long enough to keep the charm company. It was longer than Sora's keyblade, colored black, with flecks of red orange littering the blade. "So, now that you see I've left everything the way it was, I think I'll be taking a nap...." He walked over to the window seat, and laid down.

Both Anna and Merlin searched the room with their eyes. They came to the center where the keyblade was. Anna squatted down to get a closer look. "So here one is. Never thought I would see one quite like this," Anna commented.
"Not getting any buried cravings, are we Anna?" Merlin asked. Anna shot him a dirty look and then slid her gaze over to Hotaru, who was either asleep or still falling, she couldn't.
"They didn't brainwash me," she whispered to Merlin, "Just trained."

His keyblade disappeared, the charm reappearing attached to his sleeve again. He then rolled onto his side, moonlight shinning on him, showing his face held nothing but the peaceful expression accompanied by sleep.

Anna walked over to Hotaru and tenderly stroked a strain of hair from his face, smiling at his expression.
"What's going on between you two?" Merlin asked. Anna sighed.
"Nothing to be worried about."
"Nothing to be worried about? That fact that you guys are in the same town is worrisome! You know how dangerous it is for you!" Anna sighed.
"Well then, maybe I should just move! Since keyblade wielders seem to be drawn here like months to a flame!"
"You know you're safe as long as you live under my roof, but getting involved with Hotaru? Especially now! That's not only dangerous for you, it's dangerous for him!"
"I know! I know!" she sighed as she fell into a chair next to the window seat. She look back at him sleeping and mumbled. "But he's different. It's not easy."

He moved slightly closer at her touch, and then mumbled something incoherent before stretching out and reaching for something. After his movements subsided, he started snoring quietly.

"Think he heard us?" Anna asked still looking at Hotaru.
"If he did he would think it a dream, but still, this isn't the best place to continue a conversation. Let's let him sleep, see how he's doing in the morning."

He rolled over onto his other side, just as his stomach rumbled. "mmm.....foooood......" He muttered, still sound asleep. "not yuffie........food...."

Anna smiled. "Guess I should have taken cooking lesson from Harold, not Yuffie, huh?"
"Yes! Now who is this Harold?" Merlin asked. Anna gave a light laugh.
"No one to concern yourself with. Just an old friend."
"An old friend whose identify is..?"
"I'd prefer to keep it there, Merlin. I like to keep somethings separated from this crazy life. I'll go into the kitchen and make something to eat."

Leon walked in with Yuffie in tow, missing the conversation between Anna and Merlin, and stopped to look at Hotaru."Wow.....who'd have thought he'd actually sleep like a normal person..... he turned his attention to Merlin. "So....does he have a keyblade then?"
Yuffie looked between Merlin and Leon. "KEYBLADE?! You mean like Sora?! That jerk?! No way Leon....." she practically shouted. She then looked at Anna and smiled. "They're joking right? I mean he's to.........mean to get a keyblade, right?"

"Appears he's a lot nicer than you give him credit for," Anna said. "Because he defiantly has one." Merlin nodded in agreement.
"We say it earlier," Merlin said. "After he made me think he set my house on fire."

Leon just nodded, then gave a sigh. "Right....I'll have Cid contact King Mickey to let him know we've got a wielder.......set your house on fire........."He gave a sigh.
Yuffie just stood there. "Wow.....maybe it just got confused or something......oh well.....least this means he wont be able to criticize my cooking anymore. She stuck her tongue out at the sleeping Hotaru, who managed to mumble something about charred spaghetti.
