So. Your soul is out there? Just walking around? Without a body? While you go around without a soul? Just like any other person? And that's why I saw so many life times within you?

Ontaros nods "He doesn't have a traditional body, he lives so to speak within the elements, he typically makes a body of earth and water when he interacts with the rest of the world. He uses what he studies as a simulacrum for what is missing, just like I do, if that makes any sense... but yes, as the ages have passed my appearance changes with the times. And I'll meet them again when I'm ready I suppose, but I try to keep in mind the fact that sometimes the powers that be give us things that were only meant to stay with us for a time and when that time is up we can't be so selfish as to try holding onto it forever."

Ontaros nods once more "Indeed I do, and I would risk my life to protect her too, don't misunderstand me. But like everyone else she will also pass on. I can't stop that inevitability though, that's just how things are. Her goddess will eventually have need for her and when that time arrives I would expect her to follow her path, just as I follow mine. She will have spent her whole life in service to her goddess to be ready to serve her in the afterlife. I can't ask Luhara to wait because of what I want, and I can't ask Silver to turn her back on her destiny. We enjoy the time spent with one another, and at least for me, that's enough."

Zejx slowly opened his eyes, blinking a few times in the process. It took him a few moments to realize that he was no longer in the Halls of Fate. He was now back in the bedroom, in his bed with Tyera and Ontaros in the room. He looked to Ontaros, then to Tyera. "How long was I out?"

Zejx slowly sat up and put his free hand across his face. "I have a slight headache but I think I'm okay." He slowly lowered his hand as his eyes widened a bit, the memory of what he did flowing through his head. "So... It's done then. The Fallen are no longer a threat to us." But they had also been friends and family. Even though they had already defeated them, for some reason this time felt worse. They were truly gone this time. He lowered his head and closed this eyes.

It may have been the right thing, but it sure didn't feel like it. There must have been a better way. If only he would have had time to think, then he could have found it. There had to be a way to save them. But it didn't matter now did it? They were already gone. He looked up at her and gave a half smile, then returned his gaze to the bed.

With his head to one side Ontaros asks the two of them "So, what is our next move? You bought yourself some time against the corruption and I'm sure it wont be long now for my team to bring you further along, but all the time in the world wont do any good if it doesn't mean something. How do we go about bringing law to Chaos?"

"I... I don't know. It's now obvious that his strength isn't something to be taken lightly. I hit him with everything I had and he didn't even flinch." Zejx looked up to Ontaros. "I'd say we have a better change making ice in the center of hell at this point." He lowered his head slightly and seemed to kinda zone out. "And that was before he had time to use the chronos sphere. By now he has returned his power to where it was before Zackatosha weaken him."

And then there was Zackatosha. Tyera tried to keep her face neutral, but she felt bad for him. Had he come to his end? After all this time... what had happened to him? She was sad Zejx had never gotten to meet him. If she had a vision that might reasure her that he was alright, but she couldn't make one happen unless she... Her eyes fell on her hands and stayed locked there.
She was so hung up on these things that she couldn't think of what would or should happen next<<
