Ella smiled. "See? It's not difficult, it just requires alot of muscle control to keep it that way for lengthy time periods. If you try and stay that way through the whole ride, you will be sore later..." She said. "It takes a while to build up the muscle, but it's worth it." She said, keeping herself collected.
Vivian smiled. "Good job! Now, just don't expect her to stay like that. It will take a while for her muscles to build up and get used to it, then it just becomes second nature." She said, then asked Ella to move into her collected trot.
Ella responded, trotting ahead of Pancake and Amy. Ella moved with awe-striking grace and poise, enough to make a swan feel like nothing. She kept herslef collected and her pace fluid and easy, making sure to stay suspended. Her long forelock fell in front of her star and eyes, giving a very wild and regal appearance.
Vivian stayed erect on her amre's back as she trotted gracefully. She was a true joy to ride and it felt like she was riding on water, Ella's movements were so fluid.

Pancake slowed to a walk shaking her head. "I see...their already starting to get sore." Pancake said.
Amy nodded and laughed. "Look's like Pancake is sore already. C'mon girl let's catch up." Amy said giggling as the appy bobbed her head and collected herself, Amy following her instructions. Nudging, Pancake's flanks, she moved into a medium trot, staying a little to the side of Ella.

Vivian them smiled a bit mischeviously. "You wanna flaunt a bit, girl?" She asked her mare. She tightened her grip on the reins and shortened them a bit more, squeezing her sides a bit more than she was currently.
Ella snorted and also smiled. "You bet." She said, then moved into a natural high-step trot, her head held high and collected, increasing her speed slightly. Her legs gracefully picked up high in the air to an unsounding tempo, her long ebony tail flowing out behind her.

Pancake's eyes wided. It was amazing what Ella was doing. "Wow." was all Pancake could say under her breath.
Amy stared in amazement. She had never done dressage before. "How in the world do you do that?" Amy asked, her mouth dropping.

Ella kept herself concentrated on her high-stepping. She held her tail high as she and Vivian finished once around the arena.
Vivian laughed. "Years of practice! Trust me, she didn't learn this over night!" She called back to Amy as Ella carried her around the arena once more. Once they had completed their second pass, Vivian slowed her into a collected walk and came up next to Amy and Pancake. "I can have her dance for you. Do you have an iPod speaker, or something like that?" She asked Amy.

Amy laughed. "So won't Pancake!" Amy said patting the mare. She nodded. "Yep. Wich song would you like?" Amy asked moving Pancake into a collected trot over to the speaker, Pancake stopping a few times.

Vivian thought for a second. "I know she's got a great beat to 'Please don't stop the Music' by Rhianna...She loves dancing to that one... or 'Our Friend Lazarus Sleeps' By I Am Ghost...she loves danding to that one too...either one works, you choose." She said, trotting after Pancake and Amy, loosening her reins so the mare could relax before she began working again and handing Amy her iPod.
Ella pranced over to Pancake, breathing a bit hard, but nothing she wasn't used to after high-stepping. Her ears pricked forward when she saw the speakers. "Ooh goodie, dance time!" She said, prancing excitedly.
((Tell me if you need to hear those songs to pick one, I can find them. But for now, I have to go to bed. I'll be on tomorrow!))

(Ok. Good-night. I think I'll hit the hay also. I got lessons tomorow.))
"Ok sure. Please don't stop the music good?" Amy asked taking the Ipod from Viv's hand and plugging it into the speaker. Switching to threw the songs, she searched for please don't stop the music. Playing it, she paused it and backed it up. "Ready?" Amy asked patting Pancake quickly on the neck.
Pancake laughed. "So me what you got!" Pancake said grining.
Casey came out of the tack room, holding her chestnut english saddle. Walking over to Bandet's stall, she slid the door open. Looking out of his stall she laughed. "Let me geuss? Pepper rolled?" Case said grining as she looked at Alex and Pepper, Pepper bobbing her head. Alex grined as he started to hose her down. "Yeah...what did you except?" He said laughing.

Things later on that day were sad and slow, since Kody was looking after Dingo who had caught his paw in the bear trap chasing a fox, Whitney and Sadie had helped carry him back to the house. Frisk and Shivana were right beside the whole way, worried for their friend. The rest of that day was spent back at the house in some silence, when Kody had calmed down enough. Sadie awoke the next morning, feeling not too bad, but her head kinda hurt. Stretching herself as she got out of bed and dressed into a pair of white jeans, a blue t-shirt and some make-up, she sighed while heading out of the room, immediately calling Shivana and went out towards the stable to see Queenie. Once at her stall, Sadie smiled while opening the door and walking in. "Hey girl.....how are ya doing? Are ya hungry?" Queenie snorted and shook her head in reply to 'yes I am quite hungry, please feed me....' Sadie walked out of the stall, making sure Shivana kept an eye on Queen before going and preparing her food for the morning.
Once she got that done and ready, Sadie headed back to Queenie's stall and filled up her trough, the mare immediately nickering happily before digging into the oats, barley and hay. Giving her a quick pat on the neck, Sadie walked out, motioning Shiva to follow which she immediately did before closing the stall door. Kody hadn't slept in the past few hours of the night, he was worried about Dingo, who was under some sedation and painkillers. His paw was all wrapped up as he lay there, looking dead. Petting him gently, he decided to go and take Spot for a ride. Standing as he walked out of the house, he ran towards the stable. Once entering he gave Sadie a kiss on the lips and a 'good morning' before going and opening Spot's stall door. He was immediately greeted by the stallion who nudged him happily, nickering. "Good morning Spot....did ya sleep well? cause I sure as hell didn't....." Kody said patting his neck as Spot nickered sadly and nudged Kody again. Sighing softly, he grabbed the halter and slipped it on, as well as the lead rope and lead him out of the stall and into the crossties. Grabbing the tools he began grooming Spot.
Once Kody was finished grooming, he tacked up Spot and then unhooked him from the crossties. Leading him out into the arena, Kody mounted the horse then took out his Ipod and put it to the song of 'Numb' by Linkin Park. Clicking his tongue and giving Spot a quick but gentle kick at his flanks, he sent the stallion into a small gallop. Staying behind Vivan and her horse.

Seeing Kody enter the ring, she gave a quick wave and a smile to him. Amy sat in her saddle next to the cd player waiting for the command to play the song for Viv and Ella. Glad that Pancake was standing patiently she gave her another quick pat. Ginger sat on the fence watching the horses carefully. She meowed loudly to Pancake, sending the mare's ears forwards and nickering happily, glad to see her friend.
Case laughed, as she stroked Bandit with her free hand shaking her head. "Good luck cleaning her." Case said as she swung the saddle onto Bandit's back. His chestnut bridle was already on with his black horse boots. Case tied the breastplate, and made sure the stirrips were the right length she grabbed the reins and led him out of his stall, giggling seeing Alex soaping Pepper down. She led Bandit down the isle and over to the ring, his hooves clicking at each step he took. Opening the gate door Case led Bandit into the ring. Making sure her saddle was tightend enough, she swung into the saddle. Waving to Amy, Viv and Kody she started to warm the gelding up.

Let's go for a ride Lex said smiling at Nic before getting Star from her stall and taking off her sheet and hanging it up. Then she went to her tack box and got her ipod she chose the song, Gimme! Gimmie! and quietly sang the song before getting her jumper saddle, saddle pad, briddle, martin gale and back boots. Then she started to tack Star up. Comming Nic said while getting his ipod and turning it to Hero by Chad Krouger. Then he got all his riding gear and started to tack Midnight.

Vivian waved back at Case, then turned Ella towards the center of the ring. "Alright hold on." She said. They halted in the center of the ring and turned to face Amy and Pancake. "Alright, play it." She said, collecting Ella.
Ella smiled. "No problem." She replied to Pancake. She bunched her muscles. Knowing what song was being played, she knew she would be starting off with a Piaffe.

((It was amazing! I rode Rosie, a black quarter horse mare. She's so fast! And plus we did barrel racing! It was awesome! Her gates are soo smooth it's like you don't even feel it, like your floating away. Alright! I'll take a look.))
Amy smiled and waved back to Case and then turned her attention to the cd player and Vivian. "Here it goes." Amy said, clicking the 'play' button, Please Don't Stop The Music starting to play.
Pancake smiled. She liked to watch others practice, so she could pick up some stuff, to get better.

((Fun! I don't get to ride for another week because the barn where I ride at is hosting those big A-level shows, and so I don't get to ride... crying ))
Vivian started Ella into a Piaffe, keeping her trotting in place.
Ella shifted her weight from one diagonal to another, keeping most of her weight in her hind legs and she pranced in place all through the intro of the song.
As soon as the first verse started, Vivian started Ella into an extended trot around the arena.
Ella kept herself collected as they continued in an extended trot around the arena, her hoofbeats in perfect time to the music.
The chorus started and Vivian moved her into the high-step trot again.
Ella snorted and began high-stepping again gracefully, her tail flowing behind her again.
The second verse started and they moved into a fast-beat, but slow, collected canter in order to stay music.
Ella cantered with such amazing grace and fluidity around the arena but as soon as the chorus started again, she began a perfect piroutte under Vivian's order. They piroutted all through the first repetition of the chorus. The second time they headed to a corner at a trot and began a suspended passage across the arena. She continued her passage across two diagonals nearing the end, then right before the end, they moved into the center again and ended with a bow in the direction of Amy and Pancake. Ella winked at her before standing up straight again.
Vivian sighed, wiping her forehead, and walked Ella on a loose rein back to Amy and Pancake.

Pancake stared in amazment. They were so good. She giggled when she winked and whinnied.
Amy clapped smiling. "You guys were amazing! It must have took years to learn that!" Amy said.
