Cottonpaw nodded. "Yea, I suppose it'll help." She sat down and wrapped her thick tail around he paws. "I'm freezing, can we go back to camp?" she asked hopefully.
Wildpelt looked at the two pieces of prey and sighed. She hated leaf-bare, the cold, the lack of food, everything. She shivered when a breeze hit her shabby pelt and she nodded. "I agree with Cottonpaw, it's too cold to stay out here much longer."

(Was Darkfoot in the nursery? O.o)
Skyclaw, feeling much warmer, padded out of the warriors den and back out into the chaotic clearing. He noticed snow piling up near the elders den and decided to move some as something to do.

[Icestar and Leafstorm are waiting at the border. Just thought I'd let y'all know ;D]
Dawnflower rasped her tounge over her squirming kits. They were beginning to become more independant. Now capable of walking on their own. Copperkit crouched down in front of his sister.
"Look out, here I come," he mewed teasingly.
Amberkit opened her eyes and yawned. She jumped back at the sight of her brother in her face. Recognizing the position that he was in, she narrowed her eyes. "Don't you dare pounce on-" before she could finish she was pinned to the ground. Copperkit was purring but Amberkit kicked him off. "Stupid furball" she mewed giving him a friendly swipe over his ear.
The kits continued to play as Dawnflower got up and stretched. "Could you just keep an eye on them while I go get something to eat?" she mewed to Mistycloud. "I can also get you something," she offered.

"Thanks." Mistycloud mewed signaling that she'd watch them.
Skyclaw took a deep breath and pushed some snow out of the way.

Dawnflower padded into the clearing, carefully avoiding the medicine cats den. She grabbed two mice, both plump and fresh and brought them back to the nursery. She gently placed the larger mouse in front of Mistycloud and settled down beside her to eat. Copperkit and Amberkit were mewing with hunger. "Hush kits." she silenced them with her tail. She grabbed them both by the scuff of their necks and nestled them close to her stomach to they could recieve her milk.

Mistycloud accepted the mouse. "In a few days I won't be able to do anything but lay around the nursery." Mistycloud sighed starting to eat. "These kits keep me up even when they aren't born!"
Skyclaw shook himself and decided he'd check on Mistycloud again.

Darkfoot gave a hiss, and walked back out. "I can't find Bronzepaw!" She mewed, hackles rose. "ThunderClan will kill us when they come here, and can't find their kit!"
Bronzepaw only heard muffled mews, safe in the depth of her own den.

Mistycloud sighed.
"Oh, you're up." Skyclaw meowed padding in and touching his nose to her cheek.
"I've been awake for a while, where have you been?" She purred licking his shoulder.
"No where..." Skyclaw mewed quietly.

Dawnflower rose to her paws and poked her head out into the clearing. "What's with all the noise? Darkfoot, you sound like someone's dying." she mewed narrowing her eyes. "I swear," she muttered to herself "that kit is causing more problems than we need right now."

Darkfoot sighed. "ThunderClan will think we took their mouse-brained kit." She looked around, and still didn't see Bronzepaw inthe hole. Her den was lined with moss, after all. She mewed sharply, "Is a patrol out? We can't have no food supply because we're taking care of a ThunderClan kit."
Bronzepaw yawned, only catching one word: Patrol.

"Alright, we'll head back to camp." Rocktalon picked up her sorry excuse for a mouse and began walking back to camp.Not much longer until we are done with leaf-bare
Once she saw camp she caught a strange scent. ThunderClan? She turned her head towards Wildpelt, "Do you smell ThunderClan?" She unsheathed her claws, although it didn't sound like a battle was going on it was best to be prepared.

Cottonpw sniffed the air but right now all she could smell was her mouse. She dropped it to te ground and once again smelled the breeze. ThunderClan! She crouched low and looked around her but no threat seemed to be present.
Wildpelt opened her mouth to taste the air and nodded to Rocktalon.
"Their stench is here," she sniffed the ground and the bushes. "but it doesn't seem like too many cats came here. Maybe a patrol stumbled into our territory?" She knew that they were too deep in their territory for that to happen, but didn't know what else could have occured.

"Who knows." Skyclaw meowed with a sigh.

Rocktalon sheathed her claws. "You're right, there doesn't seem to be anything threatening." She picked up her prey and padded into camp, depositing it on the fresh-kill pile. She headed to Darkfoot's den, poking her head in the asked "Is everything alright?"
