It takes him a few minutes, but he finally gets a flame going. He looks triumphant! "There we go."

"Aww." Angie pouts.
"Well.. that's all right. I'll still help any way I can." Rufus nods.

Soon, salad and a loaf of bread is brought out to their table. And a little girl dressed as a white mouse appears onstage. She clears her throat and begins announcing the play. It's Cinderella!

Byron glares at it then says, "Help me down to it."

She sighs and gives Richrad an apologetic look. "We won't be long."
Rufus hands her his gun.

After a little synopsis, the mouse girl bows and scampers offstage. The curtains rise and the scene begins!

Byron accepts the help. He is so weak that he practically needs carried over.

It is a scene in which a poor willowy Cinderella is forced to actually do some housework and is whining about not being part of a decent family that can afford hired help. This is apparently someone's idea of a comedy.

Soon she is rushed upon by stepsisters! One is a flamboyant Russ in a wig and poofy period dress. The other is also a guy, but with copper colored skin, black ringlets.. and a moustache. There is much nagging and goofy snooty laughing.

Byron leans heavily against the why beside the fireplace. He huffs as well, tying to catch his breath.

Russ is completely ignoring the audience. Soon some lovely chicken and others foods is served. Cinderella discovers there is a ball and is immediately banned from attending. There is a lot of griping and also some singing!

Soon the fairy godmother shows up and offers to make Cinderella pretty and give her a ride for a small fee that can be paid monthly.

Soon comes the scene where the dashing prince is searching for his true love! The stepsister boys get to come back and try on shoes and make a big goofy fuss over it all.
