Because it put a hole in your little bunker. themightyjello Heavy brought the Penetrator to an upright position; aimed directly downwards at the roof of the complex entrance, as it was the only above-ground portion, which made it hard to guess as to which way the complex spread underground. Without a sound other than the metallic clacks of parts in motion, the 'muzzle' of the device touched onto the roof.
A burst of hydraulic air fired from the top of the weapon as it prepared the internal mechanisms... and then, in another moment, it fired.
With an ear-splitting crack and recoil enough to nearly lift the 3700 lb machine from the ground, the Penetrator fired a single piercing shot downwards into the ground. It would travel through the roof of the building, through the ground beside the hatch that the Knights of Fortune sealed their entrance with, and down through the ground through as many rooms as there may have been underneath the entrance until it buried itself in a good fifteen feet into the very foundation of the structure, itself.
Though through that thin hole that was just punched through the structure, the bullet seemed to have left something behind. A cord, about two inches wide, which had been tethered to the projectile."Insertion complete," VanTech B said to himself as he sipped his coffee... I've got about 20-30 of those in the cargo bay of the C.I. blimp. That one was a prototype from last year, these ones are production model. Granted, of them aren't combat models, but a lot of the bugs have been worked out and even the loader models can put a hurtin' on someone.

themightyjello h X c Enemies: There are no enemies in this game, save one…the AGGRO-CRAG, which is going to totally ******** dominate your face. Description of GUTS the SNES game? totally yes. SA indeed. here's something else. Bosses: Six. All of which can hit you before you can hit them. This is a remarkably accepted method used by game designers to make sure that enemies are challenging. Other people call it "cheating". Some people say this same thing while they develop a serious case of TMJ.

Red Ranger's armor is made of awesomeness and kickass!
But to be more technical, I'm going to say a highly advanced space-age metal of some sort, flexible enough to be woven into cloth, with a bit of pixie dust added to the mix by Zion himself.
Or for simple terms, just armor strong enough to match up with the big boys.

Chaplain Fenix So what's everyone's armor made of? Foam and polyester? Plastic and rubber! or Molecularly aligned matrix of crystallized iron enhanced by magnetic fields over layers of other metals like titanium, creating a shell that is pliable, yet capable of great resilience and protection.

Well lasers would be okay, were he in space.
But the atmosphere just diffuses beams too quickly for them to be of any use.
Come on Darsh, pliable metal that's resilient too? You want armour to move you throw in joints.
