I just had this shock of inspiration for an avatar: The Spirit of Autumnal Beverages.

I love it! It's friigin great! Pumpkiiin spiiiice o/

Loving the combination of the eyes and slightly out of proportion arms on your avatar right now. It's ever-so-slightly disturbing variation on the norm perfect for Halloween.

Thank you! I was excited that I get to use these arms for something! lol
I'm digging the guild's ongoing spooky vibe!

My plans are:
1. Get the graphics, banners, front page sorted and restored. 90% done.
2. Go out into the wilds of the main gaia forums to advertise and attract some attention. Hopefully the Thankgiving and Christmas events are really condusive to interaction — this Halloween format everyone is fixated on posting arrows as quickly as possible and not paying attention, but the TG and Xmas holidays are often when the sad adults are busy sad adulting and need a nice place to go.
3. Tell guildies of old that we're back in action and to drop by because most of them do not have a good excuse.

What my idea is to shape it is basically just make it all the more a cozier comfort zone full of good conversation, roleplay threads, games, and banter as it was. My sole vision is 2010 AGA with more pillows, cocoa, liquor, and higher production values.

The plan sounds good! I'm not able to contact any of the oldies either. I think I was once fb friends with few, but not anymore. Miss the old gang but I'm glad to see the new faces and it's great if new people would find this place again!

I wholeheartedly support all of this and I'll promise to try and help as much as I can with all the other stuff happening in my life atm. xd

Hey off brand CB! ^-^

Watchdogs:Legion releases tonight! I'll try to check in, but I'mma def be focused in. It looks like the saints row 2 version of a cyberpunk game. My friend and I are gonna play it together, well hopefully... Servers are always buggy day one, and ofcourse we have no idea what the coop is truely like @_@

Cyberpunk got delayed again, I feel for those poor devs.

I did the thing where I cut my own hair this week. I don't hate it, I think I did decent, but I did cut my sideburns a little off on one side.

Any who, that's my little update. o.o

I am afraid it has reached the tipping point where it won't be able to deliver. They can only promise the best game they can make that meets such and such standard for so long before nothing they can do can meet the expectations they fostered in the process.

So yeah, poor devs, anything past this point is going to be a sunk cost fallacy.

I need to cut my hair... or let it keep growing out and ponytail it. It's about 20cm average right now.

I also shortened my hair in the spring. It went fairly well, though it's hard to cut your own hair. biggrin But luckily I have proper scissors to do it.

I've been cutting my husbands hair for years now. But it's easier because you can just mow it down with a machine into few millimeters long. biggrin

Today has been a wreck of a day. No sleep, dermatologist appointment with cryo and surgical removals, my medical coverage had lapsed so that destroyed a big chunk of my savings in self-pay, dealing with my father's idiocy and raging, no exercise, accidentally sent a nude cat alien render to the wrong person, fatigue, anxiety, heart issues as my body processes the anesthetics, computer issues, being treated like a retard, and finishing off the night with being a bad boyfriend because I can't be 100% on point to help my better two thirds deal with the strife of one of his friends having a serious cancer come back — I'm genuinely trying, it's just hard to show how deeply I care and want to support when I am fatigued, panicking, and puking.

I snort-laughed at this because it's exactly what I do too! My husband's hair is so easy because it's thick and wavy all I have to do is cut it really short. I don't think I'd be able to actually style it. Just BZZZZZ and done!

I'm less worried about how the public will receive it and more worried about their health at this point. They've reportedly been crunching since before the crunch was made public... Though I'm sure they're also receiving death threats.

My hair short on the sides and long on the top. It had grown to be like mid torso. I cut it to about shoulder length. ^-^

They're burning themselves out for no reason is my point. Any further grinding is pointless. They should just cancel the project and cut their losses, because they're working themselves to death for the promise of long-term harm to their careers.

It's def tough to cut your own hair, I kept having to hold my phone up to see the back. lol

The buzzers are def the easiest part. I'll probably end up cutting my own hair from now on. Getting it cut by others has always been a little weird

Unfortunately, the company won't let them do that would let down the investors. They'ed sooner fire them all. The game industry needs to unionize, for the health of the employees. They also need to accept the devs input on how long things will take.

Ugh, gamers also have to be understanding with delays gubby monsters that we are. xD

True on all counts.

Though I would like to see an end to corporations in the industry — there isn't a rational reason for any of these video game companies to have corporate protections, they are not creating anything close to infrastructure or societal liabilities. This would give proper unions, founded on the company/local level, a decent foothold in the process without making anyone suffer.
