Hey don't forget that they are trying to break the 100,000 mark today in gaia. I believe they are shooting for 5 pm pacific time to get everyone to log on....I know there is a prize if we break it ...what i don't know is if its for everyone that logged on today or if its for everyone that logged on that was part of the 100,000.

I thought what they said was that when they hit 100K everyone that logged in during that day would get the prize. They are trying really hard to get that number today. But what I wonder is if somehow they reached the goal yesterday (and haven't said anything yet because of what they said about 5 today) AND they reach the goal again today..... does everyone that logged on yesterday get the prize? Or will there be more than one if it's reached again today? Or maybe there is only one prize but people that logged in on both days it reached 100k would get it... OR maybe we didn't reach it before today and possibly won't reach it today either.... domokun Now THAT was a good mindless babble! razz

On Monday evening, we shattered our previous record for most users online by more than ten thousand. Everyone at Gaia HQ was watching with wonder and disbelief as the number kept climbing and climbing; at the end of the day, we were very close to 100 thousand… a little too close. So close that the number seemed to be mocking us!
"We can do it," said we, swelling with pride and hubris. "Gaians can-- nay, must-- break 100 grand."
Does the number really mean anything? Will we suddenly be the biggest site in the world if we break 100k? Will we all get chocolate cufflinks and solid-gold Ferraris? No! It's just a really huge, cool-looking number. We want to break the record because we can. We want to reach 100 thousand because it's there!
Here's the deal: if we reach 100K users online during this event, everyone will be given a special commemorative item to celebrate their part in Gaian history!
We won't give out the item until the end of the Summer Festival because… uhh… we haven't made it yet. But if you log in on the day when the record is broken, you will get the item (eventually).
So, what can you do to help make history?
* Hang out on Gaia! Stick around a while, chat with friends, play games, post in the forums, do whatever-- just make sure you log in and stay awhile!
* Badger your Gaian friends to log in! Got a buddy who hasn't been on in a while? Strongarm them into logging in, joining your team, and throwing a few balloons around.
* Spread the word! IM your friends (your classy, high-quality friends-- we don't need any ne'er-do-wells) and tell them to sign up. You can also use our invite system, which will give you some free balloons to use in Towns.
* Most importantly: BELIEVE IN IT! We will break this record! YES!
Update: Let's make a big effort to try to make this happen on Monday, September 3rd. Let's all try to log in at once around 5PM Pacific (8PM Eastern). Cast aside your responsibilities, cancel your hot dates, and hit the site like a tornado of online-ness! Spread the word!
And what will happen if we don't reach 100 grand? You're all banned!!! No, just kidding: absolutely nothing will happen. We'll still be happy about reaching 97 thousand, and we'll look forward to breaking 100 thousand with our next big event. But let's break this record anyway!

You know I have never heard that saying ... right as rain... let me research it....
hmmm intresting...According to using english.com.... the meaning of right as rain is this....
If things are right as rain, then everything is going well in your life.
I read in another place that its a play on words ... that there may be in alliteration to the fact that rain falls straight down.....and the straight refers to the correctness of things in your life but that was vague...
hehehe such a hard question to answer lol!
