D: EEP *has returned for the meantime* c:
o.O Now that you mention it, it seems to stick out really obviously that that's mostly what happens.. (going out to eat, etc)
I think though that it's probably something to provoke social gathering and activity, but yeah.. :/ Sure there must be something better to do... D:
Happy anniversary, though. c:

Happy Anny Gwee! *hugs* I really wish there was something else to do. From what I can tell its seems to be common everywhere. Eating for nourishment is normal, but in almost every culture to eat in excess was a time of celebration. Its kinda weird but you have to remember that an excess of food was a wonderful thing hundreds of years ago. As you said though, I wish there was something else to do but eat. smile

Thanks everyone!
We need more activities to do around here. We thought about going to the Daiquiri bar, but I'm not much of a drinker; and besides... daiquiris are so cold I can't drink them fast enough to catch a buzz. sweatdrop I really wanted to play some pool, but there's no good place to go around here for that... only the bowling alley, and that just didn't sound like much of a fun/party atmosphere. There's not even a putt-putt place around here anymore.
We ended up eating some T-bones at the Texas Roadhouse. The food was delicious, but way too much and my tummy hurted for a while afterwards. cheese_whine
I did get a pretty necklace, though; and the most awesome coffee maker I've ever had! And with as much coffee that gets drank around here, that was a perfect prezzie!!!
Since the subject is open: what do you think the most romantic way to spend time with your honey would be? Any personal past experiences!?

We went to a town called Frankenmuth. We started early in the morning, and window shopped, we walked all over the town. Then we took a carriage ride, it was so romantic. We spent the rest of the day just wandering around enjoying the sights and the chance to be together. We even got some handmade fudge. Mmmm chocolate. heart

Looks like they'd have whatever u wanted. U could get lost in that store... or at least lose track of time. xd Anyway, looks like lots of fun. And the carriage ride and homemade fudge treat sounds like a romantic escape from the day to day! Good for you, Hazumu!!!
I've always thought about taking one of those cart rides (it's mules and buggies) in the French Quarter, but I've never inquired about the cost or anything. There's some kind of instinctive sense that tells me it's too "touristy" thing to do in New Orleans.
How about the Saints, huh!?

There's a alot of talk that kids should take care not to catch the swine flu: not grabbing from a big bowl of candy and no bobbling for apples. Is this getting to be a little too over-protective. First, razor blades and drugs being put into candy and now this!? It's a shame kids just can't be kids at least for one night. Can u believe there is even a canine flu!?

I have never heard of canine flu before, weird.
Its sad that halloween seems to be dwindling away.

I don't know. All of a sudden, everyone seems to be getting into the spirit around here; just a little late to start decorating. But the costume stores had plenty of traffic even on a week day!
We're going to have a Halloween party Friday night and then I'm going to load up the caravan with as many kids that want to go and take them trick-or-treating. And even on the following Sunday, we're going to have another, more family get-together to BBQ and possibly roast some marshmallows and wieners.
Any wieners around Watu want to volunteer to be roasted!? rofl
HEY! A roast of a Watu-member could be fun... u know, like VH1 does to celebrities, like Flavor Flav, Bob Saget, and Pamela Anderson?
Anyway, we need to have a Halloween costume contest for us Watu-members. What do u think? Anyone game? I'm sure we can muster up a few prizes just to sweeten the deal for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!!!

The halloween spirit is hitting is high pitch here. My week is really going to be busy and fun this week, I have my oldest's birthday, then Halloween and we will be going to Youmacon (hopefully).
That would be fun, Gwee. I wonder if anyone would like to participate! I am always up to a little Costume Contest! smile

I think that is pretty wild looking. I do like the color choices, I love purple and green.

Thank you Hazumu! I picked them because LA's Soccer team is the Jesters and that's their colors, and if I ever went to one of their games I could wear it. Plus Mardi Gras! smile ... except I don't have any gold in it

I was thinking that, too.. you can wear it for Mardi Gras too! I'm sure it won't take much to add some gold to it. You have much creativity. You should try your hand at fashion design! Your model's form is drawn well, and the costume is adorable!
