That sounds dreadful macs truly don't age well I guess, it's a sad thought really. I know most game patches start at like 60gb before they figure themselves out it seems. Did it eventually fix itself? o.o

It seems to. It's at least stable. Though now I am having trouble as of today accessing just things online. Google image search stopped working. Luckily I use duck duck go as often. But yeah, it's pushing me towards considering the PC instead of getting another mac. I just do not know what I want to do in life to really focus.

Inedible_Animals
Off brand CB tastes better anyway. ^-^
It really is the only gaia conversation that seems to continue, I'm lucky if I get 1 quote. xD

Yeah, all those kids with their soylent products and razor propeller beanies don't know how to have a discussion.

Inedible_Animals
Also, I should get to work on some other classes as well, hmmm

Ranger, rogue, and monk. BAM!
Same, I'm looking at a pc next, but am also in the weird life focus bubble.

You know, I looked into soylent once for the novelty of being able to shout soylent green is made from people and chug it. Buuut, it's not even vegan. .-. yeah, darn propeller beanies! Don't they know spinny bow ties is where it's at? I think my main problem lies in communication, I think I mentioned before my ability to follow conversations has come into question many times. I would not be surprised if I'm not following what folks are saying properly. .-.

Ooo, tough choice I shall see which one I can manage ^-^

If I was just focusing on writing, staying online, finding new things, I would likely be best suited to the mac.

If I want to continue most of these creative tangents, I would be better on the PC.

My better two thirds says I should just get the mac and if I need the things I have need for a PC for, just use the laptop in the meantime. Maybe it will force me to learn PC use more. But I am such a neurotic and discomforted creature, I want a nice, neat, one computer desk.

That's why I like to break posts down and respond to each bit like this. It helps me, shows I am directly involved with each part, and lets everything be followed smoothly.

I think considering your aesthetic group, a ranger might come out as a sort of bohemian herb hunter of the twilight forests.

I do dislike a cluttery desk, I used to have my console and computer hooked up to one screen at one point, it was nice. ^-^ I do hope whatever you decide makes you more comfortable over all. Learning pc can be a little rough after you've been on mac for a while, but it'll likely only be a minor hiccup.

I appreciate you, and may steal your idea if I'm ever not on mobile. ^-^

lol you're probably extremely accurate in that assessment. "Bohemian Herb Hunter", fantastic! xD

My chances bare slim, but I entered to win a gaming ready pc, erm again. If I win I can put my pc money towards a 3d printer, that I will use, and will make cute little things for my desk. And probably also to sell cause stuff is expensive...

And then I will have to pay you to have that sketchy Argentinian nupetiet-vergnitz printed as you will be the only person I know with such a device. rofl

Interesting factoid. The first model I ever built was a nupetiet-vergnitz in 1987. Ever since, I have wanted to have a really huge properly-done model of it to bookend my life.

Aaaaaaaaaand it's 4AM, I should have been in bed already. Not exercising AND not sleeping, I am really building up those adulting problems points.

I believe in you, "believe in the me that believes in you"! You can adapt to pc life! o/

That's a snazzy ship! ^-^ I would print that for you on my theoretical 3d printer! I do enjoy interesting factoid!

It's 6 here, I do believe I've been doing the no exercise not sleeping thing since middle school. It sounds like we've both mastered it! Now, to both unlearn said skill. Thank you for losing track of time and chatting. Same time tomorrow then? :b

Today has been a long, ugly day. A lot of executive dysfunction on top of being shamed and ridiculed for not doing things I am not comfortable or capable of doing. I tried pushing myself to exercise, did not get much done and hurt myself in the process. And now as if my day needed that extra bit of oomph, it feels like I might be having a stone starting to come down the ureter. stressed

I tried to make a knight and somehow made some sort of a Chinese Yuan-Ti that might run a brothel in a swamp city.

I should probably go to bed. My mind is all foggy.

I had an unfulfilling day as well, though instead of injury mine resulted in my partner and I procrastinating our plans. We instead played a cute little game called spiritfarer together for like 6 hours. ^-^

I also discovered my K.D. in Apex is now in the positive, a minor victory as I'm still just silver rank. I really only want to rank up to see what these higher rewards are all about. *shrugs*

May your injury heal swiftly, and whoever shamed you stub their toe. o.o And may they sneeze soda! ^-^

Oh and that stone best past swiftly and with minimal pain, or it will answer to a sledge hammer shortly after it's exit! *sharpens hammer*

At least you got to have time with your partner. Sometimes it's those little moments you needed rather than wanted.

Kill/Death? But I am noticing that more and more it has less to do with attaining the level than seeing WTH the big deal is with the level. I think that's something about late Gen-X through the recent generations, that we do not have as much competitiveness as curiosity as to what is up there. We get to the top to look around and then have no need to defend it.

Yeah, they're untouchable. They live in a reality where they can just do things and don't have any hindrances.

I ended up in the hospital for eight hours. CT scan, IV, got sent home with drugs. It's a 3mm with a long spike. So it is a fast, but painful passage. It should be out by tomorrow morning.

No rest, but two bags of saline counts as hydrated.

I'm glad I got time with her, I just really need to get to work. Not that I wouldn't have procrastinated any way. xD

Yeah kill to death ratio, it's kinda nice to have more kills then you do deaths. This season it's at like 87k/74d for now lol. There's definitely a curious craving to see what's at the top. But, if/when I get there I'll def be like, well that was neat I guess. XD Either way I've been loving Apex enough that I'm working on a cosplay for my current favorite character Wattson ^-^

Frustrating, at the least the next time they drop their keys I hope there's a storm drain close by. :/

That sounds dreadfuly painful, the stone shall suffer *hammer sharpening intensifies*

Hmmm, two bags of saline accepted as hydration ^-^

I went for monk, but my avi's lore might have made me look a bit more rouge lol

I don't get to have time with my better two thirds as I suck and can't get up to Alaska to be with him in person.

I tried looking it up, but every site I visited would not work with my browsers. So apart from knowing what Wattson looks like, I still have no concept of the game.

They had me crying and breaking down more today. Then on top of that I was facing more problems with computers and tech support people being borderline bullies. Which drove me to have a full-blown ears ringing, hot flashing, blackout panic attack.

I'm gonna pull a counter on that suckage idea. I'm guessing it's more a matter of convenience and comfortability. Alaska, while interesting and exotic can sound intimidating, and can cause inconvenience as far as travel and livability go. You don't have to go further in depth of you do not wish. But, know that I don't think you suck. ^-^

So, here's the part where you'll wanna have a cup of coffee or tea rest cause I'm gonna unleash my game geek side. ^-^ *takes a long sip of tea and a deep breath* Apex Legends is a Battle Royale style game from the makers of Titan Fall (a fantastic wall running, mech fighting, first person shooter). In Apex 20 trans of 3 players drop unarmed into a large map filled with guns, armor, and explosives and fight to be the last team standing. You choose from a number of hero characters each with their own special abilities, and ultimate move. Wattson, my current favorite can build electric fences, and her ult is a field generator that absorbs incoming ordinance and converts it into energy to refill allied sheilds. Which makes her ult a hard counter for Gibraltar and Bangalore who's ults are both a type of air strike. To keep matches moving there is a sort of barriers wall that closes in on a randomized central location every 3 minutes anyone caught outside the wall takes damage over time until they perish or return to inside the wall. The core fun for me is the first few minute on the ground after touch down scrambling to gather weapons and items to survive while fighting other teams. Same reason I like the first few hours of Minecraft that little survival rush I guess xD (I move around and build new bases every couple days in Minecraft to keep things lively it's a nice nomadic feeling) my other favorite character is Lifeline she has a healing drone she can deploy and if her teammates go down she can deploy the drone to revive them instead of having to do it manually. Her ult is a care package that comes loaded with random loot for her teammates. I think that's enough talking your ear off for now. ^-^ Sorry sorry ^-^

Whoever this person is I am not a fan. May their phone battery fail to hold a charge. :/

You rock! Your use of spiff makes me smile ^-^

I suck because I am a coward with limited mobility. I have always had extreme anxiety and panic issues and the last time flying was not too much for me to cope with was in the 80's. In this post-9/11, post-sanity, covid-licious nightmare, getting on a plane is overwhelming. Add on top of that that Alaska's and Nevada's Covid testing and systems are completely at odds with each other, it makes getting a test and getting everything okayed an extra level of awful.

Inedible_Animals

*Follows along* That is a better description than most I gleaned. No need to apologize. Get me into an infodump and it'll be about 40 pages. XD

I am definitely a builder. I do not move fast, I do not see well, I get easily lost and overwhelmed. I am just a slow plodder for the most part. Give me creative mode, worldedit, and time and I will remake the universe.

Though turn-based RPGs, I am amongst the fastest. I don't play anything with timed battles, just pure turn-based. Once I process the game, I can divert to muscle memory mode and fly through encounters. One time when I was a young teen, we ran a test between me and a couple friends. We had Aki on FF7 (ATB), me on FF1 (turn based), and Paul on I think it was Tsuki no Baju (action). We played for one hour while the others kept score of how many battles and levels we went up. I plowed through about 150 battles and three levels, Aki got through 35 or 36 battles and one level, and Paul got through 40 or 41 battles and no leveling up. My favorite battle system was FFX's, because it was turn-based with initiative/speed shifts so it was like the best of all systems.
