Training RP in Lillycove:
Pokemon: (obtainable up to 3) pokemon around and in Lillycove.
Rewards: ?

Before I set out unprepared I pack up for a one day stay in Lillycove for the sole reason to train taking only Vulpix Treeko Sneasel and Feebas with me. Setting out for the door I grab my backpack and shove the two aqua balls that I had just received into the rest of the clutter and I also grab my bike which I left outside in the rain last night and its beginning to rust, I thought to myself that I should fix that soon but had no time at the moment and I began to make my way to the port where I was to board my ferry set for Lillycove.

As I reach the port I purchase my round trip tickets and I boarded the ship which I apparently just got there in time to depart. About five minutes after I got on the ship it began to move slowly toward its destination and I decided to take my long deserved nap for the remainder of the ride. A few hours later the ship stopped moving with a sudden halt waking me immediately when I heard the announcement over the speaker saying a rambling about the companies thankfulness toward the passengers for using their means of transportation that I could honestly care less about…

Leaving my cabin a complete mess I rushed out the door and got off the ship and the first thing I saw was a complete horror… the city was still in ruin from the Tenticruel attack and most building were completely demolished except the giant mall and the contest hall. Figuring most water type pokemon were scared off my the ruckus I decided to not spend much time in Lillycove instead rather training in the neighboring routes. As I walked through the destroyed city I tried not to pay much attention to the point of sheer destruction the city was in and I just kept my head low and said a prayer for the injured of the city as I reached route 121.

The route seemed to be teeming with life unlike the distraught city right next to it, I just couldn’t wait to begin my training so I sent out Treeko and I went to find my first target. The as soon as I entered a densely grassed area I was startled by a wild Shuppet that appeared right in front of my face then went over and started to antagonize Treeko. As the battle commenced Shuppet easily out sped Treeko with its Shadow Sneak attack dealing a decent amount of damage and Treeko quickly countered with his Bullet seed attack dealing damage multiple times in a row bringing the first round of attacks to about a draw. Shuppet even without a move that automatically goes first on each turn was still able to out speed Treeko to inflict scorching burns on him with a Will-o-Wisp attack. Treeko fairly injured used his unavoidable Aerial Ace attack insuring a great amount of damage and leaving the enemy with barely any health left and yet again in the same predicament as Treeko, so I decided to end the battle and add Shuppet to my team. I pulled one of my newly obtained Aqua balls out of my bag and threw it at the severely injured Shuppet capturing it instantly without any struggle from the looks of it.

Treeko still injured and the pokemon center in Lillycove in ruins I needed to use another pokemon for the rest of my training session and since I only had one Aqua ball left it shouldn’t take long… so I sent out Vulpix and I continued my journey west to route 120 getting quite bored of the scenery where I was. Reaching a small pond I sit down for a moment due to a feeling of dread overwhelming me making me stop to catch my breath. I look down and see poor little Vulpix with her tail between her legs fearing something which presence seemed to be getting closer…I looked over to where Vulpix was gazing with fear in her eyes and I saw a shadowy figure come into clear view, I recognized it from somewhere quite possibly I book I read its name was Absol and it only appeared where disaster strikes and definitely the catastrophe in Lillycove brought about his appearance… the first thing that came to my mind was that I have to catch him, that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity but before that thought could even go through my head he unleashed a powerful attack that looked like a wave of darkness engulfing Vulpix and leaving her defenseless to another attack. Vulpix’s only choice was to use her last bit of strength to at least try and injure Absol, so I ordered her to use her last resort attack which will more than likely hurt her more than Absol but it is a risk that I was willing to take. Vulpix began to shimmer with a blinding light shooting off waves of fire at Absol dealing some damage but not much. Vulpix used all the strength that she had left and after that attack she had fainted, leaving me with only two Pokemon left to use witch I hope would be enough. I returned Vulpix to her ball and immediately send out Sneasel to try to end this battle, I told Sneasel to deal as much damage from the start and begin to start swinging Brick Break attacks at the wild Absol, Sneasel only was able to get one attack in before Absol countered with another Dark Pulse attack which didn’t affect Sneasel to much but still left him with only about half of his heath. Sneasel then used one last brick break attack that hit Absol right on its side almost knocking him over but also at the same time leaving Sneasel open for the perfect counter attack… Absol swung its body around and slammed Sneasel to the ground with its tail, not the kind of attack I was expecting but still enough to knock out Sneasel. I had one pokemon left that was able to battle but I wasn’t sure if it was enough but I had no other choice… so I released Feebas from its ball into the nearby pond figuring I can at least give her a field advantage in this battle. Absol’s eyes then began to glow and a torrential downpour covered the whole area flooding the pond Feebas was in and leaving her back out on the damp grass. Out of the water Feebas was only able to use a few attacks so she stalled for time by using her Hypnosis attack putting Absol into a deep sleep for a moment so she can flounder back into the water. Absol woke up at exact time Feebas entered the water loosing track of her he shot off a useless Dark Pulse attack which only hit the surface of the water. Feebas then countered with a jet of water doing decent amount of damage to Absol who was already drenched by the rain. Absol stunned by the power of the enhanced water gun used its last resort move Parish Song which if not taking care of quickly Feebas could faint if she hears the song. Feebas unable to hear underwater didn’t hear my command to sty there nor the song until she surfaced…as she surfaced she gave me little time to react or else she would faint so I looked over at absol which was now at this point sopping wet from the rain which gave me an idea, before Feebas fainted from the song I ordered her to use her ice beam attack as quickly as possible, she did as commanded and it hit Absol dead on Freezing him in a chunk of ice… as soon as I realized my plan had succeeded I returned Feebas to her ball and threw my last Aqua ball at the frozen Absol, unable to fight back the ball easily kept Absol inside without a struggle and I had made my most impressive capture yet!

Noticing the sun going down after the rain subsided I realized I did not have much time left before my ship left so I rushed back through Lillycove and back to the port with only minutes to spare, I boarded the boat found my cabin and rested up all my pokemon including my two new teammates. I couldn’t fall asleep myself because I was far to exited to get back to HQ, so a few hours later which seemed like a lifetime I woke all my pokemon from their nap which they definitely deserved, got my cabin all packed up and waited another moment or so for the ship to come to a stop. As soon as I got off the ship I ran for the exit of the port, got on my bike and rushed back to HQ to write this report.

Training RP in Lillycove:
Pokemon: (obtainable up to 3) pokemon around and in Lillycove.
Rewards: ?
-Training Mission- 11:36 AM Sunday, May 16th 2008

The rain had just started falling from where Ginji was sitting on the ferry to Lilycove, it ran on Sundays for free to Pokemon trainers, as long as you participate in at least one battle while you are on. It wasn’t a long ride, and the blonde boy hadn’t been challenged yet.

He started seeking an opponent, and he found his first victim. A red haired kid who was sitting towards the front of the boat, he seemed to be crying over something. Ginji approached the boy cautiously and asked casually, “Do you mind if we battle?” the boy looked up from his shoulders, his face tear stained and a smile emerged on his face.

“Why I would love to, my name’s Trevor by the way.” The red haired boy giggled, as if he knew something our hero didn’t.

“That’s swell Trevor, my name’s Ginji” Ginji said with a slight sneer. The two males made their way to the battle arena and stepped into boxes opposite of each other. Ginji sent out his Pokemon first. Luxray appeared with a flash of brilliant white light. Trevor was next, a Mr. Mime appeared from the same brilliant light.

Ginji knew he had this battle in the bag, but decided to play it calm and cautious. Luxray started to attack but hit a barrier. Stumbling back in pain, Luxray took another approach; he roared and let loose a thunderbolt, which also veered off in a different direction. Mr. Mime’s hands glowed a faint purple color and Luxray was outlined with the same aura, before Luxray was hurdled into a nearby water cooler. Luxray regained its composer and attacked again, this time bursting through the invisible walls. Mr. Mime was paralyzed in shock, and then was assaulted with an onslaught of bites, scratches, and electric attacks. Mr. Mime fainted.

Ginji and Trevor returned their Pokemon to their respective Pokeballs, and Trevor ran off back to his corner to have a good cry. Ginji felt sorry for him, but it wasn’t his place to interfere.

The boat arrived in Lilycove a few minutes later; Ginji gathered up his belongings and headed out into the village on the waterfront. The sun was shining here, too bad too; a nice hurricane would make this mission interesting. He headed towards the construction area to lend a hand if the workers needed it.

A sign was up that read “Workers to restore Aqua HQ needed for museum” The blonde boy found it odd that a museum would want to have a piece of Aqua history, but either way, Ginij decided to stay out of the worker’s way.

“HEY! YOU THERE!!!” A strong burly voice called to Ginji from a ways back. “HELP US NAOW!!!” he continued. Ginji sighed and resigned to sending out his Lucario, Flygon, and Cubone to help the constructionist.

After several hours of manual labor, the sun had started to set. Even though he was tired, he left the construction site to go search for a Pokemon or two to catch. “HEY!!! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!” the same burly voice called out to him as he left, all Ginji did was raise a hand in response.

Stripping down to his swimsuit, Ginji slipped into the ocean and let the current take him to sea. He attached his oxygen tube and slipped under the tremendous waves towards the ocean floor. A shadow appeared overhead; the blonde looked up to see a Wailmer charging him at full speed. In response Ginji sent out one of the two water Pokemon he packed, Gyrados.

The water dragon roared as it exploded from it’s Pokeball and unleashed a vicious Ice Beam, freezing the water leading to Wailmer, and encasing it in a block of ice. Wailmer used Rollout to break the ice casing and sped towards the protagonist. Gyrados tried to dodge, but was hit directly multiple times by the spinning blue ball of a Pokemon. Gyrados roared in pain and retaliated with the force to go power up a waterfall, sending Wailmer into the yellow. Wailmer sent a jet of bubbles towards Gyrados to lower Gyrados’ speed and do slight damage. In a final effort to get Wailmer into the red, Gyrados attacked with Twister. Extremely in the red, Ginji threw one of the Aqua Balls at the exhausted Wailmer, it wiggled three times and was still.

After swimming for a few more minutes, Ginji came across a sleeping Sharpedo. Relying on his last Pokemon that could effectively swim, Ginji threw Shellder into the ocean. Shellder was happy to see Ginji, but when it saw the threat of the Sharpedo, before attacking though, Shellder used its first move as Iron Defense to raise its defense status. Next, the clam of a pokemon used Icicle Spear to attack Sharpedo 5 times in a row, knocking it almost out of the green.

Sharpedo was pissed to be awoken from its slumber, and retaliated with a fearsome Crunch attack. This did quite a number on both Sharpedo and Shellder, both of which took damage, the shark by biting the equivalent of the toughest material on the face of the Earth, and Shellder because of the sheer strength of Sharpedo’s teeth. Shellder was sent flying towards Ginji and into the red at the same time.

Sharpedo was stunned, and Shellder use this opportunity to attack again with Icicle Spear. Shellder’s Skill Link caused massive amount of hits to Shapedo, who was sent hurdling into the red by the amount of non-effective hits. Ginji saw his chance and threw his last Aqua Ball at Sharpedo. The shark pokemon disappeared into the ball and a soft “Ding” sounded.

Heading towards the surface, Ginji was surprised to see the moon appear from behind a cloud, not wanting to take a ferry back home, he simply left out his Flygon and flew home. It felt good, the wind in his face, and the stars watching over him.

Kaano walked into HQ and immediately noticed the boxes of Aqua balls sitting there, which instantly reminded him of something that he had been wanting to ask. So ummm...are we still allowed to turn in training rps for Lilycove? I'm working on one right now, but it's taking a little longer than I had hoped...

Kaano's eyes lit up and he smiled. Yay! That's good news! Especially seeing as I don't think I have much time left...I think it should be done by tomorrow, though. It's just the battling part that takes me so long...

Me: There are two main parts of any mission or RP, the story and the battle(s). So that's a good thing that they take you a long time.
