Captain Hook sucked. Unless you're talking about Hook Hook, he was pretty good.
I'd replace Don Carnage with Percival McLeach.

Designated Hero I'd replace Don Carnage with Percival McLeach. You'd dare replace: "fire the gun that makes the big kaboom-boom"? I might approve of the Hook Hook. For Hades I again point to the top ten list, not the top five.

There are 'bad guy' villains, who are out to mess things up for people just out of spite.
And there are 'jackass' villains, who just say "gimme gimme gimme".
The latter are always the better villains, because they're more believable. You can't really believe that somebody just wants to ruin things for everyone else or destroy the world or something unless they're just completely out of their mind. People usually have something to gain, and they'll act selfishly to achieve those ends. The 'bad guys' are just the ones who are willing to step on people to get there (read: Griffith).
