Maddy justs watches. "How could you fail 5 spanish tests? Spanish is soooo easy, you'd have to try and fail... Or do the same thing me and me friend did... Not pass in a really important project and have your mark go from 100 to a 57...:

MISSION- Cloning Evolution Must complete Clone Clearout
I’ve gone over the documents you recovered from the Power Plant and the results are unsettling. They’ve managed to recreate the Evolution Wave technology once used by Team Rocket at the Lake of Rage!
It seems Team Clone’s next step is to produce a large number of forcibly evolved pokémon. Reports are coming in from the Sevii Islands about wild pokémon going berserk. This means their operation is already underway.
Go to the Sevii Islands, find their hideout, and shut it down. (You’ll fight two Team Clone Peons each with two evolved pokémon and one TC Commander with three fully evolved pokémon)
Pokemon: Any water type allowed at your rank
Rewards: 1350 PD
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maddy jumped with surprise as her TADS started to beep loudly. She flipped it open. “MISSION TIME!!! YEAH!!!” She hastily read the words on the small screen. It seemed interesting. Go to the Sevii Islands, infiltrate the Team Clone hideout, and DESTROY it. Destruction was always her form of shutting down. Running to her room, she snatched up 6 Pokeballs containing her best Pokemon, and any empty Pokeball or Greatball she had lying around. She latched all the Pokeballs to her belt, packed some clothes and things in her backpack, and head off. It was nice, stepping out into the cool night air. The moon shone brightly, silver streaks of pure reflected sunlight descending down from the black, star riddled night sky. Brushing her hair from her eyes, Maddy walked over to where she usually left her DX bike, and hopped on. She rode off into the distance. The usual ‘endless’ plain passed by, its long yellow grass was covered with silvery dew drops, left behind by the rain that had ravaged the land only minutes before Maddy had left. After the plain, came the same old forest, its tall dark trees casting Maddy into a seemingly endless abyss of shadow, completely blotting out the beautiful moonlight. Skidding to a halt, Maddy reached around in her pockets, trying to find Pikachu’s Pokeball. When she was sure she had it, she released the small lightning mouse. “Pikachu, let’s test out your Flash!” The small Pokemon nodded and it’s cheeks momentarily shown pure white with energy, and then there was a blinding flash. The light illuminated everything in the forest, but Maddy knew that it wouldn’t last for long and she’d have to ride fast. Letting Pikachu ride in the basket on her bike, she started off again, travelling through the forest, guided by the new light. Maddy finally escaped the forest just as Pikachu’s Flash ran out. She blinked a couple times to help her eyes adjust to the light change. The faint moonlight wasn’t exactly as bright as Pikachu’s Flash. As her eyes finished adjusting, Maddy spotted lights in the distance, indicating a town, and she finally realized the smell of ocean water that was filling her nostrils. She was finally in Lilycove. She rode faster, travelling down a hill, desperate to get on the next boat to the Sevii Islands. She had never been to those islands before, so even if it meant enduring another boat ride, she was still excited to get there. She skidded to a halt when she reached the harbour. All the boats were gone. She had missed every possible chance to get to the Sevii Islands tonight. With a sigh, she rode to the nearest Pokemon Center and rested up her Pokemon, even though they weren’t a bit tired. When her Pokemon were fully ‘rested’ up, she took her bike and rode it to the nearest inn and rented a small room. Maddy walked into her room and sat on the bed, it was awfully hard. “Something tells me that me a** is going to hurt in the morning…” With a sigh, she lay back and just stared at the ceiling. A bit of sunlight was flooding into the room, it was early in the morning, and the next boat would be leaving in only a couple hours. Now was a good time to rest up. With a yawn, she looked around her room to make sure no one else was there. Once again, she was dealing with Team Clone, and she could never forget how she got stalked by herself on that last mission. Positive that the room was clear, Maddy set an alarm on her TADS and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.
Maddy cried out in surprise as her TADS beeped louder than usual and she fell off the bed, hitting the hard wood floor with a thud. Sitting up, she pressed a button on her TADS to stop the horrendous beeping, and she stood up and brushed dust off her clothes. She looked at the time on her TADS. She had set the alarm wrong; she had slept in and had 5 minutes to get to the earliest boat for the Sevii Islands. Packing all her things into her backpack, she ran out of the inn as fast as she could. Not even bothering to hop on her bike, she grabbed it by the handle bars and just ran at break-neck speed towards the harbour, dragging the bike behind her. Maddy skidded to a halt when she got to the harbour. She sighed; the boat was already off in the distance. “God dammit! That was the only boat I could get today!” She sat down on the sidewalk, completely pissed off. This mission wasn’t going anywhere. So far she had had nothing but bad luck. Standing up, she looked around, wondering what to do next. She could get Prinplup to Surf her to the Islands, but saying it was much easier than actually doing it. She was stuck and she couldn’t think of anything to do. She went to walk away, her back to the vast ocean, when someone put their hand on her shoulder. She jumped back, surprised, and turned around to find herself facing some old man. Maddy: “Uhhhhh… Can I help you?” Old Man: “I noticed ye were tryin’ ter catch dat boat over dere. You goin’ somewhere important?” Maddy thought about it. Could she trust this old guy and tell him where she was headed, or just try and lose him? She decided to go with the first option, in hopes that he’d be able to get her to the Islands. Maddy: “Yeah, that boat was going to the Sevii Islands and I really need to get there.” Old Man: “Sevii Islands? Tis a bit strange fer someone yer age ter be headed out dere.” Maddy: “I have relatives I was supposed to be visiting. Nothing strange about that. Anyways, I have to go figure out when the next boats will be arriving so… uhh… good-bye.” She went to walk off but the man quickly stepped in front of her. Old Man: “I can get you to the Islands. I have me own boat, ya see…” The man pointed towards a fishing boat over at the end of the harbour, it looked a bit worn down and Maddy wasn’t so sure she wanted to try and get to the Islands on it. Maddy: “I appreciate the offer, but no thanks… I really have to go.” Old Man: “I know she looks a bit worn down, but she works just fine. She lasted me 50 years, she ain’t gonna fail me now. Come on, I help younglings like you get to the Islands all the time. It’s the least I can do, now dat I’ve retired from fishin’.” Maddy sighed and gave the boat another look before taking the man up on his offer. Maddy: “Fine… Get me to the Islands. But I don’t have anything I can offer you in return.” Old Man: “Don’t worry ‘bout paying me back, I just wanna help. It’s all I can do, nowadays.” Maddy followed the man over to the boat. Stepping on board, she realized it swayed a lot in the water, a bit too much for Maddy’s stomach. She felt like she was going to be sick. She leant over the side of the boat, watching the water splash against its rusted side. Out of all the boats she had been on, this was the worse. It didn’t help at all when the boat suddenly lurched forward, moving out into open see. She tumbled over and hit her head off a random barrel. “Owwwieeee!” She rubbed her head and looked around. There was no turning back now. With a sigh, she got comfortable where she was sitting, the boat was too small and had nowhere where she could go inside, unless she wanted to go into the one cabin with that creepy old man and watch him steer the boat.
It was late in the afternoon when a sudden roll of thunder woke Maddy. It seemed she had dozed off. Rubbing her eyes, she looked up at the sky. The clouds were darkening fast, blotting out the sunlight. Maddy stood up, she didn’t like thunderstorms all that much, and she wasn’t too keen on being outside. Torrents of rain pelted down from the sky as Maddy ran across the small deck of the boat, heading towards the only cabin. When she got to the cabin, she went to wrench open the door, but it was locked. “God dammit!” She started pounding on the door. “Hey! Old guy, open up!” There was a flash of lightning and a crash of thunder, but nothing else. Perhaps the old man couldn’t hear her over the storm. Cursing under her breath, Maddy looked around, not knowing what to do. “I knew this was a bad idea! GOD DAMMIT!” She lost her footing on the wet deck of the ship, and fell right over the side of the boat, crashing into the water below. She swam to the surface of the water, drifting violently with the waves, gasping for air. “Why does this stuff always happen to me?!” She looked around, looking for something to hold on to. She wasn’t the strongest swimmer, and swimming in the ocean during a storm wasn’t exactly a strength of hers. Spotting a dark blotch in the distance, she concluded that it was an island and reached down into her pockets. She found the Pokeball she was looking for, and pressed the small button, releasing Prinplup out into the water. “Prinplup! Help me out here!” The penguin latched onto Maddy, and kept her afloat. Maddy pointed towards the island. “Let’s get over there! I don’t wanna bother getting back onto that accursed boat!” Together with Prinplup, Maddy started swimming towards the island. Every now and then, a large wave would crash down over them, forcing them a few feet underwater, salt water filling Maddy’s lungs. After a few minutes of fighting against the rough seas, Maddy couldn’t take it anymore, and her vision just went blank.
The sun shone brightly through Maddy’s eyelids; orange, red and yellow lights flashing inside her head. Flinching, Maddy shielded her eyes from the sun as she sat up. She was lying on a beach with pure white sand; the sound of the waves gently caressing the shore filled her ears. Prinplup was curled up next to Maddy. Smiling, she returned the Pokemon to its Pokeball. Maddy pulled herself to her feet, trying to figure out where she was. She was definitely on an island out somewhere in the middle of the ocean, and she definitely wasn’t out in the water trying to stop herself from drowning. Taking out her TADS, Maddy used it to check where exactly she was. A little map appeared on the screen. She guessed that the flashing red dot was her. She was on the middle island of a whole entire chain of islands. The words “Five Island” appeared at the top of the screen. Maddy was in the Sevii Islands. “Five Island… Wait, the old Team Rocket base is located here!” Maddy punched the air with triumph. She was finally starting to get lucky. An ideal spot for Team Clone’s hideout would be the old Rocket Base, and it was pure luck that Maddy happened to end up on the very island the base was situated. Taking out a small map that Maddy had retrieved back at Lilycove containing info on the Sevii Islands, she figured that she was on the south shore of Five Island and that the town would be just north-west of her current location. “I guess Grade 10 Geography is helping out after all, with all this map reading…” Folding the map and putting it in her backpack, Maddy set off in the general direction of northeast, hoping she wasn’t acting stupid and was going the right way for once. After about ten minutes of walking, Maddy came across a stretch of water. She sent out Prinplup. “Ok, Surfing time…” She hopped on Prinplup and they set off, swimming over the smooth crystal clear surface of the water. Maddy took in the scenes as Prinplup swam on. The Sevii Islands seemed to be a bit more exotic than the places she was used to, or at least Five Island did. “Maybe someday, I’ll go to all the Islands. That’d be pretty cool…” Maddy just zoned out, daydreaming about exploring all the Islands in the Sevii region, when she got hit in the face with a blast of water, falling off of Prinplup and landing in the cool water. Spluttering, she got to the surface and looked over to see a Squirtle standing on a rock. “You stupid turtle! Don’t go spraying me with water!” She dove underwater to avoid another Water Gun, which didn’t really help much seeing how it was even wetter underwater. Maddy swam back up to the surface, frowning. “Prinplup! Show this guy a real water move and use Hydro Pump!” Prinplup’s attack sent Squirtle flying off the rock and into the water. When Squirtle’s head appeared bobbing on the surface of the water, it didn’t look too happy. It ducked its head down, preparing a Skull Bash. “Prinplup! It’s about to use Skull Bash, so use Protect!” Sure enough, Squirtle launched itself at Prinplup, hitting it full force with its head, but Maddy’s quick thinking allowed Prinplup to sustain no damage from the usually powerful attack. “Ok, Prinplup, use Shadow Claw!” The attack hit Squirtle, causing critical damage, but still Squirtle got up, raring to go. It shot a freezing Ice Beam at Prinplup. Prinplup took the hit, still standing. “Prinplup! Use Strength!” Prinplup slammed into Squirtle with full force. Squirtle just floated there in the water, a bit stunned by the blow. Maddy took the time to throw a Pokeball at it. The Pokemon was sucked into the little ball, and now it was all down to chance. Shake… Shake… Shake… … Ding! Squirtle was caught! Maddy retrieved the Pokeball containing her new Pokemon and hopped back on Prinplup, continuing her journey to the town of Five Island. They were surfing for at least an hour, and things went smoothly. There were lots of sights to see. The waters around Five Island were teeming with life, wild Pokemon were all around them, swimming joyfully in the water. There were also many trainers, and they didn’t cause Maddy any trouble. The sun was shining brighter than ever, which was something Maddy usually hated, but today it was just great to be outside during nice weather again. Maddy stretched for a few minutes as they finally hit land. She stood up and ran around in circles a few times. She was completely pumped now. The exciting part of the mission was inching closer and closer and she couldn’t wait to go all hyper on Team Clone’s asses! Recalling Prinplup, she continued onward through the meadow that now stood before her. If her information was correct, the old Rocket warehouse was here somewhere, but she couldn’t decide whether she should go to the town or the warehouse first. “Whatever I see first, that’s where I’ll head!” The meadow seemed to go on forever. It was an endless mess of tangled green grass that was about the same height as Maddy. She couldn’t see over the grass because it was so tall; she was surprised it didn’t block out the sun. The grass was also growing close together, so every time Maddy tried to walk through it, it would snag on her backpack and she’d have to spend a couple minutes trying to pull herself from the fray. Maddy wandered around in the grass for about another hour. She was almost positive she was walking in circles, but then she came across something new. In fact, it was more like she run headfirst into something new. She eventually began panicking from being so lost, and started to run around when she collided with a wall of some sort. Pulling herself together, she examined what she had run into. It was the side of a building! A really worn down building, at that. Vines grew all up the rusted side of the building, engraving intricate natural patterns into the metal. Some parts of the wall were actually falling apart because of the amount of rust. Curious, Maddy decided to explore this new discovery. She walked around the building until she found a door. The door, by far, was the weirdest part of the entire building. The building was a grey and rusted type color, while it’s one door was a sleek silver sheet of steel with a little panel wired into it that Maddy assumed required a password to open. Examining the panel, she found that it had no buttons, so inputting a password wouldn’t work. It also had no slot to slide in a cardkey. “What the hell kind of contraption is this?” The panel was basically just a green screen with a grid. Wondering what would happen should she touch the screen, Maddy pressed her hand against it. The panel flashed, as if scanning Maddy’s hand and she backed away in surprise as the door opened. “Ah… Fingerprint scanning I guess… Wait… That’s so stupid! They make clones of everyone and then they put something like that on their door! Geez…” Maddy stepped in through the doorway, and the door shut behind her, leaving her to stand in a fully light room that was all steel. “Team Clone sure loves using steel to build stuff out of… I don’t even know if this is Team Clone’s hideout!!!” With a sigh, Maddy started down a nearby hallway. When she heard voices ahead of her, she jumped into a nearby broom cupboard and watched through a crack in the door as Brian and Hunter walked by. “Yeah… Definitely Team Clone… Anyways, I should avoid fighting Clone Brian and Hunter, that’s pure a**-kicking right there…” When she was sure both of those clones were gone, she ran out of the cupboard and continued down the corridor. Team Clone sure had cleaned up this place. They left it looking all horrible and shabby outside, but on the inside it looked all shiny and new. And it definitely was Team Clone’s hideout, she narrowly escaped being seen a few times, and the people she had hid from wore the Team Clone uniform, which obviously meant that they were just lowly peons of no great import. When she was sure the coast was clear once again, she jumped down out of her hiding place, which was in the vents this time, and started to wander the corridors again. This place really was like a maze. And the fact that it was filled with TC Peons didn’t help much. For about a half hour, Maddy wandered, carefully avoiding being spotted or trying not to make too much noise, when she came across a door that said “ELECTRICAL ROOM” on the front. “If was gonna shut down this place, I’m sure I’d try this room first!” She quietly opened the door, surprised that it was unlocked and almost yelled out when she heard voices right in front of the door on the other side. Peon 1: “I hate how we always get stuck running this thing!” Peon 2: “Stop complaining! If we do out job right, we’ll get a promotion!” Peon 1: “So? Even if we get a promotion, we’ll still be stuck operating everything! No one else in TC knows how to run this stuff!” Peon 2: “So true… Well, it’s not like our job isn’t important. Without us, this place would have no power.” Maddy smirked. So those two in there kept the place running. If she could take them out, then her job would be so much easier. Kicking the open the door the rest of the way, Maddy jumped into the room all epic-like. “I challenge you two to a double battle!” Both peons turned around in surprise. Peon 2: “Wow, she looks just like the commander!” Peon 1: “Commander? You mean the new one? Yeah, she does…” Maddy: “Stop talking and let’s fight! I wanna kick your asses!!!” Maddy sent out Prinplup and Charmander. The two Pokemon faced the peons, eager to fight. Both peons sent out their Pokemon, a Croconaw and a Bayleef. Peon 1: “Croconaw, use Crunch on that Charmander!” Croconaw chomped down on Charmander, causing some major damage, but Charmander shook it off. Maddy: “Charmander, use Fire Blast on that Bayleef!” The huge burst of fire hit Bayleef hard, doing major damage and burning it badly. Peon 2: “Bayleef! Use Razor Leaf!” The flurry of sharp-edged leaves buffeted Charmander and Prinplup. Prinplup took the most damage. Maddy: “Prinplup! Use Shadow Claw on Bayleef!” Prinplup’s attack KO’ed Bayleef, who was already weakened greatly by Charmander’s Fire Blast. Peon 2 sent out Charmeleon. Peon 1: “Croconaw! Take out that Charmander with Hydro Pump!” The torrent of water KO’ed Charmander. Maddy recalled Charmander and brought out Spooky, her Gastly, instead. Maddy: “Ghastly, use Shadow Ball on Croconaw!” The attack was critical, but still Croconaw stood, not showing any signs of tiredness. Peon 2: “Charmeleon use Strength on Prinplup!” Prinplup staggered back from the attack, but still stood strong. Maddy: “Take out Croconaw with Drill Peck!” The attack hit Croconaw, and the Pokemon fainted. Peon 1 sent out Ivysaur. Peon 1: “Ivysaur, use Razor Leaf!” The leaves hit both of Maddy’s Pokemon, and Prinplup fainted. Maddy sent out Spearow. Maddy: “Ok, Gastly, time to take out that Charmeleon! Use Hypnosis!” Gastly’s eyes shown blue, and hypnotic waves flew at Charmeleon, putting the Pokemon to sleep. Charmeleon missed its turn. Maddy: “Spearow! Use Sky Attack on Ivysaur!” Spearow’s attack dealt massive damage to Ivysaur, but it wasn’t strong enough to KO the Pokemon. Peon 1: “Ivysaur, use Vine Whip on Spearow!” Spearow shook off the hit. Maddy: “Ghastly, use Dream Eater on Charmeleon!” The attack sucked away at Charmeleon’s health, giving Gastly more energy. Still, Charmeleon stayed asleep. That made Maddy glad; Charmeleon was probably the strongest Pokemon she was against at the moment. Maddy: “Spearow! Take out Ivysaur with Drill Peck!” Spearow followed Maddy’s orders exactly. Ivysaur fainted from the blow. Maddy: “Ghastly, finish off that Charmeleon with Night Shade!” Charmeleon fainted from the attack, and neither Peon had Pokemon left to send out. Giving Maddy one last glance, they ran out of the room, and probably the entire building. Smiling in triumph, Maddy recalled both of her Pokemon and turned to face the machine behind her. It seemed to be providing power for the entire building, and it had lots of buttons on its control panel. She didn’t know how to shut it off. She was about to start randomly pressing buttons when he heard footsteps behind her. Maddy turned around, to find herself there. Clone Maddy: “Well, well, you’re back again I see…” Maddy: “I’m guessing you got promoted?” Clone: “Yeah, I did. My Pokemon are now the evolved forms of yours, so I guess the clone is now better than the original.” Maddy: “Yeah, well I’ll take you out anyways!” Clone: “So what’s the stakes now?” Maddy: “If I win, Team Clone has to abandon this place and stop harassing Aqua. But if I lose, then… uhhh…” Clone: “When I win, I’ll make you my slave! And you’ll act as a spy for Team Clone and help us destroy Aqua from the inside out!” Maddy: “That wasn’t what I had in mind but OK! Your leader isn’t going to be too happy when he hears you lost!” Clone: “My leader isn’t here. This is just one of our bases and I’m in command of it. Anyways, I know that your Pokemon have been weakened from fighting, so I’ll show you how pathetic you truly are and fully heal all of them and show you that you still can’t win!” There was a flash of light, and Maddy’s Pokemon were fully healed. Maddy: “Bring it!” Clone Maddy sent out Empoleon. Maddy stared at the Pokemon in awe, that was one of the Pokemon she had always dreamed of having. She sent out Pikachu. The mouse was small, compared to the other Pokemon. Clone: “Empoleon! Use Hyper Beam on that stupid mouse!” The large beam shone brilliantly as it hit Pikachu, sending the Pokemon flying into the wall and crying out with pain. Maddy: “Pikachu, shake it off and use Thunder!” Pikachu charged up energy, and sent out a powerful current of electricity, that hit Empoleon for a massive amount of damage. Empoleon still stood strong, but the attack it had used previously rendered it useless, it had to rest. Maddy: “Pikachu, use Iron Tail!” Pikachu’s tail glowed with a metallic sheen, and she slammed Empoleon with it. Clone: “Empoleon, take it out with Earthquake!” The ground shaked terribly, and the attack KO’ed Pikachu. Maddy recalled Pikachu and sent out Mankey in its place. Maddy: “Mankey! Use Dynamicpunch!” Mankey’s fist glowed with energy, and it went in to punch Empoleon. The attack nearly missed, but still Empoleon took great damage. It keeled over, it couldn’t fight anymore. Clone Maddy sent out Raichu. Clone: “Raichu! Use Strength!” Raichu slammed into Mankey, dealing great damage. Maddy: “Mankey, use Counter!” Mankey retaliated, and it’s attack hit Raichu twice as hard as Raichu’s Strength attack. Clone: “Raichu! Give that Mankey a taste of your Thunder!” Mankey was KO’ed by the powerful current of electricity. Maddy cursed under her breath and she recalled Mankey. She looked down at the Pokeball she had retrieved from her pocket. Maddy: “You’re me last hope…” She threw the ball, and Blaziken burst out, ready to fight. Maddy: “Blaziken, use Blaze Kick!” Blaziken leg burned with fiery power as it kicked Raichu hard, KO’ing the large mouse Pokemon. Clone Maddy glared at Maddy. Clone: “You’ve really done it now! I send out Blaziken! Now we can see which of us is best!” Clone Maddy’s Blaziken looked exactly like Maddy’s Blaziken in every way. This was going to be tough. Clone and real Maddy: “Use Sky Uppercut!” Both attacks met, and both Blaziken took the same amount of damage. At this rate, they’d both KO eachother at the same time. Clone: “Use Blaze Kick!” The attack hit Blaziken for little damage. Maddy’s mind was racing, she had to think of a way to win this battle. Maddy: “Blaziken, use Slash!” The attack did critical damage, but still Clone Maddy’s Blaziken stood strong. Clone: “Take it out with Hyper Beam!” Maddy’s Blaziken took the hit and was pushed back into the wall. It hit the wall with such force, the whole room seemed to shake and dust fell from the ceiling. And then Maddy thought of it. Maddy: “Blaziken! Use Earthquake!” Blaziken slammed it’s foot into the floor, and everything started to shake. Clone Maddy’s Blaziken fell over, fainted by the attack. Clone: “Damn you! I’m gonna get you back for this!” Clone Maddy turned to face the group of TC Peon’s that had accumulated to watch the battle. Clone: “We’re leaving, now move it!!!” Before Clone Maddy left the room, she pressed a button on the machine. It beeped a couple times and then just shut off. She gave Maddy one last look before there was a flash, and she was gone. Maddy smiled. “Once again, I have conquered meself!” Recalling Blaziken, Maddy left the room. All the lights in the warehouse were now off, but Maddy could here the building shaking. The attacks from the recent battle had made the structure really unstable. “I gotta get out of here!” Not bothering to get Pikachu out to use Flash, Maddy ran through the corridors, the rumbling of the building falling apart filling her ears. She found the exit, and pushed the door open, stumbling out into pure blinding sunlight. She fell over and looked over her shoulder as the building collapsed. “At least I managed to destroy it…” Standing up, Maddy brushed the dirt from her clothes and looked around. Her mission was complete, now all she had to do was get back to HQ. She quickly made her way to the town of Five Island, and stopped at the Pokemon Center to rest up. The boat that was meant to take her to the Sevii Islands in the first place was at port, along with the old man’s boat. It was great to know that he was alright. “I should go and thank that old guy…” Standing up, Maddy left the Pokemon Center, heading towards the harbour, deciding to give the old man a visit, and also deciding to stay and explore the Islands for a little while longer.
(I apologize if Razor Leaf doesn’t hit two targets in a double battle, I was really unsure about that)
