I once was in a near-accident. The driver hit a patch of black ice, and we did a 360° spin. Luckily, the local police knew about this area, so they gave reassurance and our car was guided to a safe spot along the edge of the road.

In university, because I drew political cartoons for the university school paper, I was called D.J., because of my signature. Later, when I was collegues with some local rock band members, I was called "BatChic" and signed my mail-art with this nickname. In my current comic strip, my character is called "Dee," and this the name on my DeviantArt account as well. heart

350. Have you ever gotten stung by a bee?
Yes. And it was quite traumatic. cat_3nodding
I was riding my bicycle to the local movie theatre, with my son, down a steep stretch of road to the theatre -- a chance to just coast at quick speed while watching for cars at the intersection, in case there was a need to slow down and stop, But instead of a car at the intersection, I collided with a bee -- and the impact at my throat was insane! When we got to watch the film at the movie theatre, I used my cold soft drink to dull the pain of the bee sting, which helped as a short-time remedy.
As soon as I returned home, I put a topical ointment on the swollen bee sting site and took BENADRYL® (diphenhydramine) to clear everything up.
