Speaking of the dance, we lazy moderators forgot to set up the voting polls for the nominees. 8DDD
Since it's a small amount of people, we shouldn't have a lot. Like the top three or four will be the ones that make the voting place.
AND I AM ALSO SORRY. about not posting at the Athenaeum. T^T"
I think I somewhat understand the plotline for Somerset but I got confused when reading everyone's posts since I couldn't tell the difference between the scientist and the subject. =w=" (Or maybe I'm more confuzzled then I thought and I misunderstood. o_e )

I bet Kasie will end up spilling the beans though. >_>; Doooooo eeeeeeet. Ahem. Sethrian and Angela are both hilarious (in completely different ways) when drunk. They're usually both older in stories and RPs than they are here. And Angela is a pirate... So I know well what they are like when inebriated. Seth gets sort of dopey and giggly. And sometimes sings. And hits on girls with really, really, REALLY bad pick up lines. Angela is alternatively very, very affectionate to nearby males, or very, very violent to anyone who annoys her. Rumor has it she once threw a serving wench through the window of a pub while drinking. Rumor also has it she once got a tattoo on her booty while drunk.... emotion_awesome ..... I MUST SEE ALL OF THIS. D:< I can't wait for the dance now! 8D Also, I feel a bit bad that I haven't posted in The Athenaeum. There were a lot of people in the previous guild who said they were interested but then they never joined. That guild was super-inactive though. And the captain was never around....And there was lots of past drama so some of the members had left. I want to find more people for Athenaeum but the guild forum as been kind of slow as far as people actually looking for RP guilds so I haven't been able to recruit as much. I wish we could recruit for guild RPs in Barton town. >.< Would make it a lot easier.

OwO I mean, I guess it's a little more strict than here as far as making sure your characters aren't over powered, or Sues. But you and Lightning would definitely be fine there. A lot of the stricter things were honestly made for people in the old guild that were just..... Like one girl who would rip off novels and TV shows for her characters. Or these two people who would use kind of offensive racial stereotypes for their characters. It was just so bad that we had to set up all these rules to just stop people from doing it. >.< (The racial thing was bad enough that I eventually had to talk to someone about it in PM because about four people came to me separately and told me they felt the character was kind of offensive). But you guys would not have a problem at all, I don't think.

Yeah, that's the one thing about relying heavily on pictures and post formats that bothers me--you can't always tell things from pictures. Like height. That one really bugs me because Angela is very short, where Seth is very tall. Angela is used to having to look up at people, where Seth tends to look down at them and sometimes this actually does affect how they respond to people. Or people forget to include things like how their character is dressed, or wearing their hair....because there's a picture right there in the post. But it's so weird for me to assume the character wears the same thing every day. ~___~

Someday, I will be a computer whiz where I'll invent dress up pictures for RP purposes! >D Or not. @A@ I guess all we can do is just hope that the other members have read the profiles (but I realize that even RPers aren't readers all the time) or at least mention the detail every now and then. Like with Vivian when I have her meet knew people. "This person might think she's a kid, but Vivian was pretty sure she's older than her grandparents." But I tend not to assume things from physical appearance. I just use pictures for a personality reminder sake. (scatter brained. ;^; )

It's fine. xD If you want, I can help out. =D Although if we set up polls, each person can only vote one times despite having more than one character. Would it be better if we limit everyone to one vote or should we just have them vote by using their characters and posting? (of course that takes away the anonymous factor though...)
