I think I signed something when I was younger that meant in a huge war, if our air force is depleted - they call me up. Some training camp thing I went to thinking it was fun.

I can't be in the armed forces, I think. Bad eye sight means I can't fly fighter planes, I think I might be too short to be in the other armed services (though I could be wrong...) and besides, I think they'd want my intelligence in chemistry to create various weapons of mass destruction or super soldiers.
Frankly, I'm hoping for the super soldiers.

My friend is in the Coast Guard and he loves it.
SV, I would think that you'd both be tapped at the same time, unless your boyfriend is younger than you by a few years or sommat.
