2Brolly4 Mizoko 2Brolly4 Mizoko "Winterpeg" is what we non-Prairie folks call Winnipeg. Because it gets colder and harsher there than anywhere else in the provinces. You don't have to be a non-Prarie folk to call it that. Practically everyone I know calls it Winterpeg. We call it that to make fun of you hicks! scream Hey well dat dere aint nice tuh say! Hmm, I can't think of any names we might have for you right now. Although I do know we make fun of BC for all the damn drugs you do. Don't blame me if our land is so fertile, it makes your wheat farms look like backyard gardens. Anyways, let's make fun of the Maritimers and Quebecois!

I mention it all the time. neutral Thank you. biggrin Yah, see. I'm sure I knew, but it never got to central processing. It's a good thing you're hot, because you're brain's getting to be a bit slow. Must be the old age. lol

My friends and I have counted 20 times in one sentance. eek My grade 11 English teacher's a Newfie. I figured it out by the way she says her "ar"s. We found out by interrogating him the first day. We were originally supposed to have another teacher, but he's out on medical leave for at least the entire first semester. So after a week of subs, we got him for the rest of the semester, and the first day he got in, a few people just kept asking questions about him. He's a good teacher, but I wish he was a little tougher. There are a few people in my class, who if I were a teacher I would've kicked out of my class LONG ago. But he doesn't do anything. He's finally starting to be a little snappy with a few of them. One guy was being a jerk and started going on about something and counted to ten. My teacher's reply was "Oh, I'm amazed you're able to count that high." And he kept teaching. Not a huge burn, but it shut him up.
