Camwen Exxos Camwen Exxos Camwen I don't know if anyone is left.. but hey! heart Hope everyone is enjoying the season and has a happy New Year! ((((hugs)))) *hug* I celebrate your appearance! Yay! Seeing you still hanging around here makes me smile. How are things going for you lately? Anything good happening in your life? Chugging along as best as I ever manage to. My health was starting to improve a bit, got my exercising on an upward curve, but then plateaued because I started developing a bleeding condition. So I guess I am still healthier than ever since it stopped progress instead of reversing it, but we're still searching for why I am bleeding so much and am anemic. So besides finishing my novel, figuring out what is going on there is my big goal for 2016. Chugging along is a good thing. I do hope you find out what is causing the bleeding - and I hope it's something that can be treated. I would love to read a novel that came from that brain of yours. Sounds like an admirable goal. It would be so much easier if my mother was not entirely estranged from her family and they were not a bunch of horrible people that do not talk to each other. My mother possibly have Von Willebrand's (but we can't afford the tests to see if that's the case) and five people on her mother's side had bleeding disorders of which only one is sort of known to be hemophilia. So basically we are on this sort of shots in the dark, running tests that can be covered by medicaid, and cross-referencing the results. I doubt I could sell it, so probably PDFs for everyone when it is done.

Camwen Well published or not I believe it's something that would be huge amounts of awesome. smile Oh and I'm loving your current avy!! It was one of those happy accident avatars. I got confused as to which items had what in them and half of it snowballed together as I picked similar things to what I was looking for. Then I added the horns, ears, face, and tail as it went very aristocratic demon. In other news. MOLD! Apparently the massive plumbing problem we had in August (the water softener diaphragm burst spreading softener resin through the entire house) had a sub-par repair in my shower mixer canister. It had been leaking into the wall since and created a toxic mold field. The saving grace was that it was leaking into a closet that is rarely opened, so the mold was essentially contained there. But in the process the wall between my room and bathroom has been demolished and a lot of things have been damaged and lost (about half of which not due to the mold but due to the plumbers and mold people being sloppy, stomping goits that don't pay attention to their surroundings). I have been cut off for days, barely slept since this started, and was just today permitted to shower in my mother's bathroom. I am smacked down and doing my best to function, but it has been a destabilizing event to say the least.

We recently had an issue with one of our bathrooms where a whole section of the wall needed to be replaced. Anything that can go wrong due to plumbing issues or just a damp environment is so disgusting and expensive. Regarding your avy - aristocratic demon is the perfect way to describe it 3nodding Oh and I never knew how much I missed some idiot being called a goit until I started chatting with you again. rofl rofl

Anything that can go wrong due to plumbing issues or just a damp environment is so disgusting and expensive. We got at least a sort of window on the wall repair today. So they'll patch it Saturday and then the texturing/painting/baseboard is a nebulous "later in the week." The offending shower is now intermittently dripping, so I am worried that the repair to that is no good, but the plumbers have written it off as fixed. Camwen Regarding your avy - aristocratic demon is the perfect way to describe it 3nodding Oh and I never knew how much I missed some idiot being called a goit until I started chatting with you again. rofl rofl It is surprising how few people use "goit" these days. I imagine that there is some sort of very telling aspect of my usage on a linguistic and sociological level.

I've read it in a book - but in my lifetime I've maybe heard it once or twice out loud. I suppose it's similar to "git" but seems to me anyway to be a more serious insult.

Goit is a merging or git and goiter, so it is something akin to "a contemptible fool hanging around my neck."

Lainn -Pokes head in- Hello, everybody! Long time no see! I'm so glad to see that this guild still has activity in it! How is everyone? Getting by bit by bit. My wall is patched, but the shower is now dripping, so if they have to replace the valve, they have to demolish the wall all over again. Seriously, why do homes have shower taps embedded in the walls?! gonk Awful design.

I must have read that somewhere before as that was the difference I perceived but couldn't quite remember. That and the obvious similarity with the word "Goiter" which is a disease that affects the neck area.

That and the obvious similarity with the word "Goiter" which is a disease that affects the neck area. I think that is why I use it so much, because it is a little word with a lot of punch. In other n***s, my wall is patched up and the repairs seem to be all holding steady aside from the shower lever being a little wiggly – which might just be because it is honed out with a new canister and enough grease to get a whale into a hamster. I can probably get my spaces back together starting tomorrow. My father left for my grandmother's and to possibly start the auction circuit with Scottsdale. I tried to goof off in Daz3D as a way to relax, updated to the newest version just to find out that it was sloppily pushed out for the operating system above mine; so my relaxation attempt turned into a frantic panic trying to revert to the old version without having everything go to s**t. But now I am going to get to do something I have not managed in almost two months now – a full night's sleep.
