I don't think so... It automatically takes it out of my bank account. I mean, there's a chance there wasn't enough, but usually they send you a message when you're behind in paying. I can still read messages sent to me while I was gone, and there's nothing from them.
It's probably that they assume you're not going to use it? I don't know. I've heard it's happened to a few students who come back after a three month summer break.
