Those gi sets aren't Gi sets. You'd see a ton of people wearing something like that in the time period. Not to mention that those are only ONE variety of that so called "Gi" set.
Weak.
Those wraps are the closest thing. The gloves.. those gloves aren't a nod to MMA or any martial arts. They make me think more of rollerderby than anything else.
So back to what I was saying.. there is no Martial arts stuff.
