And, I have been thinking about ways to kill them since I discovered your vampire RP thread.

THen I stopped thinking that it just was a waste of time anyway.

Outside of reinventing histroy, my desire to destroy them does not affilate with time I wish to spend contemplating that.

Doesn't change the fact that it is a fledgeling. The agian, if I am reading your posts correctly, arn't you guys training him extra hard to make him more potent? Or is that just common ritualized training?

actually in teh game, teh biggest threat to vampires...are aother vampires. usually, teh older ones purposefully, and diliberately, pit those in the smae age range against eachother, and thus, avoid them ganging up on teh older ones. however, those older than those guys (old in this case being 400-600) usually run goverments, organized religions (exception of the Society of Leopold, that they do manipulate from time to time) and devoted most of thier resources to that, while hiding behidn a virtual army of soldiers/police/security systems. this woudl be the typical 700-800 range. Lynx nad up..have powers thier lesser couldn't hope to counter with a hell of a lot of help, centuries of planning, and luck, are often so out of touch with teh times that they become deatached from the world (Inconnu) or go into Torpor, where thier power still flows over mortal servants. the REALLY old ones, (Antidiluvians) remember the times of biblical era (speaking th time of Noah and earlier here), and run everything, in which all other vampires are pawns in an enternal war for reasons they can't understand and probably never will, the Jyhad.

Now the kicker. no one know what the hell Caine is up to at all. and Caine power is akin to diety. he can do what he wants, when he wants, how he wants. he is the master of all vampiric powers, and can nullify anyone else's at a whim. Some think that he is just waiting for Armageddon, other think he is sorry for what he unleashed and trying to reign it in, others think he's in hiding from his 13 grandchildren who all want a peice of him and eachother.

Could Caine stop the cannablism and infighting and sect wars and intra clan wars and the older vampires oppressing nad manipulating youngers and they younger than them and so on and possibly even get a balance so humanity and vampire coudl live in harmony? probably. why doesn't he? who knows.


And this does not include the conflicts with Faerie folks, or Werewolves or Magi.

He's stronger than some of teh fledglings because he has Xearus blood in him. But he is training extra hard although most of it is just routine. Calin began as an abandoned fledgling until one night Darvien sent him out after him. Xearus saw it as a burden until he and Calin ended up locked in the silver chamber together. A week of that and they were inseperable. Then by Lynx's command Calin became Xearus' true fledgling.
