Auriga La Shock I hate word problem involving distance and time. I entirely do not care how long it takes for Jimmy and Sally to reach Boston at a speed of 55mph. In fact, let's just pretend they both got into a horrific car crash moments after leaving the house and receive serious injuries leading to their tragic deaths. There. Auriga La Shock Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Auriga La Shock Amu Tsukiyomi-sama I am bored, hungry for skittles and hershey's cookies and cream bars and don't have either nearby....not that I am really supposed to eat them anyway....AND WHY DID SKITTLES TAKE OUT LIME AND PUT IN AWFUL GREEN APPLE!?!?!?!?! What type of skittles are they? Regular Skittles. The lemon, strawberry, orange, grape and what used to be lime, kind. I'm going to have to go to a supermarket and investigate this xD It's evil and horrible! The bags say "now with green apple!" I hate them for this!!!!!!! (yes, that many exclamation points are necessary)

Amu Tsukiyomi-sama xx..Badwolf..xx I tried doing homeschooling when I was 17, but it ended up not working out (since my depression/anxiety is stress-related, I wanted to take on less subjects at a time -- which they said was fine when I started, but by the end of the year it was basically "pick up an extra five subjects or get out" SO.) And psh, same. xD I'm 20 and am yet to have a paying job sweatdrop *has been involved in a few different volunteering things in the last 2 years in an attempt to reconnect with society* sweatdrop Oh, in my case, we did "unschooling".....basically, I learned whatever I wanted however I wanted.... BEcause the state where I live doesn't check up on the homeschoolers, doesn't require them to take tests, nothing. It was basically "*registers to legally homeschool* *goes home* *is never visited by anyone from the state government* *years later; applies to a college* *gets in*" It was rather nice, actually... That does sound nice emotion_8c Here, education is all about the tests. OTL There is no way to get around it. I guess since education is standardised country-wide. You've got to have tests and scores and documentation proving those scores to be able to get anywhere. OTL It's ******** stupid, really, since they've proved that there are MANY types of intelligence, but they only test based on a very limited few. So some people who are very clever but not in the ways that fit the system... just get screwed over by it. It's like a one-size-fits-all and if you don't fit, too ******** bad. emotion_awesome *has a lot of resentment for the education system ahahaaaa*
