Tac blinked in, humming a rather upbeat tune to himself that not even he could remember. He smelled of cologne and it looked as if he had attempted to slick his hair back, but the front was being a b***h like always. Instead of his normal attire he wore a black suit with a red tie and black dress shoes. It seemed he was going out. He polished his GPD badge slightly, still not knowing where he was, talking to himself, "Dinner reservations: check, Limo: check, Champagne: check, Check: check."

He glanced over at Nyx and then spun around full circle, "Woah, didn't even notice poppin in here. Not much, getting read to go out with C...someone. Haven't seen you around here in a bit, if I remember correctly anyhow."

He shrugged as if there had been nothing significant, "Same old, same old really, you know, complete insanity driven by the touch of evil to the point of devolution. Then there was the cleansing where Malazar shot me and the other me nearly died. Oh! And fighting with that one guy and turning him into a walking laser cannon. Oh, and then there's Cora. You met her? Amazing woman. Comes from the 3100's, law enforcement officer. Amazing woman. Comes from a sterile world but she's learned so much, mostly here in the Brink. Absolutely amazing woman. Sterile world, no emotion, gotta suck, but damn she's learning quick. I wonder if she knows how to dance..."

Tac blinked once or twice, "Dear god, I was babbling again wasn't I? Well...um, yeah, everybody can be amazing once you get to know them. Um, yeah, like you're amazing, I'm amazing, we're all amazing!" Yeah, if that cover didn't just give him away the fact that he was now blushing likely wouldn't help.

Tac narrowed his eyes at her and considered throwing a chair at her, but decided that likely wouldn't be the best thing. He sighed, giving up, "So, what if I do? Its not a crime is it? Ok, let me rephrase that, its not a crime here or in my time, is it?"

He glanced at her, then to what she was poking at and moved to lean against the bar next to the crushed rose, glancing back at it, "Crushed, eh? Usually I could do something about that, but not here." He let out a sigh, losing interest in the crushed rose, "Nyx, I've known you the longest out of anyone at the Brink, how many people have you known to...not ever come back to the Brink?"

Lots of people, but they were either people I was less than fond of, or one-or-two time visitors who I never got to know. None of the people I've gotten really close to have stopped coming... ::She paused, sighing heavily.:: 'Cept Sho, kinda. He came back once, somewhat recently... but I dunno if he'll ever come back again. He was gone for so long the first time...
