"You're from another time, aren't you?" Kenryoku asked before suddenly bursting with speed and flying ahead of Soy.
He would surprise her, for he bet that was a secret the woman was keeping well hidden.

Soy blinked, before she concentrated to chase after Kenryoku, a faint white aura forming about her body. She opened her mouth, before closing it, only to open it again. But try as she might, she was unsure whether or not to give such an answer.
"You're very observant," she finally commented.

Soy smiled, though was still hesitant to speak the absolute truth. One could say she was so trusting, and that would lead to her downfall some day.
"How far back?" she asked.

"Centuries... Eons..." Kenryoku shrugged, "I do not know really. I was sent here to prevent something. From another planet no less. But what about you? Surely you do not expect to keep the truth hidden from me for long." he replied with a smirk.

Soy raised a brow, tilting her head slightly so that she could get a better look at Kenryoku.
"No, I suppose not. After all, you told me your farfetched story..." she joked, before gazing to what was in front of her.
"I'm from the future," she answered bluntly. "Couple of centuries I guess, we didn't know the exact time until I came here."

"And, you are here to stop something as well I take it?" Kenryoku asked. "How coincidental...."
In the back of the Half-Elf's mind however, he began to wonder.
Was she the threat that Konton said would try and prevent him from his mission?

"You could say that," Soy shrugged, her face taking on a solemn, grim expression. "Just trying to prevent the bleak outcome of what would be my future...Though part of me is here just to learn, I guess, on what my ancestors did when it came to a crisis."
She didn't feel much like getting in depth on her story, and she certainly didn't want to mention the part that her actions could lead to the fact that she, nor the guys, would never be needed to be created in the future, and thus would never exist.

"Then we both have glorious missions of the upmost urgency." Kenryoku replied before nearly being knocked out of the sky.
"Soy!" Ashuri shouted, stopping just on the other side of the two, having zipped right in between Kenryoku and the woman from the future.
"Soy, you must come with me, I..." the woman stared at the Half-Elf for a long time. "Daemon..."
"What?" Kenryoku asked, having heard her words.
"You are a Daemon of legend."
The Half-Elf looked from Ashuri to Soy and back again. "Perhaps I have overstayed my welcome."

Soy blinked, letting herself float back from the group.
"Ashuri," she called to the woman, almost cursing herself for having not sensed the woman's appearance. Was she too caught up in her own past to have let her guard down? But the way she acted hostile toward Kenryoku.
"Daemon?" she almost stuttered the word, turning to Ken. "No wait...She doesn't understand. Ashuri, funny thing is, he was just on his way with me to come see you."

Following the growing sound of the music, Leif weaved through the crowds and streets, his heart pounding, eyes searching and ears straining.
Maeve was back to her tin flute, playing a simpkle meldoy because she was too tired to sing and Thom could easily add on to her tune and turn it in to something that made passerbys stop and stare at least for a moment. Not that he noticed, seeing how his eyes were closed so he could further concentrate on his music.
Looking up from her instrument, Maeve spotted a familiar mop of red hair.
Maeve's shriek surprised Thom, almost causing him to stumble as her played. Almost. Annoyed, he opened his eyes to send an angry glare towards her, when he saw the cource of his twin's outcry.
Maeve ran towards Leif, giving him a hug in mid-jump. She kissed him on the cheek and tears sprang up in her eyes, "Leif, Leif, Leif. We didn't know if we'd ever see you again. I missed you so much."She hugged him tighter, her face buried in his chest.
It was a mark Thom's affection's towards his adpoted brother when he stopped playing. Leif approached the streecorner (Mave still clinging to his side) and the brothers embraced. Maeve was forced to let go, but retunred a split second later, jumping on Leif's back. Her arms hugged him tightly as the redhead's arms held her up in a piggyback position.
"I missed you too, really.And they'll be time enough for stories, I promise. But you're choking me!" Leif gasped.
Thom however was focused on the figure that had accompined Leif. Following the gaze of his two different cloured eyes, Leif smiled, "This is Trunks; he he;pedme find you guys. Trunks these are my siblings, Maeve and Thom."
Still on Leif's back (though the hold of her hug had lessned) Maeve extended an arm for a handshake,"Whoah!" she said, her eyes widening,"Your hair matches Thom's coat."
Thom who was in the process of packing away his violin and flute looked up and rolled his eyes. He signed something quickly, though his expressive face showed more than a hint of sarcasm. Leif laughed as he translated,"My sister the Amazing Diplomat."

"He's a Daemon." Ashuri replied, her eyes narrow. "My nephew once told me... a myth from my home's past. Daemons were responsible for the near destruction of Tarnbsei. It's near fall into the hands of Demons from the underworld." she shook her head, "Get away from him, Soy. He's dangerous!"
Kenryoku frowned, "So you are Ashuri?" he asked, piqing the woman's sudden interest. "I came here to speak with you specifically. May we go somewhere to talk?"
"Alone? No." the woman answered.

A foreign world, one not kept in the records of the Professor's database. Soy felt herself confused, but knew that she would obey Ashuri's own warnings, for she was part of her blood after all.
The way Ken spoke, he did not seem dangerous as all. But even so, a wolf could be disguised in a sheep's skin.
The Saiya-jin frowned. "I don't see him as the enemy Ashuri, so calm down. He doesn't bring any harm, not from what he told me."

Kenryoku looked at Ashuri, watched her closely.
This frightened the woman to her very core.
"I bring you a warning first of all." Kenryoku spoke. "A powerful Demon, Konton, seeks to kill you himself. You and those you love will cause an uprising on Tarnbsei the likes of which the world has never seen before. I KNOW this. For he has forseen it. I come to you... to try and end this blood shed. I come to you, to save my son's life."
Suddenly, the Half-Elf touched Ashuri. One finger to her forehead. The woman fell, only to be caught by Ken as he turned and sped off into the distance, not giving Soy a second thought.
His speed, could hardly be matched.

Trunks smiled, shaking Maeve's hand and bowing slightly. "We would have been here sooner, but it just seemed that you two were hard to find. Leif has been with my family most of the day, and, once dinner was... well... dismissed, I decided to help him look for you both." he glanced to Thom as the young man signaled.
'He is mute...' the Half Saiya-jin thought, but smiled to him.
"It is a pleasure to meet you both. Come on, let's get you some dinner back at home."
