Well, considering I couldn't have any chance whatsoever to do something like that in real life, it amuses me to do it elsewhere. ^^ I am after all six feet tall and nearly 220 pounds.. so it's rather difficult to do any sort of sneaking effectively.

Yeah, I suppose that would amuse you in your current situation...
Oh! Where are my manners? sweatdrop I forgot to introduce myself! Hey everyone, I'm.. well, you can already see what my username is, so I'll just say what my usual nicknames are. I normally go by Sporky, Flame, not usually Ninja but some people call me that.. anyway, most derivations of my name can be used and I'll know you're talking to me. 3nodding I was invited by Jack, to help with his roleplay and to help the guild in general with posting. Hopefully I'll get to see more of you guys around! blaugh

Okay. So the library I go to has this tendency to have the first few books in a series, but not the rest. I can deal with that when it's a new series (unless, of course, they have the latest book, but none of ones in the middle). It's slightly frustrating when it was a series that got put into a chronicle in the 80's. And it's not that they're checked out. Checking the computer shows any checked out books, holds, etc. and they just don't have a copy.
So to combat this, I'm gonna ask all of you to suggest a book. Then, I'm bound to find at least one that my library will actually have.

Already read it, and about half of the rest of the series. I own Pearls of Lutra. Couldn't hurt to reread as it has been ages and I need a refresher before I start on some of the more recent books, like Taggerung.
Thank you, though, Gin! I've seen a lot of those on the shelves, so I know they're definitely available, if not the specific title.

Well, most anything from the DragonLance Series should work just to kill time and such. I'd personally recommend Dragons of a Setting Sun, and the other two in that trilogy.

You need a book to read? Well... if you haven't already decided on one, Ella Enchanted was a pretty good read. It's been -forever- since I've read it though, but it was still good. (The underline is for book titles or something?)

Jack-- the Dragonlance books are the precise ones that the library I go to have an issue having the entire series. Of the Chronicles, they only had Dragons of Autumn Twilight, and while they do have several others within the Dragonlance world, they don't appear to have a full set of any of the subseries. That would annoy me to begin and not be able to finish.
Sporky-- that's a book I actually shunned in like...fourth grade because of how many of the popular girls liked it. I also am debating with myself whether or not it would actually occupy any time. I can very easily burn through a 300 page book in a day if the level of the writing is aimed toward adolescents. I'll skim through it at the library, as its popularity will probably ensure there's a copy available, however, and see.
(Yes, underlining a book title is the proper way to do it when you're writing.)

Ahhh, I see... ^^; Sorry for saying that then. They're usually available at the East Millcreek Library though. Also, you can always ask the library to have it sent there. I did it last year when I was trying to read Atlas Shrugged. Now that I have my own copy though, I don't have to worry about that.. lol
As for Ella Enchanted, the reason I've read it was because my dad told me I had to find a decently long book to read that had adolescent speech and such in it, to see if I would get out of my rut at the time of simpler, smaller books. It was pretty good if I remember correctly. Sporky, how long has it been since you've read it?
Aside from that though.. if you really need to kill some time, why not reread all the HP books? That way you'll have it fresh in your memory when the 7th comes out next month. 3nodding
