Selene nodded at Estelle's words.'I hope so too, yet I think I could be happy being single.' She thought to herself before speaking again. "Maybe one day and no need to rush it though. Considering how Kahiau and Dea had officially became a couple tonight, there's hope for it at any age. I think I could be happy being single, as long I get to to play the lovable, fun, crazy aunt with with any of Kahiau's kids... Plus, also to have that role to any of your future kids with Elios." The ranger said with a teasing look, knowing that her friend loved Elio.
"So what was your favorite pokemon to find or see in the Crown Tundra?" She asked her, not having been to that area of Galar yet.'Perhaps I will get there one day and with some friends this time around and not by myself.' Selene thought even though she still wanted to go back there with Sly but having a feeling that won't happen...

"How do you transition so easily from 'Maybe someday, no rush' to 'My future kids with Elio?'" Estelle asked, a little exasperated with her friend's teasing. "But yeah, you'll be the best aunt ever." The blonde added with a smile. "For Kahiau's kids at least - I'm a long way from ready to think about having kids yet." It crossed her mind that Selene may have thought by 'fairy tale ending' she meant 'fairy tale wedding,' so Estelle tried to clarify: "And not all fairy tales end with weddings ya' know. Though come to think of it they don't all end happily either, so let's just forget that - what I was trying to say is: I hope you find happiness, and maybe you'll get to share that happiness with a true love of you own - If he's lucky." She added with a wink. "As for your other question," the Pokémon astronomer added, "How am I supposed to choose a favorite? There were Gothitelle. It's always interesting to see how they study the stars, though kinda creepy that they can predict when people are going to die. We got to see a Gigantamax Laparas that can create auroras with it's song. Oh! And a Drakloak fussing over a baby Dreepy it was caring for. There were just so many."

"Because I can. I do hope that you and Elio will have that happy fairy tale ever after. Since it seems that my heart had to choose someone that doesn't want me in that way..." She said with a sad sigh, not knowing what was going on inside Sly's head. Selene hated how her emotions were out of whack due to him."I hope you find your happiness Estelle." The Ranger said with a sad smile before looking up at the sky for a bit.
Then Selene grinned after hearing Estelle's response to her her question. She pulled out her phone and clicked on the box link. She switched out Rapidash with Dragapult for now. Then she let Dragapult out of it's ball. "That's true and it's a hard choice. I wished that I could've have seen that but I didn't. That's adorable that you got to see that! The Dragapult that I have was a Drakloak when we first met back in Galar." She said as the said pokemon nodded its head and floated around the two ladies in lazy circles."It kept the Dreepy and the several Rookidees in line while I was trying to find a shiny Rookidee..."Selene faltered slightly as it seemed that almost everything made it way back to that Reckless Rhyhorn.... The shiny Rookidee would have been a present for him when they were to meet in Lumiose City.... But Sly never appeared....

Crystal was in awe of Kahiau's home. Sebastian stays alert as he smelled the food that was being made. Crystal hears Kahiau's voice asking if they had any questions. "I was hoping to find a rockruff to add to my team. Dan told me you know where to find them, so I was hoping you could help." She says as she sits in a chair. Sebastian stays by her side laying down with his head in Crystal's lap. Crystal pets his head gently as she waits for an answer.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Elio's 'Happily Ever After' is: 'And then they went to Sinnoh and defeated Heatran. And then they went to Johto and defeated Ho-Oh. And then they went to Unova and defeated Reshiram. And so on and so on.'" Estelle said, starting to wish she hadn't used the phrase 'fairy tale ending,' now that Selene insisted on using it on her. The Pokémon Astronomer tried to imagine what her own 'happily ever after' would be. "And as far as my happiness goes, I don't know what else I could ask for, either. Our journeys together give me plenty of opportunities to study the stars and how Pokémon relate to them, even if Elio makes me want to wring his neck sometimes..." She said, as she couldn't help thinking of the times Elio's recklessness, lack of tact, and occasional pranks got on her nerves, but deep down Estelle knew there was no one she'd rather have by her side.
While the Pokémon astronomer had been trying to wrap her mind around her friend's comments, said friend had been using her Box Link and eventually responded to her story about Drakloak by bringing out a Dragapult and describing their adventures together. The stories had both girls smiling, until Selene mentioned a shiny Rookidee. Most people might easily have missed the way the blue-haired ranger faltered at the end, but Estelle knew who that Rookidee had been meant for. She patted Dragapult's nose, and said, "Such a a reliable partner." Then giving her friend a squeeze she playfully added, "Who needs boys when we Pokémon?"

Dan didn't have to wait long for the door to open. He could hear Kahiau's voice from inside, and then the Kahuna opened the door and greeted Dan and Crystal. Dan would have mentioned that Crystal came seeking a Rockruff, but the girl was quick to voice her own intentions so that took it out of Dan's hands. "You have a restaurant? That sounds good!" The spiky-haired trainer wouldn't say no to free food! Neither would his Pokemon, he knew. He followed Kahiau inside. He saw that there was another person here, a woman in a wheelchair. There was another Rockruff here, but it looked like it belonged to the blonde woman, as well as a Ninetales and a Pikachu. Dan went and seated himself on the couch. Rockruff had run right in and yipped happily at Kahiau, jumping up on his legs before then bolting around the house. Jolteon looked like he was going to give chase, but he decided that would be a destructive thing to do. Pidgeot walked in and then stood off to the side to get out of the way. When she saw where Dan went, she moved to go stand beside the arm of the couch nearest him. Lickitung came in behind everyone. "Did I hear there's going to be food?"
Location: Kahiau's house with Crystal, Sebastian, Yuki, Kahiau, Dea, Lightning, Jasmine, and Icicle. Wearing/Possessions: Dark blue shirt, dark blue jeans, black sneakers with white trim, small black pouch of supplies.
"He would want you there right by his side, wherever he goes for his 'Happily Ever After'. The few times I remember him complaining when you couldn't go with him somewhere... He was being a restless git, complaining to me about it, whether in person or text message." Selene said as Elio had been a pain in the rear when Estelle couldn't go with him."I threw him out my apartment once, due to him being too loud one night." The Ranger said, remembering that night as it was the worst funk that she had seen him like that in all the time that she had known him. "Sometimes I'll admit that I envy your happiness with Elio, being able to spend almost every day by his side. You are always the happiest when he's around and that goes for him as well. I miss having that with Sly, yet our paths had changed so that I'm not sure that we will have that again, not to same degree as it was before." She responded back to her friend, knowing it would be wiser to not get her hopes high after their meeting today.
She watched as her Dragapult interacted with Estelle and smiled at that."I'm glad we have them. They helped me to get back on track with life and gave me good company when I need it." Selene said as Dragapult came back towards her. Both of the Dreepys came and brushed their heads against her cheeks to comfort her. Then they went back over the Dragapult and laying on it's head again. Dragapult came over the Selene and wrapped around the Ranger to give her a hug before returning to her ball."Dragapult and her Dreepys are the most affectionate out of my ghost type pokemons."Selene commented as she did have a smile on her face after they had shown that affection.

"Aye, I do know where to find them across the islands in the wild. I do have a few that I have been training like Dan's Rockruff has been trained. I trained them to know how to get to the Pokemon Center, the Ranger station, and my place to get help for you if you need help and not able to reach those places yourself from anywhere on on Poni Island. Yet would you rather catch your own rockruff on your own? Or would you want one of mine? " The kahuna asked Crystal, wondering how she would respond to his questions.
Then Kahiau turned his attention to Dan."Yes, I do and it's up in a huge tree as well. " Kahiau grinned and chuckled at Rockruff as it yipped happily as he was jumping up on his legs, before bolting across the house. "Glad to see you again as well little one." He commented to Dan's Rockruff.
"I'm Kahiau if Dan hadn't already told you what my name was." He said as he realized that he hadn't introduced himself to her or introduced Dea to them. "This lovely lady over here is Deanna, my girlfriend. She tends to go by Dea for short as well. How are the sweet potatoes chips coming along?" Kahiau asked Dea as he started to put a few slices of poni radishes on into the frying pan.
Deanna gave him a nod, no that would certainly not be tonight. She didn't know what he would be doing, while she and the other girls were spending time together. However, since she would be occupied spending time with the girls, it definitely made sure there would be no kissing for tonight. It was alright, it would be worth the wait, when they could do so again. She listened to him explain what he wanted to do, she was curious to try it when they could eat them. She then heard the barking, hearing Kahiau speak about it was probably the Rockruff she gave someone earlier today. So as she continued to cut the food, she listened in. It seemed the girl with Dan wanted a Rockruff too, she couldn't say she blamed her. She looked over to Jasmine, who barked at the idea excitedly. She made a motion to Lightning and Jasmine to make room for their guests, both doing so readily.
"It is a pleasure to meet both of you. I am sure Kahiau will be able to help you get a Rockruff. And any help you may need, if you go the wild route, let us know. I may have helped him with the training. Also, they are almost ready for you to cook them, love,"she responded.
Ooo, new people, how exciting. I wonder what they are like,'Lightning spoke to the girl with sandy brown hair.

"Elio can be like that, I've had to kick him out of my place sereral times for being loud." Estelle replied to her friend's statements. "Come on now - do I really seem that happy when I'm with Elio? You make us sound like some lovey-dovey couple." She responded with a blush at the way Selene described the two of them. The ranger seemed so certain about Estelle's relationship with Elio, which felt strange to the astronomer, who wasn't so sure about it herself. I'm used to everyone thinking we're a couple, and if I'm honest 'just friends' really doesn't cover some of the things we do together... The many nights of sitting side by side watching the stars together crossed her mind again. ...He's just so impossible to talk to at times. But I guess that's nothing compared to what Selene's been through...

"Yeah, he is that at times." Selene commented looking back at her friend."Not all all the time but it's more subtle with you two. If wasn't for the fact I know y'all so well, I see the subtle stuff but someone else might not." Selene said as she wondered if it seemed to everyone else that she and Sly were in love with each other before they left to go to Galar and Kalos long ago.
"Did it seem to y'all that Sly and I were possibly in love before we left those years ago? I was trying to figure out my feeling for him before we parted ways." She let out a sigh, knowing that she had been due to her reaction him leaving her behind. Selene wasn't sure if she wanted to hear what Estelle had to say to that question but it was already out there. 'At this point, he would just deny it and keep pushing me away. For reasons unknown......' The Ranger thought before looking at the setting sun.

Crystal smiles hearing that Kahiau knew where to find them. "Either way is fine." She says as Sebastian stays close not liking so many people being around his trainer at once. He knew better than to trust just anyone with Crystal, due to how famous her parents were back home. He wasn't about to drop his guard just because things seemed okay for now.
Crystal looks over at Deanna and says "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind." with a smile as she pets Sebastian's head which was in her lap giving him a smile as she does. Sebastian nuzzles her hand in a gentle way, not wanting to ever be separated from Crystal or Yuki.

"After everything that's happened, back then seems so long ago." Estelle reflected, "I was really just enjoying being with my friends, not even thinking about the future - I just kinda assumed things would always go on like that." After Sly just disappeared, it's easy to forget how much he cared about Selene back then. The blonde thought to herself. And I'm still not as sure as Selene is about me and Elio - but... "If I'm being honest, being with you, Sly, and Elio often felt like we were on a double date." Estelle admitted to her friend. "At least until one of them would say something dumb and make me wish I was on the other side of the world."

Kahiau stated that he had other Rockruff he'd been training, but he could also show Crystal to find them in the wild if she wanted to go catch one herself. That sounded like the more exciting option to Dan, but he waited to hear how the girl would respond. She said that either would be fine, so in that case, it made more sense to just give her one of the ones Kahiau already had. The Kahuna then told Dan that he indeed had a restaurant, and it was in a tree. "In a tree? That sounds cool!" Dan said excitedly, wondering if they'd get to experience that restaurant. It seemed the Kahuna was a busy man between having his own restaurant, being the Kahuna, and raising up Pokemon.
He introduced the lady here as Deanna, or Dea. Dan looked to her and waved. "Hi!" Pidgeot continued to stand by him, and Jolteon soon came to sit next to her. Lickitung stood awkwardly in the center of the room, looking for the food he heard mention of. Rockruff was still running around. He ran up to Dea's Rockruff and did a play bow to try to entice her into chasing him.

" I only have one Rockruff left currently for giving away. Once we are on our way to my restaurant, I'll let her out and see if the two of you will work out together or not. Some Rockruffs are picky with who they are with. Rockruff that Dan has hadn't open up to anyone until Dan came on the scene today besides me." The kahuna said to Crystal as he put the cooked burgers into the warmer and then added a few more into the frying pan. He listened as Dea commented as well.
Then Kahiau glanced around the living room to see that it seemed a little crowded with all the pokemon that were out and about."Yeah, we can help you find one if the other Rockruff doesn't work out." Kahiau said before looking at Dea. "Go ahead and start putting the sweet potato chips into the fryer basket. Then put it slowly into the hot oil that's ready to go." He said to his sweetheart and was wondering when Estelle and Selene would get back as he flipped the burgers over in the pan.
"Goodra, Garchomp, and Golisopod, time to return to your poke balls for now." He said to his pokemon that were chilling out.They returned to their balls without protest and quicker than normal. Kahiau grinned at seeing Dan's reaction to the restaurant in the tree. " My favorite thing about it is the amazing views. I hope that neither of you are afraid of heights." Kahiau mentioned as he place the last few cooked poni rashes into the warmer. Then he turned his attention back to Dea.
"That's should be enough cooked poni radishes for now. If the rest of the group wants more, they know how to cut and cook more up later tonight. I trust you to keep things from getting out of hand here." He said to his sweetheart before kissing her on the forehead. "I hope y'all will have a fun night Dea and see you later.'' The Kahuna said to Dea before heading to the door.
"Crystal, Dan, let's head on to the restaurant now." Kahiau said as he opened the front door to head towards his restaurant. He was expecting them to follow him out of the house now. He went out and went down the steps to the Poni Path. He stopped to take out the poke ball with the new Rockruff inside. Kahiau would let it out once Crystal and Dan were outside with him.
