Name: Vadke Birthday: July 10th. I am eighteen years old and slightly more terrified of the entire world because of it. Gender: I'm actually not really sure. Genderfluid, NB, agender? Leaning towards fluid with a tendency for agender, I think, but I don't really even know if that's a thing so. Pronouns: He/him/she/her/they/them. I'll eventually put something in my signature with my preferences if they ever shift, but I usually don't care. PMs: Sure, I love to chat and I know forums aren't always the best place for that. About Me: I'm eighteen years old, I like to draw, sing, run, swim, and write. Writing and singing are my two favourite hobbies to do because weather doesn't really effect them and I consider myself pretty good at them. Can't say I'm on Gaia every day but I will reply when I'm here! Happy to offer my counselling skills to anyone. About Me: I'm 27, Canadian, a psych graduate now in my last semester of a post-grad (child and youth worker). Been on Gaia since I was 16. Been doing martial arts since I was 12. My last internship was at a group home for young women and trans/genderfluid youth 16-19. While I was there I realized that I'm STILL not comfortable navigating society as I am. I haven't worn a dress or skirt in almost 20 years, I've never worn make-up - it's just not me. (When I wear a dress I feel like I want to peel off my skin.) Yet I continue to feel so hammered down by social expectations that I tend to isolate myself. I realized recently I need more support. I need to be around more people like myself so that the world doesn't seem like such a terribly judgemental place. Thankfully Toronto does have that community to offer but time will not on my side for another four months. Happy to settle with an online group for now!
