The armored dragon didnt respond to Jasper's response but tilted his head, as if curious about why the elf destroyed the image he had created. However, while Jasper was occupied with the image he entered his mind once more, instead of searching for ways past his walls he decided to speak, "Dont inform Shiven of my doing, he is unaware of my ability to speak through minds." a young, yet strong, male tone echoing through both his and Jasper's mind. In the physical world, Jasper had gotten up and left, Shiven following at his side and Velmont, after retrieving his needles, slowly walking at a distance behind the two. The dragon hadn't left the elf's mind just yet, but instead patiently waited for Jasper to respond to his message.

The other two warriors ,barely halfway to the chambers that the elf and their master was, were greeted by by a few demons. Hesitant at first, but followed the creatures.

Jasper yawned, he usually didn't expecially around Demons and the very rare Guest but the fact remained he had been woken to early, he didn't seem to indicate he had heard the dragon at all, he didn't look around or nodd his head as any indication, he wasn't a fool. 'ah, tell me, if you can't trust your own kind with this knowlage, why inform me.' Jasper answered the hint of amusment in his thoughts was not undetected. As he approched the doors to the dinning hall atomatically opened and he made his way into the large room, unlike the rest of the dark stoned castle, this seemed to be the only part of the castle that reflected off of a time long ago when the palace was filled with light and colors, the walls were made of white marble and red satin lined the walls, though it was faded from generations of neglect, faded and dusy tapastries hung from the walls images of golden feilds and a thriving city could be seen displayed in the woven threads. above them hung a beautiful emerald and dimond chandelier that even after many generations still shown brightly, Jasper could still feel the magic comming from it, a spell that kept it shining and beautiful, a contrast to the rest of the forgotten room. As his boots fell agaist the stone floor, though echoed, the sound was slightly muffled from a layer of dust that covered the floor. The only clean thing in this room besides the enchanted peice above them was the table, it had recently been cleaned and and large platters of food rested on its surface, Meats and cheeses of all types, fruit and roasted vegatables, and asortment of Wines and Ales rested in silver jugs by the food. "To the rest of the world we are a dead land, unfit for anything alive and growings we are, yes we are creatures of darkness, but it does not mean we like to live in poverty and eat all things rotting, i am a King and as one i rule a thriving kingdom, to those who wish to see it as such, my land is dead and barren, but underneath the dark city i have managed to get the demons to care for crops and raise livestock, after all once i wage my war agaist the kingdoms, when i plan to rebuild this world i need a starting point, and i cannot do that if i let the land completly waste away, perhaps later i will show you the underground world." Jasper made his way to a large chair at the head of the table and took a seat motioning for Shiven to sit on his right and the other to his left while they waited for the other two. "Sit, enjoy the food while we wait for the other two...and the next part of my plan."

((Ok smile ))

Sierra looked over at Vestakia, a snort was the only response she gave to the other. She may be cold hearted and stiff, and rude, alright and a tad disrespectful to others, but she knew who she could do it to and who she wouldn't do it to. And considering she just showed her respect for Sythe before jumping onto his back she doubted she would dishonor that. On the side where no one would noticed she scratched behind Sythe's shoulder blade and took note that the wolf pretended not to notice and she smiled. She looked up towards Hunter and Vestakia and waited, Sythe remained where he was for the moment. Sierra's brow slightly lifted when she noticed Hunter wiping his face off and snorted again and rolled her eyes, and looked around for the others, "Is anyone else going to mount up or you just going to stand there?"
PostPosted: Wed Sep 05, 2012 9:57 pm

Hunter nodded in response to Sierra's question and grinned sheepishly as he jumped onto Sheera's back, trying not to overwhelm her with all his weight, which wasn't much given their diet for the past month, but she surprisingly handled it well and after scratching her behind the ears he grabbed the same tuft of neck fur like reigns that Vestakia and the elf had and gently guided the wolf over to where the others were.

It took some doing and a small whine from Sheera that her new rider couldn't quite figure out why, but he made it over to the others and nodded. "I'm ready to go when you to three are," He said, making some final adjustments to how he was sitting by flaying out his tails behind him making it look like his wolf had seven tails since her fur and his were almost identical in color, the only way to tell was his black tips to her one white, "Wherever the dragon is I'm sure he'll catch up to us if he doesn't decide to stay with the caravan, I think the only ones we are waiting on are the two kids over there."

Hunter pointed in Kisuke's and his wolf's direction emphasizing the word he remembered the raccoon saying he didn't want to be called hoping to get his attention.

Vestakia wistled to another lone wolf, his fur also silver like the others, but his eyes were peircing blue. she spoke to it in the same language she had spoke to Sythe in and the Wolf immediatly sat down. Without waiting any longer Vestakia spun Noka around and whispered in his ear and the wolf took off at an alarming speed, Vestakia could feel the wind whipping her hair about as her compainion raced down the road towards the city. she loved the feel of the wind agaist her skin as she and her wolf ran, She didn't have to push Noka to run faster, the White wolf did that himself in his own excitement.

Below in the dungeons of the dark castle, a creature sat curled up in the corner of his cell, his already messy hair tagled up even further with neglect and his once bright eyes were dimmed and seemed to have lost all hope. long gashes from hooked whips stood out along his back and arms and blistering burns could be seen along the front of his body when he uncurled himself durring rare moments when he would crawl to the front of his cell to stare at the demons as they dragged in a new prisoner, possibly from the arena, but he would run back to his corner the moment the screaming would start and he covered his large bat-like ears trying to block out the sound as he wept.

For three years he had been stuck in this hell, and how he wished he was Home, if only he hadn't wandered so close to the border. his lion-like tail curled around himself and his fingers ran over the jewles that wrapped around the apendage, the shining metal giving him some comfort in the dark, two gold earings jingled beside his left ear as they moved dropping downwards at the thought of home at least the demons hadn't taken interest in his belongings, they were all he had left.

When he heard the sound of his cell door open, Zanth's eyes became wide with fear, they had left him alone for months now, and now he was going to be beaten and burned and whipped all over again, he didn't know if he woudl survive it this time, the last time he nearly died and would have if he hadn't been able to conjure up just a little magic to help his wound heal. Two demons grabbed him by the arms and dragged him from the cell with little fight, but they didn't take him to the torture chamber, instead they were dragging him out of the dungeons, his mismatched eyes cringing at the light as they left the dark place, but as they dragged him towards the upper floors, Zanth's sensitive ears could pick up the sound of a voice one he had heard before when the dark King visited the chamber, they were taking him to the Dark Elf. Panic flooded him, he would rather die then find out what this creature wanted from him. Immediatly he began to fight struggling against the Demons, finding new strenght, he snarled his unnatural goblin snarl and started to bite and snap at them with his razor sharp fangs his legs kicking back, his sharp claws on his back feet managing to graze one of the Demons on his leg, but that onlymade them hold painfully tighter, still moving forward towards a large hall while trying to keep the goblin at bay as he thrashed about growling and snarling loudly, his rumbling protests echouing throughout the halls of the dark castle.

Firion had left the group almost an hour ago, for whatever reasons he didnt specify, but slowly came walking out of the forest, a shallow cut stretching across from the side of his neck to his shoulder. The dragon didnt seem to take any notice to his new injury and simply walked back into the caravan, his gaze turned to the werefox, "What did I miss?" he called out.

-----------------------

Velmont's head turned to Shiven then to Jasper before looking back at the empty hall infront of him, I do trust my kind especially my brother in arms, but Ma- Shiven is the one I cant trust. I should warn you not to trust him either." the moment he finished speaking with Jasper he had entered the room. Even though he couldnt see anything around him physically the spiritual energy that filled the room slightly dissapointed him. The spiritual energy that filled in the room in the past was so beautiful, but in its present state it seemed more like a grave. Velmont ignored Jasper's comment about the farming and slowly took his seat farthest from Jasper and Shiven.

When Shiven entered the room he was not exactly impressed with the sight, but the feast was truly impressive. He was about to ask how such a barren land could grow so much, but Jasper seemed to know he was about to ask and answered his question. Shiven chuckled at how Jasper got all the food, "Very impressive Lord Jasper." he said taking his seat next to the elf. The moment he took his seat he bowed his head and muttered something in his language before raising his head and grabbing one of the loaves of bread, cheese, and a large slab of meat from he recognized as a boar.

The other two warriors slowly entered the room, each of them taking a seat closest to Shiven, especially the warrior dressed in a heavy robe.

'what ever made you think i would trust him at all?' Jasper thought back, sitting back in his seat and watched the others eat, only drinking the wine, but left the other food alone, he had already satisfied his hunger earlier. 'i dont even trust myself.' Jaspers eyes drifted towards the door as the other two came in and took a seat, but he remained silent, untill her heard the sounds of snarling nearing the door and a smirk spread across his lips. He shifted in his seat and leaned forward as two gaurds, looking a bit scrached up and struggling to hold on to a thrashing goblin, came rushing in and tried to push the creature ot his knees. "Enough." Jasper hissed and the goblin stopped moving immediatly, he could see the fear it his eyes. Jasper looked at the two guards and signaled them to get out, when they did leave they shut the door behind him, the goblin still hadn't moved. "I see you have still managed to keep yourself strong these past years, you would had escaped last time if you hadn't run in the wrong direction." Jasper spoke, the smirk still present on his face.When the goblin didn't speak he continued. "I suppose you want to know what i'm going to do to you...honestly i wasn't planning on doing anything, but only if you cooperate." Jasper turned to look at Shiven. "If you want to get your hands on this Firion, then this will be your best bet, now i wouldn't have any trouble just snatching him up for you, but i like to play with my prey a little, If you can get the little creature here to become our spy on the inside then the Dragon is yours and the others will play right into my hand." Jasper said acting as if Zanth heard nothing. "I am afraid i'll have to leave you and your warriors to take care of him for me, i have some sleep to catch up on. Play nicely now, he bites." Jasper left the dinning hall leaving the Goblin alone with the Dragons, the doors shut behind him and there was a locking sound, he was sure the Dragons could get out, it was only a measure to make sure the goblin wouldn't.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zanth's eyes darted around the room between the Dark Elf and the Dragons, they were nothing like the dragon kin back home, and honestly he would have rather been in the presence of orcs at the moment. unlike the demons he knew no amount of snarling and biting would free him from this situation. "So, how does it feel to be the Dark Kings play things?" he growled, able to speak now that the Dark Elf was gone. the air was lighter in this room without the pressure of so much dark magic being that this place wasn't as tainted as the dungeons or the rest of the castle it gave him hope that there was a chance to get out of here and go back home to Argonos, maybe he would even visit the Elves in there kingdom, get as far away from the border as possible.
The silver dragon looked around for a moment and he released a sigh, seems he was gone longer than he had thought. The only thing he managed to find was a large wolf, with nothing else better to do he slowly walked over to the wolf. When he came in arms reach he looked down to see the large canine's eyes, "Did they leave you with me to find them?" he asked curiously, although he wasnt expecting an answer, or any kind of response for that matter.
--------------------------
The armored dragon remained silent for a moment, he wanted to make a proper response to Jasper, but before that was done he was already leaving the room. Velmont unctrollably stood up and bowed to the dark elf, 'With your permission Master, I wish to use my special skills on you to help in your sleep.' he said, a hint of fear in his thoughts when he asked the question.
Shiven looked down at the new... "thing" that had just walked in, the way the creature shuddered at Jasper's presence amused him, but when he heard Jasper mention that he was to use "it" to capture Firion a sigh escaped from his jaws, but he nodded to Jasper, understanding what he was told.
He waited for Jasper to leve before he got up out of his chair and slowly walked over to the small creature, ignoring his comment about Jasper, "So, you're to capture my enemy?" he asked rhetorically, "Well, how does such a small creature such as yourself going to handle such a task?" he asked curiously, one hand giving a gesture for the robed figure to come over to him. The robed figure slowly got up and walked to Shiven's side, a small loaf of bread in one hand and the other held on its hip. Shiven turned to the robed figure, "I'll leave you to him." he said before looking down at the small creature with a cold glare before returning to his seat.
The robed figure looked at Shiven then turned to Zanth, its hand slowly reaching out to him and offering the bread, so far nothing could be heard from this strange figure, except for the faintest sound of deep breaths coming from under the dark hood.
Jasper stopped and turned to face the Dragon for a moment before continuing down the hall, motioning for him to follow. 'I suppose you could, but try anything funny...well you wont have to find out what unless you realyl do cross that bridge.' he thought back to the creature. 'and while you are speaking, you want to tell me why you do not trust Shiven? just out of mild curiousity on my part. You may "speak" freely in my presence i will not betray a word you say to me.'
~~~~

Zanth had spoken strongly but he shrivled a little as the Dragon approched him, his fairy magic acting up at the darkness flowing off these creature, the taint, his magic core flaring made his chest hurt and he started to shake fearfully, from his lion-like looks he could have been a feirce creature if life among the fae hadn't made his heart timid. when the robed dragon held out the bread, he wasn't sure if he should take it or not, it could be poision or not, his eyes flicked between the both of them, the cat-like slits of his pupils becomming wide as panic began to set it his racing mind. 'Should i run? no...the'll catch me...maybe i should take the bread...no...it could be a trap...but i am hungry...no..don't..." Zath bit his lip and before he could stop himself he timidly reached out to take the bread from the hooded dragon.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 09, 2012 1:21 am

Velmont slwoly followed behind Jasper, his face didnt show the slightest sign of a response, but his nostrils seemed to quickly flare. Maybe he smelled something, or was there something else? 'Master, you may trust me, although I dont blame you if you don't.' his thoughts echoed, then Jaspers question came up again, 'I may be Shiven's best soldier, but im really a mute and a cripple.' one hand gesturing to both ihs right arm and leg, 'as for my trust in Shiven... his head turned away, almost as if he were looking at the various paintings on the walls. 'he took my blood brother, destroyed him at the old village your skeletons overran.' his thoughts echoed, a massive amount of sorrow emanating from his thoughts.
Velmont the Assassin

Shiven watched as Velmont left with the elf, it seemed strange that one of his own soldiers left him, but then again he did order them to work with the elf.

The robed figure gently placed the loaf of bread into the small creature's hand, then the hand that was at her hip reached up and stretched out to Zanth's cheek, where it gently held his face to gaze into its dark hood, "Why are you so afraid?" a female voice asked, although the way she asked it would have seemed as if she were teasing the smaller creature.

Jasper coudl feel the sadness of the dragon and he frowned, he hadn't experienced that emotion in a long time. 'You Dragons have always confused me, you seem to always be in emotional turmoil.' the frown dropped and his face became emotionless. 'I will trust you, to a very little extent, that is all i can offer you.' He opened his bed chamber doors and stode insdie the room, stoppong to stare at the dragon skull, the imp was still on it. he closed his eyes and sighed. 'useless, all of them, i should have hired orcs instead of these damned creatures...' he growled in his mind not caring if the other dragon was sill connected. he woudl deal with his staff later, he had more important things to deal with, first on the list was sleep.

~~~~
Zanth froze as the female dargons hand came incontact with his face, he wasn't sure weather to bite her, or break down, the gashes on his back from the bladed whips were still fresh in his mind, the only physical contact he had ever had in the last three years were all to inflict pain. a growl erupted from his throat and regaining the use of his frozen body he scrabmled backwards dropping the loaf of bread, his hair acting like fur as it stood up even messier then before and the tuff of fur on his tail puffed out. he then collaped agaist one of the walls and curled up into a ball, his mismatched eyes of gold and blue-green stared out at the Dragoness in fear and sadness. "please...dont mock me, if you wish to hurt me just get it over with and leave me alone..." he half whispered thorugh his clenched fangs.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 09, 2012 2:19 am
Velmont nodded at Jasper's response, 'Thank you.' was all he said, the emotion in his voice was entirely gone. When Jasper entered into his room, Velmont's throat seemed to vibrate, almost as if he were trying to growl. The spiritual energy in this room wasnt like anything in the other rooms, instead it seemed to anger him more than anything, but whatever it was he coudlnt figure it out. He quickly shook his head and cleared his mind, before returning his mind to Jasper, 'If you wish for me to start, I would like you to remove your shirt and lye down." he said as kindly as he could
The robed figure watched as Zanth fled from her, she picked up the piece of bread and slwoly walked back over to him. She reahed one hand up to her hood and slowly pulled it off, revealing a red dragoness, half of her face was scarred, mostly being cuts. The other half was just like that of any other dragoness except her scales seemed to dull out in certain areas, "Now why would I hurt you?" she asked kindly, offering the bread once more. She reached the other hand out again and gently placed it on his cheek again, her eyes shifting from their shade of green to that Zanth's.
Jasper looked curiously at the Dragon but said nothing as he stripped down to nothing but his breeches and moved to the bed. The Dark King relaxed on the soft silks and closed his eyes and for once his face showed the years of age that played around the feature of his tired face. 'when your finished i need for you and the others to start getting my armies prepared, once the champions are in my cluches i do not plan to wait any longer to destroy the other kingdoms.' he half ordered, as sleep started to take over the Kings mind even before the dragon had a chance to do anything. 'and make sure no one disturbs me this time...while i can get more it get very tiring having to train imps.'
~~~

Zanth didn't uncurl himself and he froze again as the Dragoness touched his cheek once more. "You work for the Dark King, The one who bathes in blood and inflicts harm on everything around him...how can i trust someone who works for the very creature that stole me from my home and laughed as i was tortured. and now he wants me to play a role in his sick game..to betray the very creatures i care for." Zanth didn't take the bread dispite his hunger and while he did not move away from the Dragoness this time but his gaze dropped. "Why would i want to become like him."
PostPosted: Sun Sep 09, 2012 3:19 am

The dragon stood there, waiting for him to get into position. When Jasper did, he unfolded his hands and a small box formed. He placed the small box at the foot of the bed and brought both hands over Jasper's body, 'This may sting a little.' he warned, he moved his hands closer to his body until they close to touching and he slowly began moving both hands from one side of his body to the other, small sparks of electricity bouncing from his hand to Jasper's body and vice versa. This continued on for a few minutes before he reached down and opened the box, inside were hundred of small needles similar to the ones he had thrown at Jasper, 'Now hold still.' He slowly moved one needle over to Jasper's stomach and slowly pressed the needle in and continued doing this with other needles in various locations. For a blind warrior he knw how to use those needles, for in nearly 15 minutes the needles were in the Elf.
A few minutes had passed before Velmont removed the needles, amazingly none of the needles had the faintest sign of blood, and tossed them back into the box. When the needles were back in the box it shut itself and vanished. He stretched his hands out over Jasper again and repeated the process he had done before the accupuncturing, 'What did you think?' he asked curiously, pulling his hands back and folding at his chest.

The dragoness chuckled at what Zanth had said, "I dont work for the Dark King, I work for the dark dragon you see there." she said gesturing to Shiven, "And your not playing in his game, your playing a part in my master's game. That elf doesnt have anything to do with the silver dragon, only my master wants him." she said slowly turning around and walking away, "Too bad though, maybe some other prisoner will step and gain their freedom..." she said looking back at him from the corner of her eye to see how he'd react.

Jasper let the dragon work, if the creature had tried to harm him Jasper would have ended his life instantly. but by the time the Dragon had asked him what his opinion was, the Dark Elf was already asleep, deeply this time, if an Imp came to wake him it would not succed. Durring this state or rest only, the darkness around the king seemed to slip just slightly and his skin seemed to lighten and turned a pale cream color and his hair had darkned to gold instead of silver, if his eyes were open they would have been bright green, sleep was the only time he was able to brake away from his shattered sanity.

~~~
Zanth relaxed a little around the Dragoness but he refused to look at the dragon behind her, freedom...its what he craved, what he dreamed about in his sleep. he stared at the floor and hist fists clenched and unclenched as he thought of what to do. Kind and timid as he was, he was still a goblin, if he wanted it bad enough, he would get it. "It wont be true freedom, but at least i might see my home again..." he whispered to himself, being out of the dungeons at least gave him some of his magic back and he seemed to pull a wooden flute out of the air and closed his eyes holding it close and thinking of his fairy friends that had given him the wodden object as a gift, if he helped them...the Dragons and the Dark elf...his land would die, but it would die anyway and he wound't be able to see it ever again. His eyes opened and he still stared at the ground his face emotionless, though a tear fell from his gold eye. "I'll do what you want...i'll...help you, Great Mother forgive me, but I must see my home again...i'll do anything for that..." his voice was chocked and his hair fell over his eyes shamefully.
