Blue Tent

Bul was feeling like some sort of bad omen between these two but somehow, someday it would've been shared with the mindflayer anyway. It was going to be a very very long, shitty night with these injuries and Mal was not making him feel any more comfortable. Seeing Cricket brought up the same nerves that scarelings got when they had to go get their shots.

"I... Malodore I appreciate it uhm.." he sniffled. "I guess I have no choice now do I?" he sighed. At least his leg was fine. As long as he could get around the school he'd be alright with some soreness. After all, he had absolutely NO plans to exert himself any for the next month or so.

After letting Mal further explain his condition the boil shifted back to Riley. "It's not something I wanted to remember... but... I think it's important that you know one way or another," Feeling her almost motherly presence though seemed to ebb the fear in him. Though he was reminded of the things Mei had said in the vision he wasn't pressured into telling her about that. "We... we all experienced something like it. Demi, Cady, Bea and Willow... all four of us had to witness something that I can safely assume was different. It freaked me out probably more than it should have-"

Given our disucssion with Nox I feel maybe... maybe I'm just scared to lose a strong figure.

Herryk's response was the most precious thing she'd ever seen, even if she was only watching with one eye. She laughed when he picked her up, but her laughter stretched her stitches, and she let out a little yelp, burying her face into his chest.

"Really?" She pulled away, looking up at him gratefully. "Ach, I'll lets yeh help, but that's all." She relaxed into his arms, finally closing both of her eyes as she let him carry her away.

"We goes next week." She whispered, already falling asleep - but not so much that she didn't feel the need to clarify. "Hel and me. It's.." She yawned. "It's going to sucks."

Mostly in shock, the stranger had replied. Toby couldn't blame him for such a thing. In fact, he was being much more straightforward than herself when it came to confessing any 'feelings' on the situation at hand, regardless of whether or not he'd still omitted something. It took her what seemed like a long time to muster up any response in turn, too, taking another weak sip of her water bottle first and allowing Iris the same luxury in her arms before any sound came out.

"... I doubt anyone could have anticipated it," she said in turn, her tone dull, and very nearly lifeless. It was all she said, in fact, before lapsing silent again and more or less seeming to drift off in her own world. It wasn't an intentional blow-off, by any means, but her head was still a throbbing mess of woe, and she couldn't see a damned thing, and now as more students poured in, the tent was filling up with noise that just made it all infinitely worse. By all rights, she should have been in the blue tent, or maybe even the purple... but all she wanted was a quiet corner to sit in, and since this one was no longer fitting the bill, it had come time to move on.

Mumbling a quiet 'pardon me' to no one in particular, it was at that point that the falsicorn, against what was perhaps better judgement, groped for her bag and rose... or... well, she tried, at least. She didn't look especially stable on her feet even with Iris quickly shifting positions to help hold her, nor did she have any clue at all just where the other bodies in the room were, let alone how many were present.

All she could rely on was the guidance of her scareon to navigate it... but where was she going? Did she even know?

She'd heard Sammy at some point, which meant the ghoul was there, and she could only assume Shehk and Nukpana had come in amidst the flood of her other peers, too (which was ironic considering how the pricolici had waved her her when she was incapable of seeing it), but... oh, Jack, what tent would they be in? And where were the tent perimeters, again? Did she even know where her destination was? Maybe it would've just been better to head out and limp to her dorm room... if she could even make it that far without collapsing under the weight of plain old exhaustion.

She just didn't know what to do anymore, and that bothered her more than any migraine or injury ever could.

"Where are we?"

The ghost boil grimaced. "The gym." He kept his voice as even as he was able, but her reaction to their surroundings damn near broke his heart. Jaw tensing, he grit his teeth as she whined. He understood why she was upset, but he there was no way he was going take her out of the gym or let her leave of her own accord, she was far too injured. His own gently oozing gashes were nothing to the burns that covered her arms and chest, and just the tight of them was enough to twist his stomach in painful knots.

She she shouted he flinched, the fingers cupping her cheek curling along her jaw. He shook his head as she pleaded to leave, dark red on black eyes falling shut so he wouldn't have to see the pain on her face as she looked up at him. Opening only once he felt the burning warmth of her cheek against his side. It had him sighing, moisture glittering in his eyes as he looked down at her. "You have to stay here." His voice was soft, apologetic, but his tone left little room for arguing.

Her skin was so warm she felt almost feverish. Touching her chin, he nudged her face up from his side so he could brush her hair free of her face, tucking it behind her ears. Even with the burns she looked flushed. "close your eyes and breath," he urged her, stepping forward so she could lay her brow against his chest. Cool hands cradling her face and along her throat.

Herryk snorted softly. A week? That would give him enough time to get a little more information from her about this wedding. He didn't like the thought of her going when she wasn't healthy enough. There was no way he was going to let her go alone if her wound was still healing -- not that he didn't trust Hel to take care of Freya -- but Herryk was in full blown mother-hen mode and this meant that nobody would be able to take care of Freya better than Herryk.

"Freya can worry about that later. Now is time for rest."

Yes, Dr. Herryk.

Green Tent

They were ushered into a portal and before she knew it, she was back in school. The gym, specifically. She paused, walking past all the tents, reading the description for each; she could see her friends and fellow students being treated in some of the tents - the purple tent seemed to have a lot going on and she decided not to enter to avoid disturbing anyone.

Besides, she really wasn't in that much of a talking mood.

While she had a mild headache, and could still feel a bump at the back of her head where she had hit the ground rather painfully during the battle with "Red", Lizzy did not feel like she required any sort of medical attention; some rest would be nice, though. And lots of hugs. She could use someone to talk to too... For now, she settled for grabbing a spookie as well as a glass of water before sitting on the edge of one of the beds, her legs dangling above the ground.

She decided to keep to herself, nibbling on the spookie, the glass of water clutched tightly in one hand as she closed her eyes. She felt safe again, and at ease... It was good to be home.

PURPLE TENT

She didn't want to stay! No! He couldn't make her! "I-I can walk just fine! I could leave if I wanted oh Jack Seiji please don't make me stay in here it doesn't even look like her gym anymore why did they empty it why are we here..." Her words rushed out in almost one complete breath, eventually trailing off when she had run out of air to speak with. How could he make her stay here?! How could he be so...so cruel?! She didn't care that he wasn't going to argue with her. She wasn't staying here, damnit! She didn't...she didn't want to be here. She held the pouch of urns tighter, whimpering and coughing. She wanted to go back to her room and sleep, maybe soak in an ice cold bath until these burns just magically healed themselves. They could do that, right?

He pulled her close and held her in just the right places and she quieted down...sort of. She continued to whimper, whine and hiccup. There was also the occasional cough that didn't sound quite like...a normal cough. Her stomach felt just a bit queasy from all the stress, and she felt uncomfortable in her own skin. She almost wanted to peel it off like she had been doing with her clothing piece by piece. Seiji said Cricket would be along to heal her. Then where was she? She wanted out. She began to stroke a hand along the pouch she was holding, petting it and looking down at it with tear-filled glowing green eyes. She would try to breathe, but she couldn't promise she would close her eyes.

Junko sniffled and eventually nuzzled her burning hot face against Seiji's cold skin, leaning into him to try and absorb as much of his coolness as she could. That was when she realized something..she was touching far too much skin. What the hell was this? Wiping at her eyes, Junko gave Seiji as much of a once over as she could without moving her head.

"...Seiji...where are your clothes." It was not a question. She demanded to know where his clothes were. She was not in the mood for that kind of thing.

Green tent

((entering from hh))

Edel stumbled through the door and into the gym, surprised to find that there were first aid tents set up already. She turned around, looking for the boogeyman she had spoken to before, but could not find him anywhere. She might have missed him outside the Haunted House earlier. The ghouls eyes began scanning the signs outside the tents, looking for the category she fell in. It was ironic that she was less damaged than some of the others, given how the Professor had literally killed her in the fire. The burns on the frost demon were not so much burns than patches of meltwater on her skin, but a few icepacks might suffice for now, so she thought. Lattice would need more attention, given how badly in shape she was....

The ghoul wandered over to the green tent, spotting the Salamander that had gone ahead earlier. Edel didn't say anything to Vieve, she didn't want to. The feeling was probably mutual. The frost demon couldn't help but think that the field trip had caused a rift between the four of them rather than bringing them together. At least, that was how Edel felt.

Taking a seat, the ghoul leaned forward, supporting her head with her hands. She was tired and upset. The field trip was a disaster, she could have been right about wanting to go back to Halloween earlier - a thought which sickened her. What on Halloween went wrong, exactly. The frost demon couldn't even feel relieved that she had not died permanently, or be captured by those wretched false reapers. But here she was, still alive.

The ghoul knew her Father would learn about this. He'd probably write in to the school too to asked for her to be pulled out. Edel grimaced at the thought of that. But it was true, she probably needed a break after this to see her family again. There were things ...... to talk about. Her fingers absentmindedly skimmed her the surface of her forehead, and upon the sudden realization she sat up with a jolt. Eyes scanned the vicinity for a sign of the patchwork boil. Was he here? Was he safe?

Riley took a long, winded sigh, and continued to hold Bul in her arms. Privately, she sent a quick Dovrò spiegare stasera, il mio amore, to Malodore. Her hands brushed Bul's arms, careful to keep her touch away from his more delicate, burned skin.

I'm glad you're safe. She murmured, her expression lifting slightly. I'm, ah, - would it be inconsiderate to mention that she was flattered? Probably. - I'm touched. And I promise you. She reached up and pulled his chin forward, to look her in the eye.

I promise you, Bul. That will never come to pass.

BLUE TENT

Lattice had left clutching the bone from Red's remains in her pale fingertips. The wound where an arrow had struck her was now throbbing painfully and while the pain didn't really bother her she didn't think it would be a wise idea to just simply 'walk it off' in this case. If her Sister or Petro had known they probably would have fussed at her until she went. She waited until she was guided the appropriate tent by someone who wasn't busy for a few seconds.

Once in the tent she settled in waiting for someone to attend to her most bothersome wound, there was a faint lingering cold related tremble that coursed through her. There was just something that being covered in momentary frost that just lingered with her it probably had a lot to do with her own lack of body temperature or perhaps she was simply chilled by everything that happened. The rest of her injuries were minor and less of an issue in her mind.

Though Holly hadn't been thinking on it much, she did remember him yelling near the end of it all. That was part of the reason she probably didn't get too hurt during that fire, she'd heard the warning and was able to duck. Sure that rock she hid behind exploded but she didn't die, again, so that was good. The ghoul had barely been looking at him, more or less out of the corner of her eye so when he leaned over, she didn't take much notice. She almost jumped when he whispered, into her ear, about the yelling. Holly would have turned to give him a strange look but she wasn't about to do that, not with his face right next to her ear. Most awkward thing of this trip? Probably.

She almost fell over when West was more or less jumped on by Yaya, he had still been whispering to her so his sudden moment almost sent her over. At least he wasn't right next to her ear anymore. She needed to stop thinking about that. With that awkward moment basically over she took another bite of her Spookie. Holly decided to watch this tender moment between friends. She knew those two knew each other well. Though certain previous conversations were now nagging her mind. Holly rose her brow as she looked at West, she grinned. Oh, she was going to remember this for later. Still not done with her spookie, she decided to wait to bug West.

Roch almost pouted. Willow had ran off his new toy, not that he would ever admit to something like that--but-- "Jackdamn that boil cries quickly," he said, shaking his head. "I get the problem, but still--"

He snorted, then reached up and touched the bug around his neck. "It's been ten minutes, Professor Cricket. And I haven't tried anything else, so can I go now? You can have your bug back, even though he does make a rockin' collar," he said to her through the bug. He would deal with the problem of Jackin' Johnny Danger being in HIS school, trying to take HIS place as the resident music guy, later.

But he definitely would deal with it.

The dragon had just been about to warn JD about what he was saying, but Willow ended up snapping at him before he could. And as a result, both first years stormed off elsewhere. Shaking his head slowly, he paused as he felt something small and smooth pressed into his hand.

Looking over at Vee, he realized she just gave something to him. With a tilt of his head, he brought the glass bottle up to see if anything was inside.

"What.. do you mean?" he asked since he doubted she was saying Red is or was a glass bottle.

"Va bene," Malodore told Bul, nodding with a sense of relief. "I have done all I can for you. Please, rest yourself and heal."

That said, it gave Riley a worried look and a small nod before moving on to the next person to enter the tent, a ghost ghoul it did not recognize. "May I be of assistance?" it asked politely. "Tell me of your injuries and I will tend to them."
