LW giggled a little more at the boil. She had felt what she thought was a small 'zing' of electricity course through Mort's hand (and probably the rest of him for that matter), but she brushed it off and gave him a grin. "I'm really glad you joined our group." The she-wolf told him with a wink.

She knew that Mei was being helpful and trying not to fill them with gloom, but it was hard not thinking about the last field trip. LW would never ever forget the feeling of dying. She had tried very hard to with no luck. The she-wolf couldn't really think of any witty responses to make either. Best to keep her thoughts about what had gone on last field trip and what could happen during this one to herself. Still, her group was already turning out to be pretty good. All of them seemed to unanimously agree to stay close - or cling to Mort if they got really scared - together. Which was a good thing. LW did NOT want to be separated from a group like before. Or have members of her group disappear or run off on their own.

Basically, for the time being, this was her 'pack'. And wolves stuck with their packs.

"Yes. Mort's right. We'll be fine!" LW laughed at the zombie boil. ExP? LFX? Yep, she giggled.

To Mei, LW nodded her head slightly. "Yes...maybe things will be better." The she-wolf grinned. "I mean, for starters, we have this awesome group, right?"

That was all she really got to say before her wrist was snagged. Yes, a small squeak escaped but that was it. Because she really couldn't squeak anymore when she couldn't speak. Ren - that sneaky Turkey! - kissed her and she felt all the tension she'd had melt away. He was here. Still in one piece (meaning he and Tybalt hadn't beaten the crap outta one another yet). But...he was here! The she-wolf's tail swished behind her and she closed her eyes for a minute, letting that cinnamon-vanilla scent surround her the comfort of having her boilfriend there relax her.

Of course, his words made her snort softly and hug him tightly. "YOU be careful, please?" LW rubbed her cheek along his and met his eyes. "I promise to be as careful as I can be." That was as good of an answer as he was getting.

A soft smile forming, she pecked his lips before slipping out of his grasp to move around him and all but throw herself at another boil she hadn't seen in too long. "Gabrian!" She said cheerfully and hugged the tall nix. "You make sure that Turkey comes back in one piece! And there better not be any scales missing of your tail either." Just because it was Gabrian and she could get away with it, the she-wolf nuzzled against him before stepping away and moving to stand next to a certain black dog. She eyed his outfit and tugged at his hood gently. "And here, I thought you might actually wear something else." She snickered at him and mock punched his arm. "You be careful too, Tybalt."

Violet eyes flickered over to another boil, LW grinned. If Jove had thought he would be safe from not receiving something similar to the other three, he was wrong. LW gave the pup a small hug with a hair ruffle and of course, a peck on the cheek before moving back over to stand next to Ren and smile at Cora. "Hope these boils don't give ya too much trouble." She said sympathetically with amusement and affection.

All the while, LW made sure to keep her own group within her sights at all times. She was not losing them. Of course, they all glowed so that helped quite a bit.

Danny seemed to crumple a bit under G's weight, but her excitement didn't seem dampened in the least. She grabbed a few more bracelets and struggled with those as well. She just could not get this down.

Then Roch mentioned Rikki being leader. Danny did hear that.

She made the appropriate
O nO face.

"B-but Roch," she wibbled, "I want to be the leaderrrrrr." She squirmed as much as she could under the hulking mass of G. All while saying this, she looked back down at her bracelets and flipped them around again.

With Rikki handling Danny's bracelet problem, Moure gave an accepting nod, then turned his attention to Roch. The reaper was talking about how he couldn't sense ghosts anymore. The patchwork was curious as to why he couldn't sense anymore, but he didn't want to pry while Roch seemed s uspet about it.

Moure's eyes widened when the large bulk of a monster appeared, noting the creature's fasination with the glowsticks. So, this was their fifth group member, then, the monster named G? Moure gave him a nod, watching the huge tail of the boil thump the ground, reminding the patchwork of a pup of some kind, like how his firefox pup behaved. After Rikki got the big boil a ring of glowsticks, Moure looked back over to Roch, who was speaking again. Was Rikki going to be leading them, then? Moure had no problem with whoever led, as long as they were capable of taking the position. After all, Moure took Orders. He didn't give them out.

Danny seemed to be having some trouble with a few more of the bracelets, so Moure took a step toward her and reached over. "Here Danny, let me fix those." Quickly, he stuck the glowstick bracelets together, cracking a few so they would light up, while leaving some unbroken in case they needed the light later.

And then Danny said she wanted to lead while making a face. Moure's expression became a bit more worried again, matching the one he'd entered with. He offered out his opinion on the matter though, in any case, "Well, if anyone's had experience on a field-trip from this school, they'd probably be the best canidate to lead..." Aka Moure was not going to die because Danny decided they needed to 'accidently' light the Haunted House on fire.

Whoa wait what?

Rikki gave Roch a jox in headlights look. Leader? What? Why was that even being considered? Hadn't they just been over how he wasn't the most responsible person on the team? How did he suddenly have all the responsibility thrust on him? That didn't even make sense. He sputtered unintelligibly for a few seconds before Danny decided she wanted to be leader.

Oh! Oh that was the perfect idea.

"Wait. Danny can be leader." He paused for a second really be sure he was saying this, and then continued. "Yeah. Danny is the leader of fire. It's her job to set enemies on fire if it doesn't put us in danger. A G is the leader of smashing things because he's big. And Moure is the leader of being fast and having the pills. And Roch, you can be the leader of deciding where to go, because you were on the streets for so long."

There. Problem solved. Rikki was responsibility free

Roch snorted, reaching up and rubbing his forehead. If he had his ghost sense, he'd be more agreeable to that notion. He would be able to keep them from places with TOO many problems--but--

"What you can do, do, what you can't, tell us," Roch said finally, running a hand over his face. "Don't go wandering off--if they're telling the truth about everyone dying on these trips, then it's best if we can try and save each other's lives. All I got right now is a jackin' guitar, a lifetime on the streets, and a FEAR that's likely to backfire. I'm going to need your help, and I'm offering mine in return." He looked at each of them, a little grin pulling at his lips.

"We can kick this house's a**, right?"

Tybalt snatched away his hand the moment they had finished shaking, leaving the black dog to continue glaring at the other. Which fortunately wasn't for long, since Gabe spoke up.

"Wait... you hated him too?" He asked, staring back up towards the nix ( damn tall people! ), confused. Looking at the two of them now, he would never have believed that once upon a time they hated each other. There was no threats, no tension, and they weren't trying to strangle each other. In fact other than playful insults there was no signs of hate. They seemed like close friends, not enemies.

His ears perked a little at the mention of the Scarentine event. It had been a while since the event took place, that he almost forgot about it.

"Oh, yeah! Chuppi saved my tail back then." He nodded, remembering hanging out with the chupacabra, one of his best friends at Amityville. Sadly, he hadn't seen her around lately though. Maybe she was visiting home?

"Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I remember you---not at the event, but I think we briefly met during the last field trip..." He tried to re-call where it was and then remembered that it was just before they went down into the underground labs. Gabe was the one that carried Ren after the gryphon got beaten up by one of those hooded figure. Ah yes, he definitely remembered that! The memory brought an amused grin to the black dog's face.

It wasn't too long after that, that Jove finally joined the group and with a little greeting gift---on his hoodie...

"Hey Jove!" He replied with a wag of his tail, before brushing up against Ren briefly to rub off any snot that might have clung to him onto the gryphon. Yeah, he was an a**. "All ready for this boot camp thing?" He asked the younger ghost; shrugging his back pack's strap back up onto his shoulder and looked over at LW when she tugged at his hood.

"But I like hoodies. They're comfortable." He complained. and tugged the hood which threatened to fall down, back up. "You better watch your tail too!" He agreed, spotting a familiar face among LW's group.

"Hey Mei! Every time I see you, you're wearing less and less!" He tsked at her mockingly. "Watch your butt, kay?" He called and gave Whisper, Natalia, and Mort a wave as well, wishing them all well.

Unfortunately his almost good mood vanished when the final member of their team arrived and in fact caused him jump back, startled. Only, it wasn't the reaper ghoul that startled him. It was the black creature stretched across her shoulders in that lazy manor that all of their kind seemed to have.

"What the JACK!" He squeaked out, eyes wide with alarm. "No one said their would be a cat!"

And here he thought he had been making progress with the feline species.

Team Scarlet Sabbath:

When Rikki spoke of them all being the 'leader' of something, Moure paused, then nodded. Being fast was something he could do, one of the only things he could do, really. He could carry things and move fast, so he supposed that Order would be acceptable.

The Runner shifted his footing slightly, his need for motion itching at him. Standing around doing nothing never got anything accomplished, and his inborn efficency was gnawing at him. At least they were talking about who would do what though. That was useful, right?

Roch seemed to be recovering from whatever had happened to him over with the boogeymen though. He nodded to the other's words. Protecting each other would be just like helping the other patchworks out at home. (This would probably be just as dangerous too.) With a slight grin he said, "You know that I'll always be ready to help. It's what I was made for."

He glanced in the direction of the sagging building and then grinned back to his group. "Of course. It'll be sorry it ever invited us in." Moure thought of this trip as a competition for his life, and he knew he couldn't afford to lose.

Aksaja couldn't help but be a bit nervous about this trip . . . especially considering how the last few of them had gone. But, well, he was older now. And more capable? Hopefully. There'd just better not be fog. Please, please don't let there be fog in whatever place they were going to now.

At least the portal was new. No boats, that was a good sign, right? Taking a deep breath, the lightning dragon hitched his one bag up on a shoulder and walked through the portal. There were the expected few moments of disorientation, but he handled them better than others might have thanks to having fairly recently used something similar to this portal to get home and back.

Once on the other side, he glanced about cautiously, then blinked a few times. The Human World? And they were actually supposed to be here this time? Hmn, well this might be interesting after all. It was also easy enough to figure out what the structure in front of them was supposed to be, having gone wandering in Halloween Town's own Haunted House during the Floresctival.

He continued to eye the house during Red's speech, raising brows slightly at the mention of training. Wasn't that supposed to be something reserved for older students? I mean, yes, he himself was a Knob now but a lot of students here were still in their first year. Eh . . . oh well. He'd better find his teammates. Some of them he had heard of or seen before but didn't know well, and others he'd never met . . . though he found himself inordinately pleased that Sharra was also on his team. He hadn't seen the Nergal boil since he got back from his trip home.

Ah, there they were. Aksaja moved over toward the group, having recognized Myr from afar. His eyes also lit up just a bit at Nefertari - glad to see someone else with wings. "Hey guys," he called softly as he walked up, wriggling fingers a bit. It looked like Sharra wasn't here yet but everyone else was.

Hel’s curious, concerned expression immediately fell into a flat one as he once again told her that nothing was wrong. Obviously her look said it all. She wasn’t buying it.

The ghoul leaned forward a bit, peering under the brim of his hat with a frown. She needed to figure out what was up, and figure it out quick! They were about to go into this house soon, and she needed them all to be in top shape! Not to mention that Mot’s sudden mood change was rather alarming. Her brows furrowed as he seemed look off and a certain direction, and the ghoul peered around him to spot the retreating form of her sister.

Why was Mot looking at her for?

When she felt her head being patted, Hel scowled, a hand reaching up to grasp his wrist and pull the hand off of her head. “Don’t pat my head like I’m some scareling and expect me to be content with that!” The reaper huffed. “What’s wrong, and why are you looking after my sister?”

Holly grinned as she kept her arms crossed. Of course she knew what the boil meant but she just had to twist those words some. No way he'd back down from one of them but the both? This was going to be a fun trip. She'd be impressed if he came close to the numbers either of them got. It wasn't that she doubted his skills, would he be quicker then them though? She stuffed her the third pill in her own bag. There. It wasn't that she didn't trust Savior, the ghoul had no place to put a pill for later. Literally.

"Hm? Fun? Just as fun as the last one right. No boats, thank Jack." Or at least she hoped. At least there weren't sleds either. Freaking sleds.

The ghoul steadied herself when Savior started to move. She noticed the other ghoul was whistling. Hopefully not a bad noise. Then she almost fell. Had Savior weighted much more Holly would have been down on the ground. That was close. Was she really picking up the names that fast? Or learning them at least? "No one is going to die Savior, promise." Well promised as well as she could. This was getting a bit creepy. "No one will get hurt, we'll stick together, right guys?" Right? She hoped. Holly rose a brow. "What do you have Savior?" Uh. "Thanks?"

Mot's mouth pulled into a thin line as Hel grabbed his wrist. Oh no. Busted. The reaper's cheeks had a light usting of red upon them when questioned, his gaze averting from Hel's as she peered under his hat's brim.

"Nothing. No reason at all." Crap, why couldn't Hel be as easy to please as Lizzy? A headpat and all would be done! He'd forgotten Hel would not fall for such things.

Hearing the little exchange, between the two, Shun just stared at Mot for a moment or so.

"Liar."

It was all he said before turning away. Even he could tell that something was wrong with the cowboy. He wasn't going to bother prying though. Then again, a part of him wondered if he should. If it was something that could affect the team or their task, then it would be best to get it out of the way before it became something disruptive.

For now, he let Hel handle it.

The constant denial and the growing blush?

Busted.

Hel, at this point, also picked up a rather peculiar thought. She knew how her sister operated around boils and the cowboil’s sudden change in demeanor at her appearance and now had her creating rather quick assumptions and ideas. When even Shun piped in with his usual quick, blunt and truthful word, the valkyrie couldn’t help but feel like her warrior kinship with the grim reaper strengthen. “ Exactly.” Hel agreed, staring up at the cowboil.

What did she do?” Hel was bent on handling this, right here and now.

Damnit Shun!

Damnit Hel!

They were both much too clever. And now? He was cornered. Cornered with four simple words. It was a question he was not allowed to answer. Answering it meant breaking the promise with Freya, and losing something very precious to him.

There was no way he would tell. It was obvious something happened, that much he could not deny any longer. However, as long as he did not say anything more, the promise would be upheld.

"I'm not saying."

Team Drama Awesome

It was confirmed with that statement.

Hel’s eyes narrowed as she stared up at him, her lips pulling down into a deep frown. Oh dear Jack, this was going to be a battle. Living and being at her sister’s side for all these years as well, the reaper knew what to expect when Freya wanted someone to keep their mouth shut, and that involved a deal of some sort. Dear Sally, what did she lock Mot into and why? “What did she do?” Hel repeated stubbornly, “And what was the deal?”
