1v1 League Season 5 - Platinum Biohazard vs Platinum Zeke

ZvT on Xel'Naga Caverns.
More frickin Hellions! But this time I prevailed! >:D
I just kept hurling Zerglings and Banelings at him and added in Mutalisks when I noticed he'd gotten air. The game eventually ended with me on four bases and him on two and a swarm bearing down on him.

And that is the end of my mass upload.

This? This is why Terran liftoff needs to be a tier two researched ability costing at least 200/200 and takes 120 seconds to finish. >:l

1v1 League Season 6 - Platinum Biohazard vs Platinum RTL

ZvT on Metalopolis.
I open with a two base Baneling Bust and my opponent takes the gold as his nat. I wasn't ready to push just yet but I knew if I didn't put him behind now he'd steamroll me so I cut Drones early to get fast Lings/Banes and went after his main. He saved most of his production buildings by lifting off but he was forced to abandon the base. I knew I hadn't caused enough damage so I suicided the rest of my forces into his gold that was protected by a Planetary Fortress and took out a few production buildings. From there I switched to macro mode and took a third while using Overlord creep to deny him from expanding as much as possible. The Terran player poked in with a few Hellions but never caused damage because by that time I had Mutas on the field. There was some minor drop play and I teched to Brood Lords which forced him to consolidate his forces and retreat into the opposite corner of the map. One final push in true style of the Swarm and I take the win.

1v1 League Season 6 - Platinum Biohazard vs Platinum Aaron

ZvZ on Korhal Compound LE
I've been getting ZvZ way too much lately so outta frustration I just go mass Ling off one base. This time, however, I saw my opponent going Hatch first so I followed with an expansion of my own and worked on getting my economy up before massing Lings with Baneling support (those adorable little puss bags >w<). Come to find out my opponent was trying to go mass Muta but my superior number ensured me the win.

Edit: ******** GR messing up their s**t again. Have to go text links again. mad

1v1 League Season 6 - Platinum Biohazard vs Gold SCV

ZvP on Shattered Temple
As per my usual MO I started the game with Banelings but hadn't intended them to be offensive. My opponent seemed to be a little too timid so I decided to roll in and see what I could do. Ended up causing a good amount of damage before turning my focus to economy and defense. I tech switched to Roaches and got a Spire as I saw him getting a Robotics Facility and feared Colossus. From there I took a page out of Destiny's book and started hitting him in as many places at once as I could. He tried to push out, targeting my fifth, and had an impressive force but Roaches supported by Banelings made quick work of it. From there I just kept denying expansions and destroying tech until he had nothing left on the map.

1v1 League Season 8 - Biohazard vs CyberCop - Placement Match

ZvT on Daybreak LE
Opponent opened Random so I attempted to remember my Baneling build (having no idea what the current metagame is). Short round, ended with a Bust and a swarming of his base.

1v1 League Season 8 - Biohazard vs GarbonzoMan - Placement Match

ZvZ on Ohana LE
Having no idea what the new ZVZ metagame is I tried to get as many Zerglings as possible. I think I was gonna go Banelings but my scouting revealed that my opponent was going Roaches so I went straight Ling and got 1/1 upgrades.

1v1 League Season 8 - Biohazard vs Gold GarbonzoMan - Placement Match

ZvZ on Ohana LE
Same opponent, same map as last match so I knew I couldn't do the same thing. Went for Mutalisks this time. Once I got a good amount I went in for the harass and found he'd had the same thought so I quickly dispatched the double Spires and the Mutas he had before being forced out by the Corrupters. Knowing I had a window, I got more Mutas and a bunch of Lings and moved to overwhelm him.

1v1 League Season 8 - Biohazard vs Gold scGunz - Placement Match

ZvZ on Entombed Valley
This turned out to be a rather hectic game. Not sure what I was going to do originally but I think he pooled before 10 and I managed to catch sight of his Lings moving out so I had to get some of my own. I figured he'd go Banelings so I rushed to Mutas as quickly as possible. Sure enough he hit me with a large group of Lings and Banes and took out quite a few of my Drones. From there I moved onto harass until he countered with Hydras. I countered with Roaches and my opponent forfeited.

1v1 League Season 8 - Biohazard vs Platinum TopRamen - Placement Match

ZvT on Antiga Shipyard
Went for Baneling Bust but either I was way late or I dunno but he had a TON of Marines and a few Hellions waiting for me. No way I was doing damage to that. But I foolishly tried and lost my forces. I tried to recover quickly by switching to Roaches but he pushed soon after and crushed me. Last placement match so this got my put into Platinum.

At the end of the match dude tells me Swarm Hosts are OP and all I did was watch Drones go back and forth. I'm writing it off as BM but I want your guys' opinion based on what I did the entire game. Note that my APM was almost half as much higher than his.

He was just mad his battlecruiser ball didn't win him the game.
And he shouldn't feel bad about losing his expos when he's content to leave all of his forces at his nat. Really, a planetary fortress is only effective in deterring harassment. Or hey, maybe expand somewhere your opponent doesn't have intel on. Widow mines would've really been effective since you didn't have many overseers.

And you should pull back your hosts before big confrontations hit. Spawn, pull back, burrow, spawn, pull back; it'll prolong life drastically.
And you also might want to tech switch at some point, or get vipers for the blinding cloud edge.

I'm never really sure what to do with them either since they always evaporate when they close in towards the enemy.

And let's. :3

I usually hate ZvZ but this one was fun. My opponent went for MASS Zerglings right off the bat but I was only to hold it off with a few Banelings. It became a slight back and forth in which I held the advantage due to better tech and upgrades and a well placed line of Banelings in his main mineral line. He went for Mutas from there and I opted for Roaches to finish him off.

1v1 League Season 1 HotS - Platinum Biohazard vs Platinum Orical

ZvT on Star Station
This game was epic. Like, really, my heart is still pounding and I'm shaking. xD
Orical rolled random and spawned in the second close position as Terran. I wanted to get some early aggression in with Banelings but that hasn't been going so well for me lately (I suspect a metagame shift) so I just poked a little. He kept me penned in pretty good with some nice drop micro. Had he used Widow Mines instead of bio I'd have been really screwed. It took some time, longer than I care to admit, but I managed to push him back and prepare my counter-offensive. Made the transition from ling/bling to SH/Hydra/ling/bling to force him back. We held even for a bit until I took my forces around the back to take his fourth. After an engagement I narrowly won I move on his third where he quits upon the rest of his forces getting chewed to pieces by my reinforcements.

1v1 League Season 1 HotS - Platinum Biohazard vs Platinum AMDNorthoc

ZvT on Neo Planet S LE
He opens with some Reaper harass but I repel that easily even though I had thought that wasn't coming. I then camp outside his natural with some lings/blings and poke at him to delay his expansion while I droned and teched. He moves out with the standard Marine/Tank/Medivac which I then proceed to crush.
