.Lake. Lake's eye twitched a little. "T...tch! Wh-what would you know?! Dumb mutt..." Grumbling, he stomped away from Agro, cringing just a little as he heard the peppy girl trotting along behind him asking questions he would rather not answer. He did, however, stop as Kira turned to growl at him, eyeing her teeth and claws.
"Whoa, whoa...okay, geez. Wh-who said I was following you, anyway? Maybe I was just...headed in this direction." Had she lost control of her mind again? Or was she just snarling at him? "Guess you're on your own then, kiddo..."

Agro wasn't even going to attempt to correct him anymore, that conversation would go nowhere every time. As for him and Kira, well he was just calling it as he saw it. " It's best not to push her, I'd rather not risk another chase." He said, his heart rate starting to return to normal. " Well Red..." he started, she must not have seen much of this place. " Something screwy is going on and It's probably just kinda dumb not to group together." Granted he didn't know much either, but from some of the things he'd sensed and smelled it seemed like there was something bad going down. one smell in particular reminded him of burnt meat. Not the tasty kind either.

ĸıɍą ☆ Ƥıēřċǝ_________________________☓☓☓Kira stalked off, leading the way through the halls at a brisk pace. She seemed to know exactly where she was doing at least, and she wanted to get there first so that she could have a chance to try and recover herself and hide under her sweatshirt before anything slipped into sight.
She huffed out another animalistic sigh and cautiously peeked after her shoulder again, toward Agro this time. "Hey, when we get to the room... don't let him follow me in. I'll need a second to.. focus," she called back, the growls coming softer this time, less agitated and more uneasy.
Then she turned back, resuming her quick walk back to the padded room. In secret, she didn't mind that they were following. She preferred it.. as long as they kept their distance at first.
Becca's head tilted, eyes upon the wolf again as he spoke the newly given nickname once more. "Well, maybe... I guess. The last person I ran into called me a ghost and almost hit me with a table. And a couch."
She shrugged it off easily, half skipping down the hallway at Lake's side, her skirt bouncing carelessly with each movement. "Gosh... she sure is a big kitty though," she continued to babble. "I mean, even for a panther. She's really big. What's her name? Kira, right?" A pause. "...what're your names? I don't know them yet. I'm Rebecca. Or Becca. Or.. Red, I guess, now." ♥ ☓ ♥

.Lake. "A ghost?" Lake echoed, slowing to a halt despite his steady pursuit of Kira to quirk an eyebrow in Becca's direction. Then his eyes narrowed suspiciously. A table and a couch? Well, at least it wasn't a wall...maybe that meant it wasn't the crazy giant man, at least. "...Who exactly did you meet...?" He didn't seem in any hurry to give her his name, either. As far as he was concerned, Dog, Guy, and 'Red' were as much of an identification as any of them needed.

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards"Mm, a ghost," Becca replied with a nod, then plucked at her scarf. "But I'm obviously not. I told him ghosts are creepy and dull, but I'm the color of a rainbow!" Smiling broadly to herself, she nearly ran into Lake as he stopped, but barely rocked back in time.
"Uh..."
She peered around him toward the panther as it quickly put more distance between them. "I don't know... some guy. I bet he doesn't know why he's here either, 'cause he was really freaked out. I nearly gave him a heart attack!" she added cheerfully."Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. Lake felt the nerve below his eye twitching again.
"A...a rainbow?" He frowned hard, almost as though trying - and struggling - to keep up with her brain, her thought processes.
I wonder if it was that kid...that ice guy. Or somebody else...? Hn...
"...So then...if you're not a ghost, what are you?" he asked warily, watching her. He was willing to bet she wasn't 'normal', at least - it seemed nobody around here was.

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards "Why, I'm a mechanic!" Becca piped up proudly. "Well... not really, but I know how to fix a car and stuff. And uh... a baseball pro! Or softball, 'cause they make his hit a different size. It's not softer though. Huh... I wonder why they named it that?"
She shrugged, snapping out of her ramblings to peer up at Lake again. "But what am I? Like.. what? I'm a human! Or I was. Now I can like... teleport? Yeah. I don't know when that started, but it's neat." "Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. "Hn." Lake gave a brief grunt and a nod. He had decided that, somewhere along the way, Rebecca had lost more than a few of her marbles and had little to no hope of ever gaining them back.
Still, that was no excuse not to sleep with somebody.
"Well, look, cutie, I don't care what you are, but - wait, what?!" His eyes flashed suddenly, gaze intent as he spun around fully to face her, expression abruptly serious. "What do you mean, teleport?!" He glanced around. "You mean...even with these walls here, you can move to the other side of them...?" He shook his head vigorously. "Then...that means...you can get out of here!"

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards Becca froze for a second, staring up at Lake with a surprised expression. "What?" She paused, tapping her cheek with her pointer finger, her head tilting to one side. "I... guess so. Maybe? I'm not very good. I don't even know how I got to here from there!" she laughed, pointing her fingers to distinguish each place. However, she had no idea where 'there' was, so she simply pointed diagonally upwards.
Then her hands dropped, shoulders rising in a shrug. "Maybe if I practiced a bit more... Why, you want to get out?" "Just a bit of an oddball."

.Lake. Lake's eye twitched again. "You...don't want to get out?" he returned blankly. He was relatively sure this girl was giving him ulcers. Regardless...she was definitely one to keep around. Practiced or not, she was the closest thing to a way out that he had come across thus far.
"Look, just try not to get eaten by any wolves or panthers or anything, all right...?"
Speaking of which...where did the cat go?

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards "I dunno... This place is new. I kinda want to see a bit more first, ya know?"
Becca glanced around herself, studying the plain hallways with their boring, repetitive nature, and huffed out a disappointed sigh.
"Haven't seen much yet though... 'kay, I won't." She ended on a promise, focusing upon Lake again with a nod of her head. Being eaten didn't sound like much fun at all. "Just a bit of an oddball."

ĸıɍą ☆ Ƥıēřċǝ_________________________☓☓☓Kira had taken advantage of her time alone. She'd raced forward as soon as she realized Lake had stopped, almost sprinting back to the padded room where it'd all started. Then, finally she'd reached her destination and ducked inside.
Gingerly, she scooped up the sweatshirt that was right where she'd left it, and retreated further into the room. She left the door open, scared of being locked inside. What if Lake decided not to follow?
So she kept going, ducking into the corner where she'd previously slept, and faced the wall, huddling up into herself. It took a while, because at first she'd simply been dreading that Lake would walk in right at the worst possible time. Hopefully that wolf would relay the message about giving her a moment alone...
Finally though, she managed to calm herself, clearing her head of anything besides returning to normal. She'd found that if she willed it to happen hard enough, it often did. She just had to be calm besides that. So she focused, eyes squeezed shut, and then let out a whimper as she felt it begin.
Bones started shifting with horrible popping noises, reshaping as her body lengthened out again, back legs growing and paws expanding into fingers. Fur disappeared and her frame narrowed, shifting from feline to human, until the panther was no more. Kira sat on her knees, huddled with her head against the wall, slumped forward, and utterly naked.
Scrambling, she tugged on the sweatshirt, thanking herself for getting one too big. But it wasn't huge, so it just barely covered everything required. She found herself sitting with her hands awkwardly pulling it down into place, after she'd zipped it up, as she quickly set upon another task. She started crawling around the floor, anxiously seeking a certain something she refused to lose. It had to be there, somewhere. She even bent down, looking into the ripped up padding for the sparkling jewelry. ♥ ☓ ♥

.Lake. Lake grimaced. Clearly, the kid hadn't been awake that long.
"Listen...this isn't the kind of place you want to go exploring in, all right? It's dangerous. The fact that no one seems to remember how they wound up here makes it more dangerous. Not to mention that it's way too easy to get lost..." His stomach growled, and he wondered what had happened to the dog wolf thing sniffing out some grub. "There's not much to eat, either..."

Right on cue, there was a soft crunching noise coming from behind the two, coming from Agro, his snout shoved into a small bag of chips. Maybe not the best diet for a growing wolf, but he had to make do with what he could get. There were two other bags next to him, one was a bag of chex mex, and the other was cheez-its. How he got the food was unknown, but they were unopened save for the chip bag. They couldn't have come from the trash, the truth might have been just as bad though. Food was food though, and Agro was making good on his promise to himself on his calling dibs.

Ʀebecca Ȼlaire Яichards Becca's brown furrowed as she thought to herself over his words. Come to think of it, she hadn't seen much food, or any, since she'd woken up and started wandering. But, she hadn't seen any danger either!
...except the guy who tried to smash her with a table, and the.. giant panther.
"Hey... the panther's gone," she commented, rocking onto her toes peeking around Lake. "Are you gonna let it... her get away?"
But a sudden crunching distracted the easily distractable girl, and she turned sharply toward the wolf. "Hey, he has food!" she cried, pointing a finger toward him. "Just a bit of an oddball."
