Her face blushed a vibrant red as she felt it grow hot. She couldn't keep her hands from flying up to cover her face as he pulled away. Their faces... had been so close...
Her heart fluttered within her chest as she stared at him. She noticed she had been holding her breath and forced herself to take in some of the air around her.
"N-no... I don't mind at all... I can make a snack for the both of us," she stuttered as her hands fell and clung to her skirt.

Logan nodded as he walked towards the door.
"Whatever suits you. You don't have to if you don't wish it. But it's up to you." He paused as he turned the lights off in the room. "I'm sorry to make you drive me. It's not very chivalrous of me. But...I have a feeling that you wouldn't be entirely comfortable with my driving. Not yet, at least."

"I don't mind really! About either of it. The food or driving... I don't have an issue with it..."
She grabbed her things and slunk out from the classroom and into the hallway. Soon the room was locked and they were in the car and soon found themselves upon their floor and in Kendra's apartment.
"What do you want to eat? I've got some raspberries I was thinking about eating," she said as she shoved her front half into the fridge.

"Whatever you want to make," Logan responded, setting his bag down by the door. He didn't really know how long he would stay but he wasn't going to bring the bag around with him. He walked next to the kitchen and paused, leaning against the counter top.
"Are you doing anything this weekend?" he asked, deciding to jump right into it. He couldn't leave it last minute, really. He probably shouldn't have made the reservations without asking her first, but he could always cancel them if he needed to. He just couldn't wait to tell her.

Kendra's head popped out, followed by the rest of her body. Her two hands held onto a carton of raspberries tightly while she shut the fridge with her bum and walked to the sink. She slipped the water on and washed them quickly.
"Not that I know of," she said simply before shutting off the water and walking over to him. She placed the open carton on the counter next to him and smiled.
"Why?" she asked before popping a delicious looking red raspberry into her mouth.

Logan smiled, staring at her. "Oh nothing," he said, his voice giving away that it was obviously more than nothing. "I just thought you and me could do something this weekend. You know...to celebrate my coming back to work or whatever."
He took a raspberry from the carton and ate it quickly. "I thought, since we can't really go out around here without being seen by someone we know, that we could go somewhere else.... Like to Chicago or something."
He stared rather nonchalantly off for a moment before looking back to her. "If that's alright with you, of course."

Kendra's smile widened as she stared at him, listening intently to his words. Was he serious? Her hands came to her mouth, suppressing a squeal. Chicago? Oh that was just wonderful! A weekend with Logan in a city where they could be completely like a normal couple. She saw it already in her mind. She flung herself at Logan, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'd love to!" she said quite excitedly. She pulled away for a second, looking into his eyes with a smile, before pressing her lips to his. Surprises for you too, she thought.

Logan beamed. That was part of the reason he wanted to go: just to see her happy. He hadn't planned any exact events just yet. He would wait to see what she wanted to do.
He slipped easily into her kiss, warm happiness spreading throughout his body. He was so happy to kiss her. Though he had subdued any urges he had towards her in the past and never quite realized them, he was fully aware of his love for her now. He brought his hand up and placed it on her shoulder.
When the kiss was broken, he looked at her again. "I already made reservations for the hotel," he said. "But everything else is up to you. I thought it might be nice to get away on a real date of sorts since we can't here."

This was amazing. She loved him so much. He was proving to be the best boyfriend she had ever had.... and it was odd to think of him as a boyfriend. But it was all the same to her now. She smiled back at him, her arms hugging his shoulders more than his neck now.
"Up to me? Oh sucks, I'm embarrassed. I don't know... I suppose we could go sight seeing? Ice cream? Oh! We should get custard! Beware though, you're nose is just perfect for smearing frozen custard on."

Logan smiled and laughed. "I'll take the warning," he said. "But don't feel the need to choose just yet. We can wait until we get there. Just let me know if you see anything you like."
He wrapped his arms around her waist as they stood there. "I hear there's that place..."The Magnificent Mile" I think they call it. It's a mile of outdoor shopping center. We can go there, if you want. I'll buy you whatever you want. Within reason, of course."

She felt perfect right then, his arms around her. "What else would I need when I have exactly what I want right here before me?" she asked with a smile. It was true. She had wanted this for so long and now she was getting it. It was wonderful.
She could see it now. Two days with her wonderful Logan beside her, taking her places, showing her off to the world. There would be a nice breakfast, a casual walk in the city, break for a cute packed picnic lunch, perhaps a small trip to some place that ends up being a romantic light show when the day ends. And all sealed with a kiss. Her heart was already fluttering. And... and... when they were to sleep?....

Logan grinned. How had he missed this before? "You're wonderful, you know that?" he stated. He held her closer in a hug before letting her go enough, again, to look at her.
"I guess I probably should have waited until later to say something...Now the week is going to drag on." He smiled again. It was true. And he knew it was. He was already counting the days.
((Does we want to do a time jump to Friday then?))

She would just keep that question to herself for now. She hugged him tight again.
"I'll be counting the minutes," she whispered.

((Yay time jump....))
Logan was rather restless that Friday. He continually looked up at the clock and would randomly forget what he was saying. Needless to say he was very distracted.
The day seemed to drag on and on. His eyes almost never left the clock in the last ten minutes of the final class. It was kind of sad, really, when he thought about it, but...
"Mr. Sykes?" his thoughts were interrupted. He looked over at one of the students who was standing in front of his desk. She was staring at him rather intently. "You seem distracted...it can wait."
"No, no, what do you need?" he asked.
"I was just wondering.........." There was a long pause as her eyes went between him, the desk, and back to him. Suddenly, swiftly, she reached down into a bag that she was gripping in her hands and pulled out a piece of paper. She fumbled with it for a moment before presenting it to him. "I was wondering if I got all of the notes down. I thought I missed some...." There was a tinge of disappointment in her voice.
Logan took the paper and looked it over a moment before pulling his own notes out. The girl stared at his notes quite intently, as if they were something new and foreign to her. After a moment, Logan turned her paper around and gave it back to her. "No, you've got everything," he replied.
She stared down at it for a long moment before taking the paper back and giving a slight, sheepish smile. "Thank you, Mr. Sykes." She then turned and went back to her seat.
Logan stared at her for a long time. Something seemed off....
His thoughts were cut short as the final bell rang. He jumped slightly. He looked up at the clock as the students got up from their seats. He seemed dazed for a moment before he sat back suddenly. "Have a great weekend, everyone!" he said as the kids left. He reached over and grabbed his bag, shoving papers into it hurriedly. Finally...
