Dax kept his free blade at his side, keeping the crimson one locked with Sade`s. "I trained myself, I have never had a master, nor do I see one in the forseeable future." He kept the blades locked, wanting to know more about this curious being, if anything else he was a worthy opponent. "Ally you say? How intruiging, I never expected you to be the type to have allies, you seem more the...betrayal, type." He kept the conversation going, neither taking nor giving ground in either of their struggles.

Yes but where would the fun in that be?" He asked quickly charging slade again. He swung his blade clashing again and again with Slade.

Dax leaped back to mull it over for a brief moment. "Though your offer is tempting." He said slowly and carefully. "I`m going to have to pass, I mean I would love to join forces, but these pathetic non-force users serve me no satisfaction. You, my dear friend, are a warthy opponent. A challenge to my skills. I just cannot let that pass up. You understand?" He didn`t rush back into combat, he actually enjoyed discussing things with Slade almost as much as he enjoyed fighting him. "Maybe later, when I have sampled more enjoyable enemies, or I have fully taken control of this pitiful Mandalorian`s kind, you and I can form such an alliance. But for now, can`t we just enjoy the thrill of the combat?"

Slade smiled "spoken like a true mandalorian" he jumped forward and
connecting blades with dax once more

been salvaged from the jungle and rebuilt by canderous's head mechanic
zuka, The droid opened fire on elbirroh he'd have to move this droid was
way to powerful to block with the force or lightsaber

Dax smirked. "So you know something of the Mandalorian culture." He said noting the knowledge of Mandalorians loving war. "Were you a Mando before you became an evil lord of the sith as I had been? Or are you just astute in that knowledge? Or did you participate in the Mandalorian wars, fighting against or alongside the Mando`adein their quest to destroy the dying beast that is the republic?"

That may be true, but Malak wasted too many rescources, and too much time on the outer rim. Too much hunting Bastilla down." Dax said, almost a twinge of regret in his voice. "It left too much time for Revan to find him and finish him. He should have killed Bastilla when he had the chance, instead of leaving it to the weaker to do so."

Canderous could probably tell you all about that." Dax said nudging his head toward Canderous. It seemed as if with every word he was leaning more and more towards allying himself with the dark ones. "He served with Revan as he went to kill Malak, and for what? For Revan to cast him aside when Malak was killed as though he was of little importance or help." He sneered. "What`s that like Canderous?" He said trying to draw the Mandalorian away from what he was doing. "To be cast aside like one might cast a useless peice of flimsi. To be left once your usefullness ran out. Does it sting to know he used you to acheive his ends? To be a mere pawn, when you could have been fully utilized to your abilities. And what of the Exile? Why did you join them? Were you trying to find closure for what Revan did to you? Or did you simply think, maybe you could find him, and make him pay for what he did to you?" He turned back to Slade. "And what makes you different than the others? What makes you stand out from the other fools I`ve had to dispatch, or the ones I`ve heard about? What separates you from it all, changes you from every other megalomaniacle sith bent upon the destruction of the republic?" He goaded them both, trying to find which one he could best utilize. "Come on, you wouldn`t leave questions unanwsered would you?" He asked them both.

Is that what you say to help you sleep at night?" Dax said taunting Canderous further. "Are you trying to convince me or yourself? I think you`re only trying to fool yourself." He said, goading him further. "What did you think was going to happen when it was all said and done? Did you think, Revan would go with you back here to Dxun, and assist you in running the clans? Or did you think the Sith and the Mandalorians would be allies, and create an unstoppable force that would finish the republic off in ways by themselves they could not? You were a fool to think he wouldn`t cast you aside as soon asyou had severed your purpose." He shook his head. "Pity, you have such promise." He turned to Slade. "I like the way you do things ner vod. (my brother) Perhaps an alliance could be seen between us sometime in the future."
