Rocktalon stood frozen in place. Trying to survive... Those words ran through her head. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind. She padded back towards Cottonpaw. "I want to see you hunt, show me what you've got." She said, hoping the challenge would help Cottonpaw try harder than normal.

Cottonpaw bounced up and down, but then stopped, relizing she would scare off the prey. She crouched low and creeped up to a dark tree root. She heard a small rustling sound and stopped movng. The three cats waited...waited...until a very small mouse poked its nose out of the root. Cottonpaw pounced and held up her catch.
A baby mouse.
"Ah, this won't feed a kit!" she said in dissapointment.

"It was still a good catch." Rocktalon praised. "Remember, it is still leaf bare so we should thank StarClan for any prey we catch. Who knows, maybe we'll catch the rest of it's family." Rocktalon twitched her hear at the sound of something moving in the bushes next to her. She lunged into them and, moments later, brought out another scrawny mouse. She set it down next to Cottonpaw's. "Food must be becoming scarce for them around here." She let out a sigh, "we were having such a nice leaf bare too..."

Bronzepaw's teeth weres till chattering quite a bit, and she could barely make out the words, "I-I-I'm B-B-Bronzepaw...f-f-f-from...t-t-ThunderClan.."
Darkfoot shook her head slowly. "Greystar can't hear about it yet. Too weak." She sgihed, looking around, and walked out. "Anybody?" She called, her twil twitching. "I fouond out about Bronzepaw."

((Lily, you do remember that Greystar is really taking a trip to the Moonstone... she's not sick, she's gone. And Rocktalon is kinda the one in charge until Greystar's return.))
Dawnflower poked her head out of the nursery. "I can keep her warm. She will be safe with me." she mewed. No matter where in StarClan that cat came from, it was cold and suffering, and she would take care of it if needed.

( sweatdrop Didn't know about the Moonstone thing. And I wasn't sure if I should get Rocktalon or not, because...he's a warrior... sweatdrop But he is in charge.)
Darkfoot shook her head firmly. "No. You have your own kits to take care of. It is my job to take care of sick cats." And this cat was sick. Sneezing, coughing, and her paw pads were white. She groaned, and sighed. "I'll wait until Rocktalon comes back from his hunting patrol." She looked over Bronzepaw quickly. High fever. Possible change of greencough. White Paw. Bug ear's. If not made well soon, Cat's Eye. She looked around, and mewed to Dawnflower, "Uhm...you should get away. This cat has quite a few diseases." She sat at her herbs, getting quite a few. For greencough: Crushed daisy petals, Two Poppy Seeds, six cranberries, and two cat mint leaves. For White Paw, the only thing Darkfoot did was wrap the feet in dry moss and cobweb. For Bug Ear's: She put a dab of mouse-bile on the ears. She left the eyes alone, only because she didn't look like she had it quite yet.
Bronzepaw groaned, everything stiff in cobwebs. Her ears itched, she had to cough a lot, her paw pads hurt but felt warm.

Dawnflower nodded, slipping back inside the nursery, tightly wrapping her tail around her two sleeping kits.

Skyclaw shivered as he laid down in his nest. He hated leafbare.
Mistycloud sat up in her nest and stretched. She started grooming her plump belly. "What's going on out there, Dawnflower?" She asked between licks.

Darkfoot shook her head, almost scoldingly. "I've treated her already." She mewed roughly, making sure Bronzepaw's herbs were still fine. "But you can make sure she's fine, because Bronzepaw usually won't be the only patient. I have to check on Dawnflower and make sure her kits are okay, I have to go to the river to wash off my paws." She walked quickly down to the river, washed her paws thoroughly, then padded over to Dawnflower. "Are your kits alright?" She mewed kindly.
Bronzepaw grimaced. "Icestar's gonna kill me..." She muttered, her tail would be flicking if she had one.

Dawnflower looked at Mistycloud. "Some ThunderClan kit thought of this brilliant plan to cross borders in the middle of a storm. It's nothing serious. The shivering scrap of fur is being treated now." she mewed, almost with an amused tone. I wonder what that kit was doing so far away from camp in this weather.... she thought.
Glancing up at Darkfoot then sniffing her kits she mewed, "They smell okay to me. I didn't get close enough to the ThunderClan cat." she started to clean her frozen pelt.
((Darn right Icestar's gonna kill you! wink haha just kidding.))

Mistycloud nodded in understanding. "Let's just hope ThunderClan didn't throw her over here to spy." She mewed licking her paw. "Has Skyclaw come by at all?" She mewed changing the subject.

Darkfoot winced. "I doubt she's over here to spy. She was probaly a little sick back there, and why would they send a kit to spy amyway?" This cat was barely more then a kit. Turning to Dawnflower she mewed, "Good. Once this cat is out of here, that's better. I won't have the whoole Clan being sick because a stupid kit passed over our border."
Bronzepaw shivered, and hid so she wasn't visible, hidden in the smallest hole in the very back of the medicine cat's den, where Darkfoot sometimes kept herbs but was pleasently dry today. She yawned, happy with the 'den' she had found. No thought came to her mind that no one could find her now.
Darkfoot padded back in the den and called, "Bronzepaw? Bronzepaw!?" She searched, the hole in the back where Bronzepaw was was now covered in thick soft moss.
