humble_gypsy_traveller Sammirah humble_gypsy_traveller So I spoke to my mom lastnight to see if any of my family in the Philippines was affected by the typhoon....thank the Gods that everyone is okay...but I'm sure that some of them are affected. My prayers are with them. That's a relief! I'm glad your family's okay. My husband has a cousin living in that area, but they're all right. Though I'm confident that my mom is right...I'm pooling money together with my family to send back home...I'm still sure that there is some trouble they are experiencing...I mean...the Philippines is such a small area...and my family back home have shops that might have been ruined somewhat. I hope your husband's cousin and their family are okay also. Yeah, I think they're fine. They had moved to the Philippines about a year and a half ago, but I don't think they're there at the moment? I have no idea. Maybe another country nearby. That's good you're getting some money together. My work started collecting.

And now I go from passive concern to outright worry as neither of my two friends in the Philippines have been able to be contacted since it hit.

Exxos And now I go from passive concern to outright worry as neither of my two friends in the Philippines have been able to be contacted since it hit. That is most distressing. But keep in mind that even if they're perfectly all right they probably don't have access to phone or internet. Saying a prayer for your friends, though. emotion_bigheart

You can always promote threads here in the Chatterbox. You could also maybe make a general RP interest + suggestions thread in the main forum. I mean, you could put that in the sub forum of course, but in the interest of having more people see it and then direct them to the subforum that would be all right. 3nodding

I have fallen out of roleplaying myself. It is hard for me to admit, but after all these years, I can't seem to get my spirit functioning.

One got out with minimal damage to their house (roofing materials missing, a cracked window from where something was hurled at the house). The other has been out of touch because her brother wanged his head and nearly scalped himself, so she's been mostly with him since before the storm even hit.

great salt lake how many times have you gone thru the forum just to get gold by playing peoples aquarium tanks? In the aquarium forums? As of late, usually I have to cycle through the first three pages three or four times before I find a glowing tank that is also accessible. And since the amount of lag-code and tweaking has made even a good tank top out at 1,250 gold, I only go there when I am a couple thousand or less short of something I need to buy immediately (i.e.; a great deal in the marketplace).

I cycle through a booty grab text list of tanks. Like the one I offer in my thread or guilds or coin catchers guild, to find tanks that are glowing. I find the same issue with less good tanks.
