Malik looked over at her with a small smile, and nodded, before turning his attention beack to the fairy.
"Be glad you only smell like the inside of his mouth, as opposed to being someone in his stomach by now."
A look at him.
"You look like a Tier'dal with wings. just a really tiny version. I know the fairies of norrath had communities, but none underground and they have bee style or butterfly styled wings, not bird. I'm guessing though you might be native to the plane, something saved form teh surface before things went to hell maybe. I doubt the oracle would let you roam around if you were extra planar."
Onyx was still mostly asleep, and saw Rand, nodded, waved a bit.
"Hi mom...where's Moonstone at?"
Yawning again, shivering a bit and a few loose feathers falling out, mostly from laying on his wings, until it registered that he was still in laybrinth, and that his mother was there. then his eyes got wide, and he looked back at her, and what was that...felt like he had something in his teeth..oh lord. took that rag out of his mouth and hid it behind his back.
"mom? what are you doing here?"

Eliot's brow wrinkled.
" I but I can only stay in my animal body for a certain length of time... where are we going? What are these people?" She felt like she was in the dark about this. She really had no idea what was going on.

"He's right...could be worse. Besides, like you said, you're small you can clean up easily." Then a look at Malik with a slight smile. "You know, I thought that too. I also thought that I have a lot of blue in my life." Then it looked like she was about to giggle, but one just didn't come. She hadn't laughed at all since the incident. "He blushes like you do." Hey, she found it incredibly cute.

"I am definatly not extran planar. That i know for certain. I have never been off thi plane before." He regarded his blue skin a moment. "Yes I do look like a Teir'dal, like you. But I don't understand how I could be made so tiny. I tihnk, whatever species I was, I was always small." He shrugged. "Just a feeling though."
He swallowed. "Yes, gasteric juices would be much more unpleasant. He vlushed again. "Uh..yes...well..."
Rand smiled. "He'll be along, as soon as Morelle fetches him as well." And Morelle left her shoudler then, knowing a command when he heard it. She laughed as Onyx pulled the rag out of his mouth. "Are you still chewing on scraps of cloth? I would have thought you had gotten over that by now." He couldn't help it, he closed the distance between tham and threw her arms around his neck. "Onyx! You've beeng one for so long! Every one thought you were dead! They tried to convince your father and I to stop searching and move on! Only Nelphean Brightsaber remained confident that you were...still alive."

"I am taking you to a place where I have been suspecting that they..." his voice got lower, so that the other wizards couldn't hear. "where they grow slaves. Not regualr slaves...but I don't know what's so irregular aobut them yet. there is soemthing wrong. Something perverse, unnatural." He pulled her up, took her outside again. "We will ride Alaran most of the way."

Eliot was appalled. Grow slaves? thats disgusting, someone was playing, playing something very dangerous. How did one grow a person?
"How did you come to know this?" Eliot was amazed at how much this man had foudn out by himself, but then again, he was a wizard she thought.

A slight chuckle.
"Well you do. I'm blue skinned, like your new friend...most your clothign is a blue shade, your father is blue skinned in places with blue attire...yes, a lot of blue in your life for someone who enjoys red."
Onyx hugged her back, and nuzzled her lightly.
"Well um...no, I don't chew on cloth anymore this was..different. yes, that's right. and I didn't know about the difference in time. we haven't been here that long by our standards..morelle told us we were gone much longer to you. but everything is alright at home, right? and why was brightsaber the only one not to give up hope on us?"

He pulled her down the stairs. "I'm a demi-god." He turned back at her a moment. "Well...sorta. A long long time ago, a relative of mine was a demi-god. I'm one of the last of his line." He reached the dragon, swung up onto her back, and pulled Eliot up behind him. "Hold on tight now, Alaran will be going faster than before...we can't risk being seen...or detected."
Alaran, with a growl at the girl, because Eliot was a threat to what was rightfully hers, and she heaved herself into the air.

She breathed in a shuttering breath, near to tears. "Two years. Two years we've been lookin for you."
She pulled back, frowned a bit. "Different? Different how?" SHe didn't much understand that."
"Yes, most of everything runs quite normaly as they have always been. Except that they den has been sadder since you left. Your family misses you and Moonstone."
She was inspecting him, looking at his eyes, turnign his head and whatnot. "You're a tad thin, have you been eating properly? Getting enoufh exercise?"
"Nelphean's had quite the...experianced life. He knows fullw ell how one can live, but the rest of the world not know he lived. He would not give up hope, even helped us search for you, until there was proof that you were indeed dead." She sighed. "The rest of the manor has already moved on."

Eliot flinched a little at the growel, she didn't undeerstand why this dragon did not like her. She was usually really good with animals. She was such good friends with Morelle... but she supposed if the dragon didn't want to liek her that was the dragon's business.
In silence she let her heart soar with the dragon's wings as they took flight. God how she loved flying. But out of fear she clung tight to Roarke's waist.

"well, by our calculations, we've only been here maybe a few months, at best. Certianly not two years. I bet the rest of them will be quite surprised when you tell them we're still alive and well."
He let her inspect him, like a good boy. after all for her she hadn't seen him in two years.
"We've been eating alright. Malik keeps this place stocked full. he and piper are engaged now. and there's much to tell you about since we've arrived here. we met with Esmerelda, and we ran into Piper nad Malik..I evne fought with him. both agasint and on teh same side during the tournament in deepwater. I came in second to his first. Moonstone competed, but not as much."
A slight frown.
"Moonstone and I got into a rather...bad fight. and since then he's been rather depressed, guilty or something. he's lost a lot more weight than me. I hope seeing you helps. and is father...upset with me?"

They flew for a long time, and were far outside of Labyrinth's map when Alaran fianlly slowed down enough to land on an outcropping.
"From here we walk." They got off the dragon, and Roarke slapped her shoulder, sending her home. She gave Eliot a peircing glance. Looking down, they could see what looked like a set of double doors carved into a rockface, a large veranda in front of it. The place looked deserted from the outside. He pointed and whispered. "that is where we need to go." He pondered a moment. "What do you think of a black panther?"

"If he was extra planar, I'm sure the oracle would have something to say to me...she liked to take it out on me I think." Which was the last thing she really needed rigth now. Though a part of her thought of finally going to that woman...may a set task would clear her mind...and a tilt of her head at Malik once more. "Maybe that's why I do enjoy the color so much...they look good together after all." Nice little thought.

She gaped. "Piper and Malik are here? I haven't seen the two in ages...I must say hello a little later on." It had been so long since she had spoken to her son, it was good to hear his voice. She remembered when she used to be able to hold him in her amrs...whiel he tried to bite at her fingers of course, btus he never held that against him. It always made her giggle. "Fought with him and against him? goodness, and he didn't kill you? Has he changed so much?"
Onyx seemed to have changed a bit too. He seemd a tad calmer. "A fight? That is...unusual. hwat happened?" Losing weight? Depressed? She didn't like the sound of that at all.
"Cymarron was right angry when you first left, but it was his way to cope with the loss. He's lost a child before, you know. He dosen;t anjoy the feelings of a lost family. But the longer you were gone, the more he just wished you were back again. He doesn't much care for whatever reasons you left with. He just...wants to see you alive and well, like I do."
Suddenly, she was swept up ina flurry of feathers and fur, as Moosntone lifted her ina a bear hug. "Mother!" His arms shook as he held her, smiling and beaming. He really had lost wieight, his pants sagged horribly. He set her down. "Mother I am so glad to see you!"
"And I you, Moonstone."
"Oracle? I've heard of her I think. But I can't say for sure..." He smiled. "Blue just suits this place. Being in the dark all the time, bright colours tend to be few and far between."

Not thinking to much on it Eliot replied quickly,
"Silly creatures, so obsorbed in making there coats shine and Keeping up to date on the latest gossip, always preening and batting their lashes," she was staring at the doors, they seemed...oddly familiar, why should the peak her interests so?
She stared at the doors for some time, "No the jaguars were much more agile, and intelligant I might add not afraid of a little water..."
She was not putting much thought into what she was saying at all. There was something abotu standign at this spot, seeing this exact scene...though she could have sworn it was her first time there...
