~..lair..~ Reaper immediately thought. Jay was going to do something she just knew he was. When she started to walk she made sure to slam her boot(the sole is metal) hard on his toes as if trying to squish them off. Before continuing on towards her shadow she created on the ground. Remembering how many steps it was from her and stepped onto the shadow she created.

Jay cringed and grabbed his foot, having to hop on the good one and holding it, cursing aloud and then looking to reaper and said "Dammit! This isn't going to hurt you!" He said as he watched her sink down into the shadow.
Once the shadow enveloped her, it would give her a feeling of peace. It was all dark, but the darkness didn't cling to her. It seemed to cradle her and obey her every whim, since it was manifested by her. Jay's voice was audible now as he called out. "Stick out your arm"

Reaper smiled listening to Jay hop around because of her toe smashing. She stuck her tongue out at him before laughing a bit. Then suddenly felt herself sink. Whoa..the feeling. She hadn't felt this kind of feeling since she was just a child. TIme didn't seem to exist here in the darkness. Her head titled up hearing Jay. And extended her right arm.

Reaper's arm would then stick out of the second shadow she had generated in the tree. He would nod and say "ok, it worked. Now...slide your body forward" Jay called down as he walked to the tree and waited.

Reaper frowned. But nodded her head before starting to slid her body forward. It felt completely safe there in the shadow she could see why someone wouldn't leave it to tell the truth. But...the place had no sounds of Mother. That was made her not like it in a way.

So, Reaper's form would slowly form out of the tree...but unfortunetly she wasn't ready for the fall. Jay grinned as he looked to Reaper and said "Well, see the benefits? It's an easy escape route"

Quils gapes at the sight, watching as Reaper moves into the shadow and her arm appearing outside the tree. "Interesting..." he says, he could feel a swell of curiousity in his stomache, his gauntlet beginning to glow a bright green. "Eeeeh! Stop it you piece of equipment from heck!"

Reaper was coming out of the shadow of the tree..when she noticed Jay's chaning aura. Making her eyes narrow. And soon out why it changed. When she felt herself fall and came full blown crashing onto the ground. Landing on her stomach knocking the air out of her lungs. Her arms wrapped around her stomach as she coughed to get the air back.

Jay laughed and turned away, saying "Good job. I'll let you play around with that" He said with a grin as he began to walk away towards the castle. "I'll be back to teach you another lesson some time tomorrow"

"Oh, I'll play with it alright." Reaper muttered. SHooting out a shadow energy ball straight at Jay's knees. If he fell he would find one of her shadows beneath him to swallow him up.

Quils watched as the man left, coming out of his hiding place and approaching Reaper. His gauntlet still glowing a dark hue of green. He tugged at his vest for a moment, sighing heavilly as he looked over the girl in a different set of clothes from the last time they met.

Jay turned, a staff of light forming in his hand as he swatted the ball of energy back like a baseball. He would then step over the energy on the ground and walk to the castle "good try"

With a snap of her fingers Reaper made the shadows and shadow ball disappear. Frowning at her failed attempt to hit Jay. He was starting to read her like bloody book. Not a good thing. Reaper tilt her head hearing someone approach her. She climbed onto her feet and dust herself off. Making sure her shorts and top were no longer dirty. Turning herself towards the direction she heard the feet coming from.

Instinctively he ducked, smacking himself in the forhead. He had made the mistake of going out before making sure the coast was clear. "Baka!"
