I know I could have been a little more descriptive, but I hope it still passes...

MISSION- High Tide

The moon is out, the tides are swelling, and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon!

Pokemon:
Any non-evolved, non-legendary water-type

Rewards: 400

Samantha awoke in her bed, tired and groggy. At the foot of her bed were Festo and Pooch, both snoring loud and obnoxiously. Out the window, the moon was out. She had woken up this late, and now she couldn’t sleep! “Of course..” Samantha grumbled, scratching her back while swinging her legs off of the bed. Deciding it would be rude to wake her precious pokemon, she tip-toed to the bathroom to get ready, as she thought she might go on a mission. She grabbed her toothpaste and toothbrush, still a bit groggy, and began to brush her teeth. Already bored after ten seconds of brushing, she decided to go to the bulletin board to see if there were any good missions in her range.

Samantha scrolled through each tiny word on the huge board. Nothing special, so far. Then the word ‘water’ caught her attention. Just the other day the leader had advised her to go and catch a water pokemon. Perhaps this could be her chance. She snatched the paper from the board and ran to the bathroom, spitting out the toothpaste and splatting a bit on the mirror. Someone else would have a nice surprise when they woke up.

She came out of the bathroom, ready to go, and gave a high-pitched whistle that would greatly annoy anyone within ten yards of her. In a few seconds, one blue and one grey streak rushed down the hall, halting infront of her. Pooch and Festo stood there, waiting anxiously to see what they were going to be doing. “Alright, guys. We’re going to go catch you a friend.” She laughed, turning around swiftly and racing to the door. As usual, the two pokemon tried to beat her there, but only Pooch could make it before her...

The three walked the sides of the beach, patrolling for anything that would show signs of pokemon. Nothing. Festo had already begun to get so bored, he was eating the sand for enjoyment. Pooch was able to stay alert, like always. He was a police dog; it was what he did. Suddenly, something landed right infront of Festo, sending him flying back from fright. Taking a closer look, anyone could see it was nothing but a seachell. “Come on, Festo, I thought you were tougher than that!” Samantha laughed, beginning to walk forward more.

A second or so later, Samantha too was now frightened by a small seashell pounding her back. Could there be something in the water? Pooch was now growling and barking at the water, angry that his trainer, and friend, had been hit. Festo stood behind Samantha, seeking shelter from anymore flying seashells. Samantha thought quickly, then yelled, “Festo, use sand-attack on the water!” Festo did as he was told, throwing sand into the water. A few seconds later, a poliwag jumped out of the water, enraged that the sand had disturbed its home. “Pooch, you’re up!” Yelled Samantha, pointing to the poliwag that was now on the beach, hopping up and down and ready to fight.

The poliwag lept into the air, releasing a mass of bubbles at Pooch as it did so. It hit Pooch hard, knocking him into the sand. “Pooch, are you alright?” Asked Samantha, worried for her injured pokemon. Pooch got up, shook himself, and barked loudly to let Samantha know he was okay. “Good. Now, tackle ‘em!” She shouted, pointing at the poliwag. Pooch ran at a very high speed, smashing into the poliwag with great force. It did a good amount of damage. The poliwag was now back on its feet, looking a bit tired after the last blow. None-the-less, it opened its mouth and unleashed a blast of water, which sent Pooch flying three feet backwards.

“Pooch!” Samantha yelped, looking worridly at her injured pokemon. Pooch got up, a bit wobbly, and looked at the foe. He released a low-growling sound, warning the poliwag. “Pooch, use bite!” Samantha yelled, her eyes focused on the enemy, the same as Pooch. Pooch let out a series of barks before biting poliwag hard on the leg, leavhing it almost fainted. “All right! Pokeball, go!” She shouted to the heavens as she threw the pokeball, hitting the poliwag straight on the head. It was engulfed in a red aura, then snatched into the pokeball...

once...
twice...
Ding!

“Yes!” Samantha cheered, followed by Festo jumping into the air behind her. Pooch sat with a proud look on his face, satisfied with his work. Samantha walked up to the pokeball, picked it up, and mumbled under her breath, “I think I’ll call you... Nugget.”

A few minutes later, they arrived back at the HQ. The sun was almost up by now, and Samantha, Festo, and Pooch couldn’t be anymore tired. Samantha left the piece of paper with the mission written on it on the table. They were going to go to bed after completing their first mission as official members of Team Aqua.

Pass, You were plenty descriptive for a first mission. You've pretty much shown that you can so I look forward to more quality missions from you. Anyways, keep the Poliwag, 400PD, and for the heck of it a Nugget as well. Oh and you get a rank-up. Congrats.

*Thinks back a bit*
Me: A lot better than my first.

Me: I did Night Raid on Devon back when it was called mission 1. You have more words in your first paragraph than I did in the entire mission. Luckily for me, the standards were sub-par for missions back then.
*Looks at my Dusclops*
Me: I've never evolved you have I?
*Makes a note to evolve Dusclops*

*Looks though some documents and then I see my trainer card*

Me: Young then.
*Thinks back to then... and then before then*
Me: I feel old.

*Hunter jumps out of his room after hearing talk of first missions*
Me: I'd say mine was probably just as long as Brian's, given I joined only a few months after him. That was a while ago...

"Too bad..." I sigh dreamily. "Oh, Sora, don't you think I'm better than Kairi?" I say dezadly. Suddenly recovering from my half-asleep=-ness I look around nervously at everyone in the room. "I just talked to Sora, didn't I?! Dang it... I have a crush on way too many fictional characters."
