lol why not? it makes them more fun o play with^^ But we have three outdoor cats and never had real indoor cats. I believe cats are happiest as outdoor cats that live indoor because they get the best of both words and the happier they are the better they are. Also cats can't do nearly as much stuff without claws, thats just no fun!

If I ever got a cat, it'd be strictly an indoor cat, so I'd take it out of state to get declawed in the front. I don't like claws because I don't like getting scratched. Even if the kitty's a friendly kitty, they can still slice you up on accident, and I'm not too fond of scars.
I'm more of a dog person, though. I'd sooner get a puppy. =)

I think making cats indoor cats is cruel unless you live in the city because if they have the ability to go outside and express what their natural instincts want they should be allowed to experience that pleasure instead of missing it and laying around the house all day. But thats just my opinion. Then again we've had lots of large tom cats and I've been scratched quite a few times be it on accident or started by playing with me and the only scars I have aren't from any of them. Even the time one of our cats was running around the house and accidentally scratched my face left no scar. Yes, that is a long story.. XD and the cat got scared when she realized what she did, poor thing, lol.
Well then if your more of a dog person whats your favorite breed?^^

I don't think it's cruel at all to keep a cat indoors. It's not like their quality of life is decreased from being inside. They can still exercise all their instincts inside.
My sister and one of my friends both have scars from scratches.
Anyway, I don't have a favorite breed, but I do have breeds that I like. I prefer bigger dogs, the friendlier the better. Labs and Retrievers are good, but breeds like beagles are very cute, too.

I prefer cats over dogs completely, some dogs can be cute but really cats are so much better. They're independent animals who don't need your attention every waking moment of the day and can basically take care of themselves. I don't mind if I get scratched up by a cat or two, they don't usually intentionally do it because cats are very loving creatures. x3333 I rub kitties.

I think it is, after all you don't have trees to climb up or real animals to try to stalk and kill indoors. It can be fun to play with catnip and toys but it shouldn't replace their outdoor life completely.
I like huskies, thats my favorite dog breed~ <3 I like dogs and cats a lot.
Yay sug! Yes can be independent. They have really unique personalities too though. They're a lot like people in that sense. One cat we use to have caught two hawks that where likely trying to catch him.

Yeah though I do agree it's kind of mean to keep a cat indoors but if you live in a big city it's the responsible thing to do really. 3nodding
I love them so much especially since they all have different personalities. x333;; Cuz if you know anything my cat used to do some pretty funny s**t. xD;;

Thats why i said before unless you like in a big city^^; cus they can get run over, killed, hurt, or taken pretty easy there. Theres not really much greenery for them to enjoy in them ether.

Um well for one she would bring me worms, ok sure that's not too unusual, however she also brought me vegetables from my mom's garden...... xd xd xd xd xd The whole vegetables thing is my favorite memory of her. xDDDDD Also she's a perfect example of why cats enjoy being outside, she loved to talk your ear off when you went outside with her. xD She was such a cutie. x33333;;;;
