My concern is that the "fighters" in the tournament don't seem to be fighters.
And I just mean in general.

ONE OF US. Psh. It's all about whether people put in the time to make things that make sense and aren't just bullshit. Generally, when people make story characters they'll have a character that may or may not have certain powers that fit in with the character's story and/or one flashy power that's there for dramatics. When people make fighter characters they'll have a character that has a certain weapon type and a certain power type and then exploit the hell out of it for an excuse to always have the upper hand. edit: Of course, people who suck at fighting also make fighter characters... which is sad, because then it's just "watch me blink at you and shoot lasers" characters... which is even sadder because most of the time they suck at doing that, too, and you get people like Tac.

Speaking of-
God's Right Hand can apparantly look into the future to know what I'm about to do to try and ******** him up, as soon as far into the future as my most recent post.
If this goes to 12 pages like the last one, Rivven is just going to mummify him.

The problem with entering story based characters who don't fight into a fighting tournament story is.. it just doesn't make any damn sense. Story-wise the character has not been built for such a thing. Therefore storywise... their performance should suck.. 95% of the time. It's a fighting tournament. It's physically demanding on many different levels. If you have no control over the physical then you definitely won't be in a position to control the mental when the physical gives out on you. Characters completely magic based .. with no fight training whatsoever have no place in a fighting tournament.

Yeah, because apparently that character is some sort of avatar of a time god... since when are there time gods? He's like a ******** time elemental. Count the things wrong with that, I dare you.

If he's a time god, then he's pretty damn stupid to have to make more than a single post saying 'I freeze time, decapitate you and make time continue moving along.'

Team Swords! rocked the casbah. :shrug: I'm fairly certain that most, if not all, of those characters are primarily story characters with asskicking as a second career choice.

Owle extremely so.
She has to try very hard sometimes to restrain herself from doing what's appropriate, because her character is a terrible "fighter" and wouldn't know what to do.
