Cale Darksun Johnny you're a Zelot. I'll show you. How many times have you charged into battle without a single thought to the possible ramifications of your actions? I can name three right off hand. By those terms Mo and Dover are zelots as well. I would say that is more reckless than anything else.

if someone is very diplomatic, they're less likely to smite someone they disagree with, as they're prone to choosing compromise and seeing both sides of an issue.
if you have a high diplomacy stat, you can act like a zealot, but not if you play your character realistically and consistently.

Paladins don't really compromise on issues. They have a very set view on the world and are very uncompromising.

You tried going one on one with a 100ft Iron Collossus. When your Archer's string broke, you attacked the dungeon by yourself.

The string didn't break Dover destroyed my only weapon knowing full well we had nothing to replace it with. I was pissed and not thinking straight. The wizard thing was late, that was stupid. The 100ft Collosssus was during the phase where I hated my character and tried to kill him off.

This kind of shocked me a bit, never knew it, which bothers me. I guess I still have much to learn.

I didn't say they were good excuses, but your examples prove I'm reckless not a zelot. I am still pissed, however, that Dover destroyed that bow after I had spent hours working on that character. He can be such an a** at times.

yup. Jedi can be dicks, kinda.
did i say that out loud?
and about the diplomacy bit, keep in mind i also said i like to focus on being monks as well. =P
they have to be lawful, and my characters tend to be good for some reason (i can never resist turning down a reward from poor people, damn me).

Though I can never remember that other kid being anything more than a great contributor to the group.

You trust him way to damn much.
